Thank you! This definitely helped conceptualize what those buttons are for
Many thanks, I had a go at trying to fix, but that's so simple thankyou.
Amazing! Thank you, Master.
Nice! Thank You!
Bro thanks, this actually turned my render upside down (in a good way)
Very cool, thanks for the tip! Going to try this with my whiskey glass model. Maybe this is an acceptable method for still renders with a powerful gpu.
nah it's not, still broken
Hey man, looks really good! Rendering takes way too long tho :D How do you set up your fluid/glas interactions? I found that the old way of scaling up the fluid to intersect with the glass breaks the otherwise pretty nice caustic function of the new blender versions... Thanks for the video!
Yeah, I've spent hours rendering each image, it's not practical for many things, but it's the best way of doing it :D I haven't found that it ruins the caustics as long as you keep the scaling in mind. I still enlarge my fluid by about 1% and it works just fine, never had any problems with it. Should you still have any problems with it, I'd suggest shrinking your light source to a smaller size for sharper caustics
that render samples tho 💀
This still doesn't work properly and when there is liquid inside glass it still produces dark unrealistic shadow. I can't believe Cycles is that broken after all these years.
It's not cycles, perhaps your settings are off, or your scaling isn't correct, it should be fine this way Perhaps also check your normals
@@philipkriegel oh yeah it kinda works just takes forever to render which is unusable to render any kind of complex scene
@@philipkriegel also with no clamping fireflies and hot spots are ruining it
That's true, but they are working on it and it also takes long in every unbiased render engine
@@philipkriegel LuxCore for Blender does it in couple of seconds tbh
