He failed to be the number one. He was a great companion to Messi. He went to psg and instantly became a villain fighting with Cavani. At some point he lost focus on the game and just wants to party.

@@none_the_less I've been told by people working in hotels he actually checks in in hotels as Donatello. So that might be friendly. On the other hand the carnival for sure. I remember him being in Brazil while psg was playing versus Marseille, one of two or three games psg needs the whole squad for the ligue 1.

For me Neymar is one of those players that can be fantastic in a great team but never makes a team great. For some reason certain players seem to adapt to their surrounding players level and for me Neymar is such player.

Ignoring the injuries, I think his career downfall started when he joined PSG for the money.
What happened to neymar that he played at the highest level of game showed one of the most beautiful way of playing and after playing decades hes aging and hence retiring lest be honest not all good player can have longituvity like CR7 he has a normal athletes health and comparing to someone like CR7 whose still physically strong at 36 is not fair even at their prime many players were not as healthy as CR7 during his wrost time

I don't know why people expect like he was a successor of FCB or Just Football in General. The dude is Talented. But considering Messi is just 3-4 years older than him speaks a lot that he cannot be. In Football to be a successor you gotta be 10+ Year Younger at least.

he was supposed to be one of the best ever, but he´s not unfortunately. Watch his highlights at santos and barça, that was a world class player. Unfortunately and not surprisingly for us brazilians, his bad decision making had him going downhill since he joined PSG
@@lucaseduardo9097 like I said, he was a quality player who had world class periods but I never understood how some people talked like he was going to go down next to Messi and Ronaldo as literally a top 5 player of all time. Being world class on its own doesn't make you one of the absolute best of all time.

I will keep saying this, that move to PSG was ill advised and I know I'm right about it because after less than 2 years of him leaving Barcelona, he was open to returning and reuniting with Messi at Camp Nou. Early on when he made the move I actually gave it a chance and thought, well, he could elevate his stature at PSG and probably surpass Messi and Ronaldo to become the best in the world especially considering he was younger than them. Then it turned out he moved away from Messi's shadow to be at Mbappe's shadow He became a party animal. Injuries didn't help either. I still love Neymar. MSN gave me memories I will never forget. One wrong move in football could alter a player's trajectory to greatness. Rafael Leao should avoid PSG
neymar is my favorite player of all time after messi him and messi are the reason i started supporting fc barcelona in 2014/15 (yes i started watching football regulery in 2014 at the start of 2014 world cup to be exact i was 15 at the time and being at that age i was falling in love with messi and neymar's skill they i didnt care for football that much before but when i started watching them i fell in love with football) messi is obvioulsy my favorite but neymar for me is second so he has a special place in my heart at the time i thought neymar would succeed messi in barcelona and bring us another ucl or 2 at least but man was i so wrong that psg transfer broke me i still think about it till this day.

It's very simple he's Brazilian. Brazilians tend to have a lot of talent and simply don't reach the peak of it. Even players like Ronaldinho as good as they were they never reached their absolute prime. However, in Brazil this game is very cultural and very fun to play. Like any other job even though you might love it it doesn't necessarily mean that you want to do it forever.

Enough with the prince who never became king BS😂 He is not even top 10 amongst footballers born between 1985 and 2000. Besides Messi and Ronaldo, there is KDB, Griezmann, Kante, Mahrez, Muller, Mbappe, Suarez, Benzema, Lewa, Aguero and even Hazard or Rooney are ahead of him in terms of longevity or trophy cabinet. His 2017 3rd place ballon do'r finish was pure PR.
