      @hrodberht.027@hrodberht.0272 жыл бұрын
    • In truth, the armor of the Sherman was slightly thicker than the T34-76, the difference was in the sloping of the armor. Not even the Tiger could take a hit from the Panzerfaust, or the M9 Bazooka, even in the front hull (the front mantlet was practically impenetrable), from the sides even the short-barreled 75mm could penetrate at 500 meters. The 17 pounder, and the longer-barreled 76mm, could penetrate both sides from 1000 meters. Oddly, you hardly ever have someone showing that!

Here in Italian _'equipaggio'_ as _'equipo'_ in Castilian and _'équipage'_ in French. Let's jump over this language barrier and enjoy the video. 😊

  • I worked at a company that hired a Russian, engineer back in the early 90's. He said his grandfather worked for a Unit in the Soviet Army, that got war footage for none other than Joseph Stalin. He said fortunately his grandfather, was a producer/technical for the films. and wasn't a combat cameraman He said that the boss wanted POV footage of the combat. He said they had criminals and deserters locked in tanks to fight and win or die. along with all kinds of crazy shit. He said the films are still locked away at that time 30 years ago.

    @preussenuberalles1682@preussenuberalles16825 жыл бұрын
    • Certainly all of that happened, but the pivotal reason was that they ran out of both ammunition, weapons and soldiers for all of it was spent in the Eastern Front which Hitler feared the most, and for good reasons because of all the mayhem he had caused them. At last, the main lesson should be to shun military solutions but it seems that some people don't care to shed rivers of blood.

      @preussenuberalles1682@preussenuberalles16825 жыл бұрын
    • @Anthony Z : The Luftwaffe was destroyed in the Eastern Front, and so was the Wehrmacht as well. The Western Front was supported with minimal power for Hitler feared the revenge from Russians in view of the ruthless mayhem and slaughter caused there so that the most and the best of both weaponry and soldiers was sent to engage the Red Army along with most ammunition and fuel. The few skilled German pilots in the Western Front succumbed due to numbers, not quality, either of weaponry or human. *When 100 aircraft attack 10, and the former can replace all the shot down whereas the latter can't, that is to lose by numbers.* That is something Pindostanis lack both the gut and the wisdom to recognize for all the life since children they are brainwashed by Hollywood and its lies. Just check _Tobruk_ in Wikipedia for you to learn how a failed operation is presented like a successful one. The ranks in the Western Front was filled with elders and children, that decolorates the purported Pindostani _'victory'._ But as Pindstanis are utterly uncapable of any sense of honor, they prefer to make fake history movies. Have you ever seen a Pindostani reading books in a library instead of watching TV fake news? Have you ever seen a Pindostani buying dictionaries instead of gadgets for useless purposes?

    • @Roger Out Who's we. The Soviets were uneasy allies with Germany until they where attacked in the summer of 1941. By then France was already knocked out of the war.PS WW2 started when Germany and the Soviet Union invaded Poland and Great Britain and France honored their treaty with Poland. The US, while giving some aid to England, didn't really enter the war until Japan attacked Pearl Harbor and the genius Hitler declared war on the US. That insured that Germany had an enemy on both sides with almost unlimited manpower and resources.

  • At 26:38 that's not even remotely a British Sherman, it's not an allied tank at all. It's a destroyed Panther. You can easily tell by the larger size, different shape, the fact it has a commander's cupola on top, different drive train/wheels, the muzzle brake and gun mantlet- all very different from a Sherman. Compare it with the following picture at 26:40 which is a Sherman and you can notice the different shape, smaller size, different drive train/wheels and the lack of commander's cupola (and before you say "It's a Firefly variant" the Firefly only noticeable difference from other Shermans is the gun, the rest of it is pretty much the same)
