**Fun fact 1:** The jaguar is native to North America. However they eventually migrated south where they now inhabit forests, grasslands, swamps, and riparian habitats from Mexico to South America. **Fun fact 2:** The word jaguar is derived from the Tupi Guarani Native American word îagûara, which means 'he who kills with one blow' **Fun fact 3:** In Mayan mythology, the jaguar was a being of the stars and the earth. As a symbol of power, the jaguar is a reminder that we’re capable of achieving much more than we might think we can. If a jaguar comes into your life, whether in real life or in art or the media, it can be a sign for you to claim your personal power in a work setting, a relationship, or even over yourself. Remember, you r far more powerful than u realize. At the same time, your power is a responsibility and a gift, use it wisely like the Jaguar❤. The jaguar is a protector of the shamans from negative energy/harmful spirits. The jaguar spirit animal reminds u not to lower your vibration to others. When the jaguar is ur spirit animal, u have an unrelenting protector on your side. Feelin vulnerable/unsure about a situation? Envision the ferocity of the jaguar who does not back down. **Fun fact 4:** The jaguar is known for being a strong swimmer. They are an adaptable creature who can live in a range of habitats, from grasslands to tropical forests, to mangroves, swamps, and riverways. With this ability to live in different habitats, the jaguar is a symbol of transformation thus the jaguar spirit animal is a reminder that u have the ability to transform your life in both simple & extraordinary ways. What is special about the jaguar is that they weren’t born strong swimmers like the alligator or frog. The jaguar had to learn to swim. So, these cool cats are a powerful reminder that even if you feel that u don’t have certain natural abilities or gifts that others do, with the power of your will, u can transform an area of your life and achieve your dreams. ✨ **Fun fact 5:** the black jaguar is a rare gem. Only 6% of jaguars are black. They are highly endangered & elusive. They share the same symbolism as the spotted jaguar. With additional meanings: Mystery, formality, rebellion, & uniqueness. People whose spirit animal is the black jaguar are the types who come up with the ideas that no one else thought of. Like the dark horse who no one expected to win, the black jaguar is a revelation.😊

Most zookeepers (coming from a zookeeper in training here btw) do not condone these actions and actually refer to this type of stuff as unprofessional and careless. We think in a mentality where this animal is in our care and if anything goes wrong, it's our responsibility. There's some animals where they are quite docile and little to no threat to people. Jaguars though.... big danger you would be throwing yourself into. Because, in the end, it is a wild animal and not domesticated. It could have a trigger at any moment and someone could get hurt. And, sadly, some zoos (mostly in Europe) might euthanize an animal even after they already hurt someone. Just to be clear, I'm not accusing you of thinking all zookeepers would do this. I'm just very passionate about the field.

A dog is more cute than any wild cat

@@Astral_tha_God Those are two different types of hunters man. There are hunters that hunt for sport, and ones that hunt for food
@@Astral_tha_God No, those are TROPHY HUNTERS, AWFUL PEOPLE! REAL hunters hunt for food for their family, and they use all parts of the animal not to waste. It's just like a predator hunting prey to feed their family, that is not a bad thing. Trophy hunters and Fox hunters specifically just hunt for the..."fun" of it. I want to be a hunter because killing a free roaming animal and eating it is better than the disgusting practice of factory farming.

Nature documentaries: “Jaguars r the most DANGEROUS animals in South America!!!” Zookeepers: *boop*
They are, but they are still majestic and beautiful. And not as bad as a cougar which sounds like a kitten and would be in your neck before you knew he was there.
Yeah boop or whatever... they can attack any second so boop to the zookeeper

Any animal, including humans, is only dangerous when it feels threatened in some way. When our needs are met and we're not scared or upset, there's peace. 😊

@@patmaurer8541Stop listening to hippie sh-t. Most of nature would happily kill us if it had the chance. Domestic and feral “house” cats kill MILLIONS of animals a year. Not out of any need to survive. They do it just because they’re wired to do it.

@@HonouraryMember keep calm bro they got a lot of love food and big area they are living the best life with no matters
@@HonouraryMember stop your negativity. If this place doesn't have license, don't you think police will take it down immediately? Since she posted it online, surely cops also watch their phones. Plus those animals are not common and if the animal is being harmed, the many animal protection organizations will definitely hunt this place down. I'm also sure that tigers are just like cars, if you want to buy, you need a license for exotic animals and other stuff for it, so it's quite weird for people to just bought these tigers illegally and just start feeding them till they're chonky for no reason
@@HonouraryMember I agree they belong in nature but if they were drugged not only could you tell by their behavior but the government would have already shut the place down Do you think that for every video of humans playing with big cats? And if you don't think the same for a house cat then you are hypocritical at best house cats have only been domestic mated for about 250 years Thats not long enough for them to be fully domesticated by human standards unlike dogs who have been domesticated for almost one thousand years or more Thats why cats still act like their bigger wild siblings because they are far closer to them in behavior and thought than a domesticated animal is compared to their wild siblings like wolves and pet dogs

The coat of this cat is so beautiful
That is what grabs my attention first - his coat is SOOO smooth and nice. Well looked after kitty.
Sadly, Jaguars were nearly hunted to extinction because their beautiful coats were wanted by wealthy humans to wear as coats. I don’t care how much money someone paid me, there’s no way I could shoot and kill such a beautiful animal.
As soon as the sun hits it, I noticed the fur. Natural beauty. So smooth and nicely patterned.
I believe his mother made it.
This beautiful coat is called rosettes. They can be black, gold and is very pretty (most likely found on jaguars, and leopards)
