You should mention what the Russians were doing to the Chechen male population during the Second Chechen War. In the so-called cleansing operations (zachistka), the Russian army would go to a town/village suspected of having some rebels, round up all males above a certain age (something like 15 years of age) and summarily execute them, regardless of whether they had done anything.
They do the same now… they haven’t changed
