    • They should make ground anchors for this machine to keep stable winching like in the movie into the storm titus

      @bretteballantine2596@bretteballantine259610 ай бұрын
    • The spikes should actually be in the back of the skid steer. With them in the front it will act like a pivot and can flip the skid when pulling a large amount of weight. Especially since the center of balance is so far forward with the winch on it. In the front will work but the back is more stable.

    • Not attacking you here. Just pointing some things out. It was designed by someone else, in CAD. Sent to the plasma table where everything is cut precisely to fit. All he did was weld it up. Some of the welds looked like they needed a root pass that wasn't done. The centre plate was fully welded to the frame all the way around where it doesn't need to be. Welds are brittle and tracked skid steer machines vibrate A LOT. Once welds crack (and they will) the crack will follow the weld all the way. Should be stitch welded. Faster, strong enough. Doesn't allow a path for the crack. He doesn't wear any protective gear. I.E. getting burnt in the ear. And sticks his face right into the toxic smoke with no respirator or ventilated mask. Finally, it didn't fit. Despite being designed in CAD (I assume they measured the backing plate for the design) I could teach 80% of people aged between 25-50 to fabricate something like this. They've got all the best gear.

      @1one3_Racing@1one3_Racing10 ай бұрын
    • @@1one3_Racing exactly they are regulary skilled or even maybe sometimes below average fab workers, with good new expensive gear, and common people see their creations as work of magic its probably because its more expensive for dave to have extremely skilled guys on payroll, and pay them extra to perform for camera, than it is to buy a regular guy a new welding hood, and a new welding machine, i doubt the cad design was in house anyway

    • @@allamericanlandclearing6577 Yes they are front heavy but the way they work is by digging into the ground to create the anchor. Why wouldn't stock motor and hydraulic pump work? That machine has high enough flow to run it on the pump side and its close to 100 hp as well. The thing that is concerning is you are relaying on two little 1" at best pins to hold that on to the machine. Would of been better if they was able to figure out how to attach it to the dozer blade attachment point.

  • Here’s a tip that I learned to help put on tint: float on all of your difficult vinyl projects by adding a squirt of Dawn didishwashing liquid into a squeeze bottle filled with water. shake the bottle before you and spray liberally all over the area to be wrapped then use the squeegee to force out all the water from beneath your wrap and your final product. there’s also a hell of a lot less bubbles when you float on a wrap.

    • It can be cheaper to do it in house. The company that I work for has had a company come out and demo equipment just for our engineer to see it. And decide if it will be cheaper. Plus we get great build content for the channel. 👍
