  • I LOVE the Nautilus! It's such a stunning design on the outside & the interior is much better with the 2021 update. It's so refreshing after seeing the same German crossovers on the road & even some of the Japanese competition. It's really a standout vehicle in its segment

    • I can’t wait to get a 2021 Nautilus Reserve or Black Label used in a couple of years from now. I actually love the MKX/ Nautilus so much that I’m looking at getting a 2016-2018 MKX/ 19-20 Nautilus Reserve or Black Label used for now. I am looking to get it to replace my family's aging 2008 Chrysler 300C with the 5.7L Hemi V8 which is just giving us multiple problems now.

  • Deciding which SUV to get meant watching hundreds+ car reviews. Other reviewers seem to miss the big point (what is it like to actually live with the car) and spend 20 - 25 percent of their time telling the audience about the appearance. I think you provide the most useful and comprehensive reviews of any channel, period. I got the Santa Fe Calligraphy and I commented in your review of that car that real competitors cost 15K+ more and this vehicle makes my point. I will concede that the Lincoln has a better ride (never been in one) and other advantages as well. But if you compare every feature the Hyundai comes very close (excluding the seat massager!), costs $22,000 less, and the rear camera is ultra sharp,

    @axion8788@axion87882 жыл бұрын
    • I truly believe you got the best bang for your buck! The Calligraphy trim level is as close to a luxury vehicle, like Genesis, as you can get at a better price. It's in the sweet spot. Thank you so much for the kind words. Please tell your friends as we build a community of owners to share their experiences rather than just get you to buy a car. Much appreciated! 🙂

    • @@Brian-jv8iy Couldn't agree more. The Hyundai was "perfect" FOR ME as I wanted an extra quiet cabin, super passing power, 87 octane, good mpg, excellent winter traction along with a mountain of tech. So as you point out, if you have different needs, you want a different car. I see Ms. Fix as providing some of the best informed and most balanced reviews available.

  • This is a good review that you have done. The format of giving a score for the various vehicle segments throughout the review is good. Also, giving a final score at the end is a good idea. I recently test drove a 2021 Lincoln Nautilus and I like it a lot. I wish the review you did for the 2019 BMW X5 was done in the same format as this one. I wonder what final score (0 to 100) would you give the X5?

  • you are the first to mention about the rear wiper which is something I have spoken to my dealer about for the last 8 years that I have owned the MKX and I don't understand why the Corsair and the Aviator hid the wiper and the Nautilus did not. Another change I don't like as a person with bad shoulders and can't reach up very well is the move of the hatch closing button in the raised hatch instead of as in my MKX at the side rear which is easy to reach. Also, I have seen other reviews that say the Nautilus unlike the Corsair and the Aviator does not allow for active parking but only has the option to have the vehicle back into and exit a vertically accessed parking location with no option to parallel park itself. Too bad reviewers don't actually do things that the user would like to see. I did enjoy that you mentioned, unlike anyone else that I can recall doing, that there is a nice area below the console to store things as that is perfect for a lady's purse to be placed. Now, the next question -- is the next Nautilus going to be an EV? Maybe Ford/Lincoln will create charging stations and maybe try to work together with Canadian Tire to have much better charging capacity than in now available in our country. Would be nice if the top line of the Nautilus here also came with concierge like the Genesis does. Pretty good review. Now do one with more info about the info centre and actually take the vehicle on a test drive and also show if it will park itself parallel and vertical. TIA

    • If you just purchased a new car the worst thing you could do is trade it in for something else. Typically you’ll have to keep the vehicle at least one year in order to at least break even. You can always check with your local dealer. But don’t be surprised if it’s not to your advantage. The Nautilus is larger and more expensive and the insurance rates will be higher too.

  • For value it can't be more than a 5 or a stretching 6. For the price of the black label there are much better options available in this segment. The design is also lack luster and a bit boring. Technology is not a luxury anymore as you can get similar or better technology standard in cars as standard as technology is the cheapest part of car manufacturing. I think the review is a bit skewed in favor of this Lincon without looking into what is really available in the market in the same segment in similar price range.
