  • Your second tip has almost fixed my toss issues. I used to bend a little to the front while starting the swing. Once I started keeping my back straight, the toss became good. Thank you !

  • The way I understood what you said is you start with 70 percent weight back leg but as you deliver the toss you go to front leg, shouldnt you still have 70 percent on back leg when in trophy position, so you can drive with back leg mostly into the ball, 30 percent front leg?

    • Thanks for your comment Jack. In my video I refer to the fact that a lot of players have the weight too much on the back foot at the point of release, meaning that they lack stability and balance, the front foot moves and they often end up pulling the ball toss behind them. My suggestion is that they start to transfer the weight forwards as they initiate the ball toss, 1 to allow for forward momentum, 2 to allow for a good stable base and 3 to help the ball toss go a little furthe rin front. Of course it's true that pro players use the back leg to drive up, but most club and low level competitive players don't drive much with the legs, if at all. More common than the lack of leg drive are the issues I've listed, and so I beleieve that this can be a good way of correcting some of the issues I've referred to for many players
