It hits much more different when you understand the lyrics, get the message, and thoroughly watch the MV. Lovesick girls is sad in itself, though the upbeat music makes it seem like a song about a bunch of girls crushing over some guy. The MV is basically them each dying bc of their breakups. Jennie got into a car accident bc she wasn’t fully focused. Rosé drowned herself. Lisa jumped off a building. Jisoo tried to save them but when she realized it was all too late, she jumped off a cliff into a river (? That one might be wrong but it was something like that). Lovesick girls is about suicide. It’s sad even without all the editing and stuff. Although, I really appreciate and love this version. Thank you. (Not all my words might be facts, I heard most of it through a friend of mine.)

@@joejoe1695 Yeah and I think it makes it more beautiful too : the fact that it is a sad song with a pop beat and when you look at the lyrics you can see the same thing going on, the lyrics are sad but still have a touch of positivity. It means a lot 😢

OMG I THOUGHT OF A SCENE This part: 2:33 Rose singing in a field of flowers and lays down suddenly the flowers all die and be brown ( 2:39) and at 2:40 she sits up crying and transitions into Jisoo. Jisoo stands up holding a flower, it dies in her hand and she throws it to the side at 2:46 when they all sing. Hope this is good I just thought of it and wanted to share💝
