its not a good system for cutscenes, using a camera rig thats animated is so much better and looks much cleaner.
@@ajojofann Yes, but then it wouldn't be simple, I didn't want it to be daunting for new programmers who just want a camera to move.
@@rkgam3zs good point, i think making a more complex camera tutorial for more experienced users would be a good video idea, theres a whole devforum post about animatable camera rigs (probably even more than 1 at this point). also it would probably be the first tutorial about that type of camera animation on youtube? havent checked

Howdy! I'd be glad to help, I just need some more context, do you mean the Roblox Studio UI, like the toolbox, properties, stuff like that?
@@rkgam3zs Thank for seeing my comment. I mean that I don't know how to open up the toolbox on the right that has like the stuff that says "workspace" and "players" and other stuff, it says explorer at the top of it.
@@Expiredbeefsteak Sorry for my delayed response, at the top of studio theres a view tab, you will see a bunch of buttons and if you hover over them, they'll say things like "output" or "workspace" for example. press those and the windows should appear! you can also drag the windows and rearrange them to make them look more like my studio, the thing on the right is called the explorer, you can find that in the view tab aswell!

Yes! You can just add them the same way you added the first one
For the “cameraCutscene1.Completed:Wait()” couldn’t you just add the amount of time you want to wait in the :Wait() function instead of adding a task.wait()?

Yep, you just get the players humanoid, so local humanoid = game.Players.LocalPlayer.Character.Humanoid, then you do humanoid.WalkSpeed = 0!

don't use task.wait this way. only use task.wait when it needs to be accurate like task.wait(0.01)
task.wait() is probably the best option, I believe wait() is deprecated now. edit: nvm its not deprecated, just legacy. I wonder how it affects performance using task.wait over wait 🤔🤔
It worked but everytime i died the cutscene keep playing again do you know how to stop it?
It's an easy fix, I got you! So inside of ReplicatedStorage create a bool and name it cutscenePlayed, then inside of your script replace the cutscenePlayed = false with cutscenePlayed = game.ReplicatedStorage.cutscenePlayed. Then change if cutscenePlayed == false to if cutscenePlayed.Value == false, do the same for cutscenePlayed = true, just change it to cutscenePlayed.Value = true. Using a bool instead of setting the value inside of the script should fix it!
@@rkgam3zs wouldnt an easier solution be just to run the script under a connected event like "onplayerconnect" when a player joins

you need to change it back to custom, it's most likely still on scriptable

@@surpreemleadernoot1771 so you should have a camera variable, for example, local cam = game.Workspace.Camera, once you have that just do cam.CameraType = enum.CameraType.Custom, then it should work
it's always the same method of tweening the camera cframe, and it always looks terrible
