If you're wondering why the 705A isn't on the list, its because no one shoots at a properly sidescraping 705A. It presents no weaknesses to shoot at so why bother shooting it. Also it has very poor side and rear armor once its flanked, so multiple enemies arent going to have much trouble dealing with it .
Same reason why Kranvagn barely blocks anything. It's either ensmy ignores you, enemy find your hull, or JPE shots gold at your turret.
I completed HT15 for 260 with that tank. And it was like second game after I bought it. Very good in my opinion. 💪
I block more dmg with obj 430u instead of kranwagn

The Pz 7's gunmantlet weakspot isn't being removed. It's still there. You just won't be able to shoot and damage it directly through the gun anymore. The turret is still cheese.

They also make the side weakspot stronger so you can bounce tier 8 standard rounds while sidescraping now xD
@casuscnactus4864 yeah but sidescraping in the Pz 7 isnt the best way to play it because of that weakspot. Best to come around the corner at an angle and bait shots with your lower plate.
I watched several videos and noticed that very often, having the opportunity to shoot at the right side of the lower plate of a Super Conqueror, you shoot in the center or to the left, but on the right is the ammo rack for all tanks of the branch from level 8

705a prob doesnt block so much beacause a lot of shots get absorbed by tracks when sidescraping
705a blocks almost as much as maus for me
Nobody bothers to shot that tank when its hiding weak spots since other than lower plate it has no weakspot
It can sidescrape sure. That is the only thing it can do well though unfortunately. The gun is so abysmal that it just frustrates me.

I've been marking the type 5 heavy recently and the difference between the type 5 with and without the field mods is insane. That penultimate field mod that gives you an extra 2km/h to the top speed makes a big diffrrence honestly.

IS-4 is hands down the best for HT-15. People think they can pen it so they keep shooting. Ofc Maus can also block a lot but I think it's easier in IS-4. Or at least it was for me.
One thing to consider something like maus has a lot more of its dmg not dealt as damage blocked while something like IS4 absorbs a lot more damage in its tracks that doesnt show up as damage blocked in this proportion

I three marked the Type 5 Heavy with the small gun firing Gold AP and HE. I used Bond config, bond rammer, and MIS T3. The Type 5 has decent armor all around and a large HP pool, so I didn't really care for hardening. Instead I focused on the internal module health, which is pretty bad on that tank. With this setup, my gun handling was overall pretty damn good and I was rarely set on fire/ammo racked.
e100 was my first tier 10 tank and it hold my blocking record!

I just bough Maus after have had it researched for months. I must say that I'm having fun in it.
Would love to see both the pz7 and its premium cousin get a mantlet buff.
Maus is really fun armor is awesome and if I kinda overanngle ur turret armor is still good vs 340 heat -type 5 armor can be usable when tank is angled at 45 degrees has poor pen and turret is kinda meh-e100 for me is a worse maus turret wise everything else is the same -pz7 one of my favourite tanks big alpha and also kinda reliable armor with baiting shots with the lower plate -is4 has to be the most underrated heavier in the game armor is super mobility super fun also good only bad thing about it is the lack of ammo +I think I've never had this much trouble dueling chiefs(pre-nerfed) conqs or even 279 E than an is4 the tank for me is so hard to deal with and I think if it had the attention it deserves it could be the most OP t10 tech tree heavier in the game I actually believe that beast tank

With the current meta, many tanks in game have pretty good penetration and they won't mind auto spamming gold shells in the face. So I don't think any tanks will last long, even heavily armored Obj 279e still get killed

They should limit arty to 1 per team ONLY or they could remove stun and that will be perfect because arty is annoying because of the stun and not the dmg.

Let T92 hit you with damage shot for 850 damage if not 1k damage if you are paper thick armor and say what you said again
Trust me, its annoying even for damage. Receveing 500 dmg while you re the main one focused by xvm sniper its unplayable.

@@Mark-te4yzDudes know if you're good still. Just use your brain and exclude the unprobable. Also arty hits the first tanks spotted and usually good players try to make plays and not camp as hard as bad players, hence they get shot far more often. Not every map has apropiate hard cover
Lets take a look at HT missions with blocking 3 times your HP. Actually I would kinda appreciate some videos or maybe series where you explain what is the best way to deal with campaigne missions. I am also struggling with light tracking missions. ❤️❤️

The Vk72.01(k) has better turret armor than the Pz7 but still pennable. the gun is much better due to bigger pen and 350 heat pen. I did obj 260 ht15 in vkk with honors by accident yesterday, fun tank but very hard to mark...
"705 played well" cannot agree at all, hes only good on the same topographic height then other tanks. His "unpenetrable" sidescrap doesnt work when you let them shoot from below like you have seen in the video. I had to learn that the hard way, also he could have used the mountain to shoot in sidescrap or the rock down there ( you gonna take a hit though till you reached said rock), where "He cant play". From the side of the 705 in this video you do have to rely on teammates to take care of the "Riverbank", or hope you can walz from the rock in there side and have some fun using there tanks to cover your lower plate. From the other side there is a little dip, you just stay in that dip and laugh at everyone coming... I love 705, 60percent WR....proly also the only tank im good at. Im more a casual player, but i did get angry for that 705 still having full hp and then driving around that corner like a muppet. Edit: I also hoped 705 would show up in this video...on my other account i was rocking e3 that also should have been in this list...but its proly not about "most effektive armor". thx for the vid

One which Iyouxin is using is mod, but you can enable different one in settings w/o mods

I literally cried when Maus got nerfed... Bruh... 260mm of turret armor... WOT should count 2x blocked dmg for gold rounds and count completely-blocked (0 dmg) HE rounds as well.

It has a nice gun and accuracy. Great for players who can't spam gold. But it has the lowest win rate on the server
