As someone living in South Dakota, I can confirm we have extremely cold and snowy weather. It normally lasts from October to April. I'm not joking. But I can only imagine the winters in North Dakota, Minnesota, Alaska, Canada, Russia, Scandanavia, or even Antarctica. As someone who likes winter, I would live there if I could.
