Bill Burr Tackles Hoax COVID Cures and Non-Binary Mr. Potato Head - Late Night with Seth Meyers

"The most offensive thing about Mr. Potato Head should be that he's STILL made of plastic." How is Bill Burr correct, sad, and funny at the same time? Genius!!!
Innit?!! 👍😊
wasn't Mr potato Head originally just potato Head and you could pick whatever you wanted it to be? 🤔
Such a great line
There was never any change to Mr potato head... you could always put a mustache and lipstick and do whatever you wanted... Fox News made it look like president Joe Biden and VP KAMALA HARRIS 💙 were in charge of the toy's gender... you know those idiots over at fox news blame the rain on the democrats...
Shelly Justice and the funny part is basically they aren’t all that different when it comes to policy…it’s bizarre
The way he can rant while remaining logical and without coming across as whiny. It's really not as easy as he makes it look. He's one of the few comedians that actually pulls it off.
Doesn't come across as whiny? lol, sure
>rant while remaining logical and without coming across as whiny. take a trip to NE they're a dime a dozen over there
Those rants are actually bits he created beforehand. Duh.
@@zax2004 Bill Burr is amazing. He does rants that are just hilarious. It def doesn't come off as whiny. It comes out as calling out absurd bs that most people just ignore. It's just hilarious.

Bill Burr is a goddamn American treasure. He can't stop being ingeniously funny for even half a second. What a great interview!
I've never seen geniusly spelled out before. Is it even a word?. If not we can make it one
@@alexreinhardt28 Neither had I, but I spoke it into my phone, and it typed it out! So I assume it must be one. If not, I agree with you 👍🏼
"ingeniously," peeps.
@@typezero8929 It’s interesting that your phone typed it! That may be because you’ve written it before. Smartphones adapt to your vocabulary, so if you repeatedly use a word with no obvious/easy typo to correct, your phone sometimes just adopts it. I would agree that “ingeniously” might be the closest “real” word. But I also think something like “astonishingly” or “prodigiously” might fit well! Words are fun. 😸 But ultimately, it’s fine to make up your own words; English is a living language that is constantly evolving. After all, even the word “upstairs” didn’t exist until the late 16th century and wasn’t used as a noun until the late 1800s.
@@princessaria I've actually never used that word before, and it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I couldn't think of ingeniously... lol. After I said it, I looked down at my phone expecting it to have typed something else, and I was surprised when it typed that! I guess a smart phone can be a dumb phone too 😜
Its great seeing Bill being interviewed by a host that knows when to just step back and let him go. Seth and Conan have figured out how to be both a presence without being a pothole

I wonder if this is just riffing off the top of his head? Bills a great interview.
And every once in a while I hear one joke that wouldve fit better in the 00s or maybe even the 90s and I'm like "oooh yikes....." but he steamrolls right over the problematic jokes with more comedy gold. I should note, hes been doing that less frequently lately
@@gulfmarine8857 Nah he usually just retells jokes from his old stand-ups and sometimes he tests new jokes that he plans on putting in his future shows. This is a scripted convo for the most part. Most of his live appearances are. The modern medicine/appendicitis joke for example is pretty old. He has told the exact same joke on Conan and in one of his stand-ups.

Hell Yeah, Terrific series.
Pretty sure that after five seasons - a certain number of episodes- they can syndicate it and watch the money roll in.
Netflix no doubt would refuse to do another season. They have morons in charge who believe that no show is good after 4-5 seasons. That's the main reason some successful shows on Netflix aren't renewed (like Santa Clarita diet for one example)

Why are you still making comments on youtube if we need to depopulate?
He had a bit about it years before covid.
One more for the books. I already knew Seth would be the one to continue the Bill Burr interview legacy that Conan started. No one else has the chops right now.
I quit years ago but still miss day drinking. Get up early, clean the house & do laundry, hit the liquor store when it opens for a bottle & a 12 pack, then park the car at home & walk to the corner bar when it opens for an extended "lunch". I'm better sober but when you drink every day you know how every day is going to end & that's not without appeal.
100% feel you there
Congratulations on your sobriety
Proud of you for your hard work!
Anyone who makes it out has my respect. All the best from Canada.
Yeah, I get that. During the lockdown, I was drinking an average of at least two bottles of wine a day, plus a bunch of beers, and it was kinda getting out of hand, so I decided to limit my drinking to three/four days a week (at least three days of nothing every week) and pretty much quit 50%. I've been doing that for about three months now, and it's going pretty okay - so good, actually, I might even extend the amount of weekly 'sober days', but for now it's working. Not saying you should pick up drinking again, of course.
Glad to hear Burr's take on population and plastic! But what was great was to hear Seth agreeing about the COVID/giving up/population. I'm not alone!!!!
Bill missed the part where the scientific community has and is being been censored over Covid issues and the most vaccinated countries are the sickest
@@lachlanscanlan5621 That is patently and manifestly false.
Too funny! As soon as Seth said “Grammy nominated…” I knew Burr would have something to say!
I love that this started as an interview and went into another tragically hilarious rant from Bill with Seth just dying laughing.
He is so frank and so funny. For example when he said he doesn't care about covid-19 vaccine deniers was brilliant because its true.
I stopped caring about them the day Trump was at a rally in Charleston, SC and said the virus was a hoax and they all CHEERED.... a bunch of dumbasses!
That's why you wouldn't want comedian as your leader. People in position of power and influence don't get this type of care free attitude. It isn't even Mr Potato head being changed. There's still a Mr Potato head. They're just re-naming the Mr potato head line of toys to Potato Head since there's a bunch of different kinds already. It's an even bigger nothingburger than the ridiculous outrage thought it was
Yeah, that was the part that annoyed me. It was just a company name being changed, the toys were still gendered. And yet somehow that sent people into an outrage spiral.
There was an "outrage" in the UK years ago after a nursery/kindergarten teacher changed the nursery rhyme "Ba Ba Black Sheep" to "Ba Ba Rainbow Sheep". She did this so she could teach the kids the colours of the rainbow but the maniacs said it was "political correctness gone mad".
right wingers will ruin anything... re this vid, i love seeing them get pissed off when Burr simply makes sane statements like saying how crazy anti-vaxx stuff is. they think bc Burr's known not to be the most PC comedian in the world that he's gonna be a psycho conservative. just like norm macdonald -- somehow republicans try to claim him even though he tweeted he's never once voted for a conservative, voted for Trudeau, and that Trump's "the biggest liar in US political history." Buncha chumps just mad that not a single decent comedian's a right-winger. But that ideology just isn't compatible w humor; hunorlessness is a salient tenet of conservtatism, in and of itself.
