  • New comers will learn. Tiers matter not in Tekken. If you don’t know a characters move set. You will probably lose to said character

    • Tiers don’t matter lol… honourable but, didnt an S+ character take up 6 of 8 top 8 spots in T7 at one point? If you didn’t not sure how you missed it, it had the whole community crying. Matter of fact I have never heard a community complain about guest characters as much as the Tekken community did strictly because they dominated the tier list. I have literally never seen these things happen with a character considered low tier in over 25 years of fighting games. That being said you need not capitulate to a tier list at all. Ideally the better players don’t bother and learn who they enjoy or fits their style of play. But to pretend there isn’t a hierarchy of characters based on a games mechanics or tools that some may or may not have isn’t really beneficial. Just acknowledge it and move on, no need to focus so much of your gameplay experience based off a community ranking that doesn’t even really apply so much to you unless you are playing for money.

    • Yeah, considering I do be pretty new to 3D fighters within the Rollback era, I'd say i'm a scrub, I get into my own head with the fancy characters though, Reina is definately on my radar to put some time into, but i'd rather get more experience before going to some others y'know? @@pfuze_5775

    • Itll take time especially raven (backturn will get you killed and takes getting used to) but just try. Worst that will happen is you'll not like/not good with the char but you'll know the moves for matchups. As a raven player he's exceptionally fun especially in heat

  • this dumb game has walls but also invisible walls so after juggling the opponent a bit they bounce off from nowhere 1:27 (watch a few secs)...and everyone seems to be okay with this? how is that okay? lol... i mean, off the freaking top of my head, can't they give those invisible walls some kind of tint or some kind of very transparent effect?

    • maybe there can be a super simple minimap that shows your and opponent's position on the stage (like soccer games shows players and their positions but even simpler) so you can see you are approaching a corner diagonally etc? i'm sure this would be useful.

    • You just gotta be ready man. No need to be such a little whiny baby. 3D collision isn’t easy and they do a great job for the most part. It’s not perfect but if you play long enough it becomes intuitive, it’s part of the game in a sense. The best players adapt, they don’t complain.

    • Umm, where is the "invisible wall" exactly? The timestamp you put forward shows a combo drop, not a wall.
