    • Agree with you. Went and saw it long wait. Was expecting a reasonably sized painting.... instead it is this tiny thing..... Saw it and went "wow I waited for this??" But in saying that a lot of the other paintings are stunning and well worth seeing. But, yeah the Mona Lisa itself was a disappointment.

    • An interesting fact about the Mona Lisa is that it wasn't meant to be a masterpiece of Da Vinci's! It was a portrait commission of the wife of a merchant and got a whole different reputation through the centuries (that's why it ends up being kinda disappointing to see as the expectations are definitely set higher than they should lol)
