  • Somehow I am in tears after watching this, he really went through a lot lately and finally he is Westbrook again!

    @howjr50@howjr50 Жыл бұрын
    • He’s never changed. He’s the most inefficient player in modern NBA history. He doesn’t try on defense in non-televised, non-playoff games, and he is only effective if he plays on a team with little to no reliable offensive options … where he can just dominate the ball all game and rack up counting stats. That’s all real cool, and he LOVES being the prima donna, center of attention (that’s the whole fashion thing that he loves), but it always ends up like this game, at the end: a loss. Correction: I shouldn’t say “always”. My point is … you’re not going anywhere letting Westbrook be Westbrook. And he obviously can’t play a “role”, as seen in his Lakers tenure. So … he is what he is? OKC traded Westbrook and Paul George in the 2020 season, then they actually ended up with a better winning percentage the next year by simply adding Chris Paul. And the Rockets got worse by adding Westbrook that same year. The Lakers traded Westbrook, and suddenly the team clicked and had chemistry (granted, getting a few players from that deal helped). That pretty much tells the story of Westbrook. But … throw him on a bad team, or a team with limited personnel because of injury … and let him have that ball for 50% of the game … and he’ll do some stuff! He won’t lead your team to a win, or make anyone on the team better, but he will give you the full Russell Westbrook show. I guess that’s good enough for you if you’re crying? Bravo, Mr. Westbrook! Bravo!

      @mercy________@mercy________ Жыл бұрын
    • @@79Glitch Michael I hope you find whatever you’re missing in life. It’s sad even that you said all this and it just speaks to you not even being knowledgeable about this stuff. Im going yo help enlighten you a bit , I cant correct everything you said, it’s too much you got wrong. But the one thing about him not being able to play a role is crazy. He came off the bench this year after getting a coach who knows how to utilize a 3 man rotation and was playing great. We would have had 4 more wins if it wasn’t for the bad refs before being traded. And in the tight west that would’ve had us higher. The reason why we got better also was because of the new additions bringing skills the prior players just didn’t have , not because “granted” we got these players they helped. No they fixed everything the Lakers were missing from a year ago having old players and G league players and for two Westbrook wasn’t the answer when we signed him, because he’s just a mini Lebron who can’t shoot as well. And we got all those pieces back from him because he played good enough to up his trade value just a bit , when right before the season all they were offering for him was John Wall. All the man was doing was acknowledging the adversity he went through and how he’s playing more Westbrook like basketball with confidence. But you come here talking about stuff that just isn’t correct. Just talking down for no reason at this point. Like I said I can’t correct everything cause homie that’s too much for you rn but hopefully this opens your eyes a bit and teaches you not to just run with anything you see like the BS nba narratives and see the truth a bit.

  • Russ has been amazing this whole series, he shot it badly on game 1 but did the winning plays late in the 4th to secure the win, and without PG and now without Kawhi it was always gonna be super hatd to win any games but he is for sure proving his worth

  • As I expected, Westbrook was placed in situations while with the Lakers to not succeed. Despite the LA Clippers losing the series, Westbrook produced as long as he had fair opportunities to do it. What's past is past, but a lot of Westbrook critics need to come clean.

  • Bro Kawhi is legit a joke. Westbrook is such a great player and is barely ever injured. But he’s gonna lose because PG and Kawhi are made of glass. People need start adding “health” and “longevity” as a stat because it matters when you’re playing a series. Even without a ring, Westbrook will always have my respect because he actually plays ball. And plays for his team. With heart.

    • Durability should be a main attribute forreal! what good is a player rating of 99 when he's injured 50% of the time? it means his true rating is 49.5% lol
