I have been In Ventosilla 3 times, in all of them I´ve had an awesome day. It´s a feeling I can´t express with words u have to live it to understand it. Beautifull landscape, magical partridges and an awesome experience, I really recommend u visiting it at least once In your life, you won´t regret!!
We couldn't agree more Jose! This is indeed one of the most exclusive partridge shoots in Spain, not to say in the world. It's much more than the shooting: History, culture, hospitality, food and the people who run this place are second to none!
I am curious about why the birds are continously coming from behind of the hill are they migrating or someone is flushing them from there?please answer.
Thanks for your comment! Partridges are not migratory birds like many Waterfowl species. There's a full team of beaters walking with dogs and horses flushing the partridges from a long way behind the hill.

Good point! Although they do get sold and processed... In Spain you can find many meat products that are partridge-based on supermarket shelves, specially in Toledo.

Mr. Swain, Sometimes we host beginners, but as long as they are safe shots, everybody is welcome to learn this amazing tradition! You would be surprised by how they are performing now!
