Sounds like yall need to invest in 5 star hotel rooms bc sleeping in the car is sketchy/risky bc if someone is desperate, yall will only be an obstacle in the way, to get rid of while yall are sleeping but I digress bc its ultimately yalls life/well-being.
The best thing about Rachel is her family and the strong relationships, that says a whole lot about her in a strikingly positive way.
lots of people are sleeping in their cars in Socal due to rent being so high..this is a cost efficient way to stay in LA but not burn a hole in your wallet. I like where your head is at! Living but on a budget. Stay safe girl!

May I suggest a mini van with a platform bed in the back. I built one in the back of my Honda Odyssey and made it so three people could ride together and sleep. My wife and I have done multiple cross country trips camping etc, works great. Good luck with your travels and career.

I lived in LA for 5 years, so I know what you mean the horrible traffic, especially rush hour, in LA, so I fully understand. When I lived in New Orleans, I use to drive to Miami every 2 months, so I use to sleep in my car on the highway. Thankfully Florida has some rest stops with security which is great. BTW, I hope to see you again at San Diego Comic Con in 3 months!

IDK how you guys do it. I slept in my car once on a long trip. Felt so unsafe in a car park and uncomfortable even though I was alone and reclined the passenger seat flat, hardly slept. It's worse if your feet are mixed up with the pedals all night. Love your positive vibes!

Did the same thing in my early twenties me and my buddy saved up a couple bucks and went from the east coast to the West Coast and we stopped at every canyon Taurust spot that we could and wherever we had family members and parts of the country we would stay with them to save a couple bucks Best Time ever I loved Arizona especially the Grand canyon and all the canyons in Utah

I'm very tall too and I even traveled a lot in an Elantra. Splurge for a long sized bed now and then just to stretch out

I've been to LA, and FYI they have these things called 'hotels' there, you should check them out they're pretty cool. They're new but they're good.

How can you possibly sleep in that small of a space, without any privacy because of parents being there, and with always having to be on the lookout for things outside of the car? That's crazy
I can't imagine how she does that being 6'1", I'm 6'2 but then again I'm old and broken. I would definitely have to do it in a small van. With a hell of a good mattress.

Miss, why you don't you buy a ford trans diesel engine van 1.6 very economical bed fits in comfortable. And driving it you are higher up than a car, giving you amazing views, or look at other makes vans with 1.6 diesel engines.
