Hallooo zusammen! It has been a while, I know. I'm glad to bring a well-prepared video to you guys about how and why I study German. German is not an easy language, but that just makes reaping the benefits 1000x better! I've been focusing a lot on Spanish and Portuguese this year, so it's good to make a change. I can't wait to keep improving. Hopefully this gives you a full comprehension of what works for me and why, but if there's questions feel free to ask :) Hope you enjoy!
Soon I'll release a video about my travel plans for the winter (they include Germany!) I'm so excited.

    • "Lucky one"? I hated grammar when I was young but now I understand that grammar is a foundation of forming sentences. Does that make me lucky? NOPE, Just get your ass on internet or any book and just simply brainstorm than even youll be able to be the "lucky ones". Its so sad how people just negelect other peoples efforts and attribute it as "being lucky". Thats so immature.

    • Same experience... Due to some obligations I needed to take a pause from Deutsch for about 6 months. Before that I reached almost B2 level. After 6 months when I decided to continue I've realised that I forgot almost everything... So I've started from the beginning... It is not literaly that I forgot everything but most of the things YES.

  • I'm not English, that's why my English isn't good, I'm German. I just wanted to say that I know that German is a difficult language. I have a hard time with English, although it is an easy language compared to German. But I'm always impressed by how enthusiastic people are about my mother tongue. A tip for everyone who wants to learn it, read books, try to integrate German into your everyday life and don't be afraid. Everyone in Germany/Austria will be impressed by your language skills, whether you have problems speaking or an accent. What I personally find very funny is that almost no German knows the right grammar, so don't stress yourself too much, it's not bad to make mistakes.

  • For listening to German music: The Girl group "Tic Tac Toe" made German Rap in the late 1980s. Look for songs you like and look for the lyrics - like the song "Ich find dich scheisse". A German Songwriter is Reinhard May. He is very easy to understand. Look for "Über den Wolken" or "Der Mörder ist immer der Gärtner".

  • regarding the outdated grammar book: I think it should be fine for the most stuff, but there have been some changes it the last decades mostly to when words are divided by a space or not and whether some words are written with a capital letter or not. Additionally there were some attempts to standardize spellings of words using s, ss or ß. As far as I know these are the mature changes (there are also a lot of minor changes once in a while), so it should be still fine using it for most grammar, but be aware that some words use old spelling/grammar rules.

    @amarYsium@amarYsium3 жыл бұрын
    • Well, first off "Einsamkeit" is a noun and "allein sein" is an adjective. So im gonna explain you that with the adjective form of "Einsamkeit" which is "einsam". If someone is "einsam" that means this person is (almost) constantly alone and thus have a bad feeling resulting out of this loneliness. If someone is "alleine" that means he is physically alone at a certain moment. I come from Germany so you can believe me that im right.
