He threw Ricciardo under the bus to the press (after a race where Ricciardo's car was broken, which McLaren hid), issued team orders in Norris' favour regularly, including at Ricciardo's home race where he was faster, shopped Ricciardo's seat around behind his back, told Piastri that Ricciardo knew he was being signed (spoiler alert...he didn't), told the press Ricciardo was staying, got Ricciardo to stand up in front of the whole team and make a tearful speech affirming his commitment, and then sacked him, all while letting the media absolutely tear Ricciardo to shreds.

Although 2022 wasn't as good as 2021, it still had many entertaining races and loads of drama which this trailer showed in abundance, can't wait to live it again in time for the new season!

2022 was pretty boring tho. The stuff outside of the actual racing was also not entertaining but giving the sport a bad name...

Who says he won't come back to f1? I think teams can look at him as a possibility like if Fernando leaves f1, or checo contract ends in 2026. Hell this one is a bit farfetched but if lewis leaves and Danny can prove he is a good driver they can have him in Mercedes (it's a longshot tho) if some people say that he could go to Alphatauri replacing nyck if he isn't performing. But I'm sure the 2023 season we will not see him in dts at all

I attended my first gp last year, when alonso was p2 in montreal, i was sitting 20 feet away from where they held the driver interviews after... I saw lots of cameras i really hope i can find myself in the crowd on the netflix show! that would be so funny

Netflix is doing to Formula one what HBO did to boxing. Making us care about the actual person and not just the athlete adds a more complex and in-depth racing experience for the viewer.
Yeah watching the races is something but seeing behind the scenes and the interviews with drivers makes it more special

brruhh 1 min into the trailer and 2 things are catastrophically hilarious 1. Checo takes a walk around the track in Bahrain, and the two Ferraris (who were ahead of him) are magically turning in on him 2. Zhou flicks the steering wheel for no reason mid air, during is air-born crash (also how does netflix manage to fool the viewers every season of DTS)

they better have an episode dedicated to Sebastian's departure, an episode for the underdogs - Perez, Sainz and George Russel, an episode for Leclerc and Ferrari, an episode for the mcleren's and alpine's driver seat Drama (Daniel Ricardo being sacked and also Mick Schumacher) and finally the battles - non edited even if they are in the back of the grid [leclerc, perez and lewis in silverstone], Kevin magnisun and seb, mick and lewis, etc. Hope this season is better than season 4. Season 1-3 were so good. Season 4 was a miss tho... it didn't really cover F1. it covered lewis vs max or redbull vs Mercedes. I mean how can someone include the episode where ocon won and not include Fernando vs Lewis. Fingers Crossed!
The problem was that the 2021 season was too fantastic to display in only 10 episodes. But I agree that they made the almost worst selection to fit it. Russia's GP with Lando losing grip in the wet track in the last turns was insane.
