YES
+Ian YYYUUUSSS!!!!!!!#Bill
BUY GOLD BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!
BUT ALL I GOT IS 10 BUCKS! NUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!
+Ian TIME IS DEAD AND MEANING HAS NO MEANING!!
The Spanish lyrics for the pink elephant song are as follows: ¨ They´re starting to parade, here they come, look how high they jump, maybe they are, relatives of Satan. ¨ And also. ¨ I that challenged the Devil, and his tail I ripped, the tricolor elephants, have made me loose all my courage. ¨ So much worse in Spanish I tell you.
edgy
Chimera ... ... ... That... Explains... So much...
Jesus. Sounds like a Rammstein song.
Hey, I´d love to hear Rammstein sing Pink Elephants.
I love it
Regarding Willy Wonka's Tunnel from Hell, there's actually a reason for it--or at least, there's a reason for why Gene Wilder (God rest him) was so weird in it. You see, Wilder was the only cast member who actually knew what was coming. All the others knew was that they were going on a boat ride. They had no clue what awaited them. So their reactions? 100% genuine. Same for when they first entered the factory, before the "Pure Imagination" song; nobody but Wilder had been told beforehand, so that they could capture real, undiluted joy and wonder from the cast. Hell, even the scene where we first SEE Wonka in person is the same deal. None of the cast had actually met Wilder before then, so when they saw him start falling, they were actually concerned.
So Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory was real and true COOL
Improv movie
What about the Oompa Loompas?
That just makes the movie even better!
That does not produce the *reason* for the scene, unto the story itself. The question is, for what, character development, or thematic, or revealing, or conceptual reason was there for it to exist to tell the storyline?
And then 8 years later he reviews Cool World.
mindlessgonzo 9:11 My reaction to Ellen DeGeneres playing as Dory the Forgetful Blue Tang in 'Finding Nemo/Dory'!
And also did dragons lair 2
this is why I love animation
+keimi aqlan Same. Animation is where literally anything could happen and people can express limitless amounts of freedom.
+Hounoru But some must use it wisely, not for the greater bad. Lol just was being sarcastic. Although, what you said is true about animation.
aqlan -ALSannor agreed, except Peewees playhouse isn't animated, nor is Willy Wonka. Out of curiosity, what would you say are the craziest animated moments of the 2000s and 2010s? I'm curious on what the kids of today are gonna be saying years later twisted their brains.
@@kylemorello4787 Animation today doesn't twist brains. Too conventional.
I can see since you love the Hotel Hazbin
20 years from now we're going to have a bunch of nostalgic people remembering Weirdmageddon.
lostfan10000 Yeah... It wasn't really a mindfuck.
@@coreylineberry8557 well..it kind of is..
@@coreylineberry8557 It had some mindfuck moments.
It would at least get an honorable mention in a list like this.
@@coreylineberry8557 It was more of a mindf*** than This is Halloween, which made the list.
The song is Greatest Show Unearthed - Creature Feature
Thanks
Oooo no wonder it sounded familiar
Oof I was just about to ask what it was, thx
What’s the video
This song is so good
10 years later, it's still my favorite Nostalgia Critic video. Also Toon Town scene never gets old, but my gosh it's so mind bleep.
You mean mind fuck?
Number Z…fastforward nearly 7 years later… DON BLUTH ON NOSTALGIA CRITIC
+Scott Sandler You want a little EXCITEMENT? *snap*
Scott Sandler I thought the same thing
At 13:46 I jumped at the sight of Nostalgia Critic's mask. No clue as to why that freaked me out so much.
"What?"
+Cheyenne McLean the mouth sticking and slowly releasing bothered me there.
Uncanny valley effect most likely.
+Cheyenne McLean I just lol'd at it, esp when that huge froglike mouth opened: "Wat?"
Even after I saw this comment, I jumped at it too.
The Beavis and Butthead scene's art style reminds me of Tony Hawk's American Wasteland
You mean Wasteland reminds you of that art style? Fun game btw
The singer of the Peewee's Playhouse theme is actually Cyndi Lauper :)
I guess that proves that girls really just wanna have fun and breathe helium.
Funny thing is that she was credited as Ellen Shaw.
Ahhh.. Back when the critic was a dank meme master. Trying too hard to get his fame. He calmed down and took a more subtle approach. AND THEN THE FANS FLEW TO IT IN DROVES. I still miss the big lipped alligator moments though.
+Shade Yang What the hell did that mean? Lol
+Nicholas Vladd Its a scene in a movie that come out of no ware its strange or bizzare and no one in the movie talk about it ever again
I still don't understand why it's called a "Big Lipped Alligator Moment"? Lol
+Nicholas Vladd Watch All Dogs Go to Heaven and you'll get your answer. :)
FUCKING BUBBLES!!!!!
I really think heffalumps and woozles should be on here!
I agree. I didn't know what to think of that scene when I was a kid.
I agree
I was thinking that too... But pink elephants is really similar
I think that can be lumped in with Pink Elephants
It is mostly a shot-for-shot remake of Pink Elephants.
The Cyriak animations were a nice addition to this video. Also, this is one of my personal favorite Nostalgia Critic videos.
Fun fact The weird animations during the transitions were all made by cyriak
what's with the infinite teddy bear transition 0_0
Shhhhhhhhhhhhh
I know, it makes me hungry.
+EVO6reviews .... Cyriak.. go watch him now!
+EVO6reviews It's a fractal animation. They can be really cool or highly disturbing.
+Karnera Mythos I looked up that term on Google Images, and some of them look pretty cool, though oddly hypnotic. XD
The pink elephants scared the sh*t out of me as a kid.
Joseph Womer Same O.O
15:35 R.I.P. Paul Reubens aka, Pee-Wee Herman (1952-2023)
I keep hearing that Tim Burton is handling a Dumbo remake, it would interesting to see how he would interpret the pink elephants scene.
who is johnny depp cast as?
Timothy the mouse
And Helena Boham Carter?
WHAT?!?!?!
How many nightmares will it created
The floor talks and also that is Cyndi Lauper singing the intro theme
What?! You must be kidding
He addressed that on one of his Top 11 F* Ups - the floor talking, I mean.
15:42 - "kids, this is crack" hahaha that was one of the greatest PSA's ever lol
anyone else get introduced to creature feature through this video? greatest show unearthed has been my jam ever since
The opening to Beetlejuice should be a ride at Universal Studios
@RELOAD Official no actually it's not
Cha-ching!
Cyndi Lauper sang the Pee-wee's playhouse theme song and since I was a kid she's always been my favorite singer
The floor was indeed a character in Pee Wee's playhouse in later seasons. Floory. The floor talked. It was hiding underneath Chairy the whole time. One episode PeeWee moves Chairy to do some cleaning and the floor, Floory, starts talking. Kinda like PeeWee's equivalent to the Itchy and scratchy's (from the Simpsons) Poochy.
OMG I thought Grinch night was just a hallucination I had as a child, since I never heard anything about it since I watched it once long ago.
Btw, that song he used is "The Greatest Show Unearthed" by Creature Feature
The stuff that's playing in the background behind the critic is stuff made by Cyriak Harris. (The maker of the infamous "Cows, cows and cows") He has a channel by the same name and has a lot of brianraping animations like that.
"Brianraping". Well, I'm glad my name isn't Brian.
+5carecrow94 yes... yes... how fortunate for You.
Brian Bullock Run for your life!
You mean brain right? Prepare your brianholes all you Brian's
+Tobias Hagström do you know what the name of the music playing when the top 11 starts or when he moves on to the next number?
Pink elephants scared the hell out of me as a kid, I watched dumbo in its entirety only once when I was four years old and ended up having nightmares for a month! D:
3:55 "Hello John" "Hello John" "Hello John"
7:41- Glad I was introduced to this film of insane visuals and concepts, it's very heartwarming in a classic, old-fashion way that you don't see nowadays.
The sum of these numbers is number *LSD*
2:39 Look at it long enough... IT STARES BACK.
9:40 I HAVE THAT PLUSH DOG. Also this is the part that made me die laughing for litteraly no reason. I guess I watching the video I was figuring out that my dad was asking me if I wanted soup and complementing me on my art so I guess soup compliments and "OMG ITS A GORILLA" combined = uncontrollable laughter
I thought he'd include the trippy chase scene from "The Thief and the Cobbler". I found the "Mindfuck" scene hilarious. XD
I loved Dumbo as a kid, and that pink elephant scene was certainly one of my favourite scenes :P
@2:15 Mickey: (Bleep) Pixar, I've got me some KH awesomeness!! I'm a King, Bunny!!
16:03, Nostalgia Critic's like "WHAT THE F**KAZOID?"
17:48 This gets me every time!
16:50 Morpheus in a cowboy outfit, yup that's the ultimate mindfck
7:30 Nostalgia Critic is magically transported to Australia
This is my favorite video of you, Critic. The carrot part had me in tears.
Came back to this after years and I just remembered this was what got me into Creature Feature. Still love "The Greatest Show Unearthed" to this day.
Saaaaaame! This was the first time I ever heard their music.
Just came back to this video because I forgot what the song was called. You dropped your cape, hero.
I remember the elephant scene as a kid. It never scared me, but I DEFINITELY felt uncomfortable… still do.
this was the very first nostalgia critic video i ever watched :D so glad to see how much the shows grown
The little song they sing at 8:45 has been stuck in my head for almost a whole week O.o It wont stop!
At 10:34 he says manson family but then quotes the theme song from the addams family
17:22 ELEPHANT!!!
9:02 my reaction to the real life inspiration of ANNABELLE
1:05 I actually had no idea where this song is from until I found that it was from Creature Feature...no regrets.
9:10 my favorite part of the video
well every single second is a mindfuck in this review
joseph myles and It's FITTING
16:18 actually, a crack in the floor did talk
I think he addressed that in a later video
I remember when I watched Dumbo, that I couldn't wait for the pink elephant part to end!
8:10 My reaction to Moto Moto 😨😰
Honorable Mentions have to be the Heffalumps sequence from one of the Winnie the Pooh episodes. If you do this list again Weirdmageddon from Gravity Falls has to make the top 5.
You could probably throw the entire Rick And Morty series on here, but that series is meant to be mind-fuckingly bizarre.
Raggedy Ann & Andy was one of my favorite movies growing up. It scared the shit out of me, but I liked the adventure.
Where'd you go? Where'd you go? What did you do and why? Tell us what you saw, dear Raggedy! We're so-oh-so curious we could die! Hooooooooooh-oh! (Weird eye roll thing)
Same... my neighbor had it on VHS and apparently it was the second movie she saw in the theater (the first being Star Wars.) I thought it was cool. She also had Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls and records and books... she liked girl things AND boy things. She's responsible for the way I am today :)
Maybe that's why we have Annabelle. The demon knew a Raggedy Ann doll would be terrifying.
The Cyriak footage in the background really adds to the feeling.
The greatest show unearthed. Awesome choice of list countdown music
My favorite top 11 video
Ahhhh... Creature Feature.
I loved the energy and passion in NC's earliest stuff.
I love that he featured animation by Cyriak. :D
Instead of calling it, "How the Grinch killed Horton," wouldn't a better title be, "Horton Hears His Last Who."? :P
@Henry K. Hill To each their own lol :)
13:58 JESUS FUCKING CHRIST DOUG.
Thanks for reminding me of all my nightmares. ALL OF THEM!!
It's really interesting watching that intro, and realizing how many of those scenes were animated by Cyriak.
Elephant! s! Elephant! s! Elephant! s! Elephant! s! Elephant! (thunk) I had my fun.
Some of this reminds me of The Yellow Submarine movie. (I'm surprised it wasn't in the list, by the way)
I thought it would be, surprised it wasn't.
Love that movie.
I guess he didn't include it because the obviously obvious choice is obviously obvious.
Another good one, the dream sequence from Heidi's Song. That has disturbed me even to this day
Definitely one of my favorite Nostalgia Critic episodes ever.
17:11 XD
5:36- Glad I was introduced to this short film through this list, it not only shows the most blatantly deranged side of the Seus world, but turns Grinch into a delightfully villainous ham than he already was.
If you guys wondering whats the song in the background during the countdown, it's called The Greatest Show Unearthed by Creature Feature.
This was and is still is my favorite Top 11
The second half of the End of Evangelion. Yeah that was insane. What an insane mindfuck that movie was.
what music is being used with that infinite teddy bear transition?
Creature Feature - The Greatest Show Unearthed
I love the lil link in the title. it just takes ya to random # vids.
i like how he's uploading his old videos just so we can watch this. I like his new ones to there funny but the old ones will always be a favorite classic of mine.
My favorite NC list. A well thought out assembly of titles and a perfect usage of Cyriak animation. P.S. ALL of Pee-Wee's Playhouse should be #1.
Still waiting for the Pink Floyd The Wall review.
+Daniel Martling The trial would be my #1 if I were to make a similar list.
We all are
+suzyr82 it would be top 3
+Daniel Martling first saw that when I was 15.......hoooleeeee hellll, I was *not prepared*
+suzyr82 agreed. Problem with Nostalgia Critic Pink Floyd The Wall is that he has to find stuff wrong with it.
Loved the Creature Feature at the beginning.
You know what's even scarier about Raggedy Anne? The real Annabelle doll, the one that's possessed, is a Raggedy Anne doll!!!!!!
1:16 Yep... I'm not seeing things... That *is* Godzilla on a hippity-hop.
13:10. He's a genius, that's what. He said so.
I love the song you used. It actually triggers my nostalgia, ironically.
R.I.P., Paul Reubens aka Pee-wee Herman (1952-2023).
Where'd you go? Where'd you go? What did you do and why? Tell us what you saw, dear Raggedy! We're so-oh-so curious, we could die! Ooooooooooooh-oh! *weird eye roll thing*
Still my favorite episode :D
Martine Lenders Mine too :)
At 13:25 just made feel very old right now because I remember seeing it in 3D with my mom and cousin when I was a kid I think I was in elementary or middle school
15:37 rest in peace Paul Reubens. ⚰
However from the TV shows/ movies, I think 'Courage the cowardly dog' should be up there on this list, it was absolutely weird But I think the most disturbing mind fucking thing i watched was a series called 'King star king'. Thankfully it never aired anywhere except the web...
King Star King aired on Adult Swim. It was horrible.
Pickle and Peanut: Hold my sanity.
This list definitely needs to have an extension due to all the mindf**k moments that have come out since this list was uploaded.
Pee Wee's playhouse was my show back in the days!!! just seeing the clips makes me want to watch it again. idk why but i want to.
1:04 - 1:28 One of my favorite old Nostalgia Critic moments.
6:53 .Is that the sea of holes?
The Willy Wonka Moment was awesome!
All I can say is a minute and a half in and I'm just happy with this video. Mainly because use the song The Greatest Show Unearthed by Creature Feature. I love that band. So Pop's ahead. Can't wait to see what you got
