I was born in the orthodox Catholic Christian family in communist Poland. The Islamic culture have been foreign to me for a very long time until I met a friend who is Muslim in the university. I have visited many countries where Allah is worshiped. I am amazed by the hospitality and sincerity of the people. I am amazed by the beauty of the architecture. Foremost, I am amazed by the depth of faith Muslim people have. Allah bless all the people living on our beautiful planet. Thank you PBS for making this amazing documentary. I have read the hafs quran and some of the hadiths and found the following very disturbing about Mohammed and his allah: - Islam teaches that child marriage is OK which implies child rape (Surah 65:4) which is evil. And Mohammed of course led by example when he raped a 9 year old little girl. - Islam teaches that it is OK for a husband to beat his wife (Surah 4:34) which is evil. - Islam teaches that it is OK to use women captured in war to be used and sold as sex slaves (Surah 33:50) which evil. - Islam teaches that Christians and Jews must be fought until they have been killed (murdered) unless they submit to Islam and agree to be oppressed second class citizens in the own country (Surah 9:29) which is evil. - Verily those who believe not [in Islam], among those who have received the scriptures [Jews and Christians], and among the idolaters, [shall be cast] into the fire of hell, to remain therein [for ever]. These are the worst of creatures.

So tell me, which Arabic version of the quran do you use and why that one? Or do you not even know that there are some 40 different versions of the Arabic quran we know of? Of course all these qurans were written by unknown authors. And how do you deal with all the mistakes, discrepancies, inconsistencies and contradictions in that quran as well as the approval of evil such as raping women who have been captures in battle (surah 33:50) which is adultery and wife beating (surah 4:34) as well as child marriage (surah 65:4) which means that Mohammed and his allah approved of raping little prepubescent girls. And we see that Mohammed led by example when he married a 6 year old child and then raped that child when it was just 9 years old. Clearly Mohammed disqualified himself as a prophet of GOD by the evil he perpetrated. And remember all of islam is only based what Mohammed maybe recited and how he lived. So tell me, why do you believe that following Mohammed will get you to be with GOD in heaven on judgement day my friend? And remember on judgement day there will be ONLY heaven where GOD is or the other place, so where does that leave you my friend?

Great video and thank you for your efforts. Please make a correction @ 2.26. Prophet Muhammad did not begin teaching Islam 1400 years ago. This is a common mistake most people make. Islam was not found 1400 years ago rather Islam exists from day one of human existence starting with Adam. From an Islamic standpoint, Islam is a continuation of the same message that was revealed to Adam, Moses, Noah, Abraham, Jesus and other major Prophets mentioned in the Quran. Prophet Muhammad was the seal on all Prophets who renewed the message which was revealed to previous prophets and completed it.

Is it IDOLATROUS to prostrate and pray in the direction of the blackstone (Hajr e aswad)? Muslims will say they do not worship the black stone, that it is only an object of devotion, love and care. But by whatever word, for all intents and purposes, it IS an idolatrous object. Why? Moses warned about the idolatry of bowing to a stone image: “Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to BOW down unto it: for I am the LORD your God." Leviticus 26:1 Is the stone just an item of honor, respect and adoration that is of no benefit? How come the claim is that it was white as milk but became black because of the sins of the sons of Adam? How come Muhammad said, “By Allah! On the Day of Qiyaamah (judgment), Allah will present the Hajr e Aswad in such a manner that it will have two eyes and a tongue to testify to the Imaan (faith) of all those who kissed it.” (Tirmidhi) Secondly, the blackstone imitates the divine attributes of Jesus Christ the Son of God, which makes the blackstone BLASPHEMOUS. What is the coincidence that at the very least, 4 titles of Jesus known centuries and millenia earlier are EXACTLY as those TRANSFERRED to the blackstone (Haji e aswad) which Muhammad began to idolize in the 7th century. JESUS CHRIST 1. Jesus is referred to as the CORNER STONE of the church [Ephesians 2:19-21] 2. Jesus EXPIATED sins. He atoned for our sins [Mark 2:5-7] 3. Jesus is seated on the 'RIGHT HAND ' of God [Luke 23:69 4. He is the VISIBLE image of the INVISIBLE God [Colossians 1:15] BLACKSTONE 1. It is positioned as a CORNER STONE 2. It EXPIATES SINS (Atonement).[al-Bukhaari, 4987] 3. Muhammad called the Hajr e aswad 'yamin-Allah' (THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD!). 4. It is the VISIBLE IMAGE of the INVISIBLE Allah. When one recites (pointing to/kissing/touching it) the takbir "Allahu Akbar", one is making an pact of allegiance (Bay'ah) to Allah. I do sympathize with Muslims for struggling to come to terms with the selfless and glorious act of laying down his life for the sins of many. After all, Allah never knew about the sacrificial system practiced after Abraham for the forgiveness of sins because he is ignorant about the Passover Feast and the Day of Atonement. Whereas God instructed Moses to build a tabernacle (where the Israelites celebrated the day of Atonement annually by slaughtering a lamb for the atonement of sins, Allah's imposter of Abraham went on to build an IDOLATROUS Kaaba where one could kiss a stone to have their sins atoned or "expiated" [al-Bukhaari, 4987] The Hajr e aswad is an ABOMINATION through which billions of Muslims everyday are misled to commit IDOLATRY and BLASPHEMY against the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

I thought I should, with love and truth, share with you these three brilliant prophetic posts on the curious case of the true Gog and Magog, the Mahdi and the real Dajjal, which will shine a light on the deception in high places and how that impacts on our choices and lives now and hereafter. Do a simple COMPARISON TEST: the concept of Antichrist or Al-Maseeh Al-Dajjaal is CORRUPTED from Revelations 13, the fictional prophecy of Gog and Magog subhuman tribes trapped behind a wall is CORRUPTED from the 3000 year old prophecy of Gog and Magog from the book of Ezekiel 38-39 to Qur'an 18:94-101 and Sahih al-Bukhari 7135)), the prophecy of drying up of the Euphrates river is CORRUPTED from Revelations 16:12 to Sahih al-Bukhari 7119). The prophecy of the Beast from the Earth or Dābbat al-Arḍ is CORRUPTED from Revelations 13:10-18 to Qur’an 27:82 and (Sunan Ibn Majah 4066 and Musnad Aḥmad 22309). The Islamic Armageddon is a corruption of the Armageddon of Revelations 16:14-16]. Don't take my word for it, verify for yourself. According to Islamic traditions Muhammad interacted with Christians and Jews while in Mecca. Can a book written EARLIER copy from the one written 6 centuries LATER? No. What is remarkable about the book of Revelations is that it is not one of the books CLAIMED to be sent by Allah of the Qur’an. Interestingly, there are many unproven claims of corruption of the Bible but no evidence of this has been brought forward up to this day. It seems like the only hard "evidence" is that it contradicts the Qur'an (witnessed by one source) or was translated, although it is the Qur'an which contradicts the Bible (witnessed by many sources over many generations and all referring to the Messiah, who exists in eternity, has sovereign power and will rule in his eternal heavenly kingdom forever). Translation is hardly any proof of corruption. Until the Bible can be proven to be false, it is the later Qur'an which contradicts (not corrects) the Bible. Christians are certain that the angelic being who visited Muhammad in the cave was not the angel Gabriel but Satan himself disguised as an angel of "light" and "righteousness" (2 Corinthians 11:14-15) come to contradict the message of the apostles and the prophets through his deceptive religion of "good deeds", among which deeds are idolatrous and an abomination. You may already be thinking that perhaps the Qur'an/Muhammad was "correcting corrupt prophecies" from the book of Revelations. Problem is: the Qur'an CLAIMS that Allah sent the Torah and Gospels to the Jews and Christians BUT the book of Revelations is NOT among the 4 books of the Gospels "sent by Allah", you see. Corruption IS deception because it makes you believe a lie to be truth and what is truth to be a lie. If the Bible is corrupted, so what was the Messenger (considered illiterate by Muslims) hearing and learning from the book of Revelations not sent by Allah?? (a book which Muslims would claim to have been written by either anonymous men, the Greek or the Romans??) What this has shown is that Bible prophecy is the original real deal. let's be consistent; we can't now do mental gymnastics and say the prophecies from the book of Revelations were sent by Allah of the Qur’an.
3. Who then will be a GOG and MAGOG FOLLOWER? Could YOU be deceived into being a FOLLOWER? Here is a strong reason why you are unaware that you will be his follower. Could Gog be associated with is Antichrist? Gog IS the Antichrist. The true definition of Antichrist is first ever used in the Gospels (which, if you believe the Qur'an, are confirmed as the eternal and unalterable (incorruptible) word of Allah and which Christians "have with them" (IN THE 7TH CENTURY) and should judge themselves by: (QS 18:27, 5:43, 5:47, 3:3-4, 6:115 and 7:157). It's the Qur'an's dilemma. According to the Gospels, the Antichrist and his followers are those who deny that Jesus is the Son of God (as stated in the Jewish scriptures such as Daniel 7:13-14 and Isaiah 9:6) and is ONE with the father: "Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is ANTICHRIST who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also." [1John 2:22-23] If you deny that Jesus is the Son of God, the spirit of antichrist already dwells in you. (1 John 4:3) It is therefore a fact of life that the theology of the Qur'an and Islam is openly antichrist as it DENIES-6 CENTURIES AFTER THE EVENT and against the testimony of his Mother, Mary and the disciple John who were with him on the cross-that Jesus Christ was crucified (QS 19:91-92) and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God (QS 4:157) To be Antichrist is to IMITATE and/or be against Christ. IF Islamic endtimes is fulfilled, AL Mahdi, whom Muslims are longing for, will be an IMITATION of Jesus the Messiah in the sense that he is regarded as a sort of "Messianic figure" "deliverer" or "savior" (and whom hadiths claim will bring to an end the struggle between Haq and Baatil and bring "peace and Justice" to the world). The MAHDI will be the ANTICHRIST because he will deny, as the Qur'an (QS 4:171) does, the Gospel message that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and he (the Mahdi) will be granted power to make war (QS8:12) with those who do not believe in his god, Allah [such as Christians (saints)] and will overpower them (Revelations 13:7). The slain Christians will be received up in heaven with glory for refusing to take the Mark of the beast (pledge allegiance to the ANTICHRIST) and they will "reign with Christ" (Revelations 20:4). IT'S A SATANIC DECEPTION: the Mahdi WILL BE the ANTICHRIST who will bring "fitnah" and great tribulation to the world, not the fictional one-eyed Dajjal! IT'S A PERFECT FIT: In Bible prophecy, there are THREE figures who will deceive the world in the end times: 1. SATAN (who has for long been disguised and worshipped as the ONE God) 2. ANTICHRIST (first beast) 3. False Prophet (second beast) [NOTE: in Bible terms, a beast is a personality who has rule over the world] What Bible prophecy says the three [SATAN (the DRAGON), 1st BEAST (Antichrist) and the 2nd BEAST (False Prophet)] will do in the end times is EXACTLY what Islamic eschatology teaches ALLAH, the MAHDI and PROPHET ISA will do in the end times According to the original prophecy, in the last 7 years of the world, Satan (the DRAGON) will give the Antichrist/beast/Gog 'his power, and his seat, and great authority' [Rev13:2], by giving him the backing of a 10 nation confederacy (Magog). The False Prophet will help the Antichrist. The Antichrist will claim to bring peace (Daniel 9:27) but it will be a deceptive and short-lived peace after which they will invade Israel. Likewise, IF Islamic end times is fulfilled, the Caliph (Al Mahdi) and his Caliphate/world government/alliance of nations)] will have great power and authority for 7 years (Sunan Abi Dawud) 4286. It will be an Islamic confederation of Middle East nations (but not limited to the Middle East). They will claim to bring "peace and justice" and will carry out their god's desire to invade and plunder Israel-God's chosen nation (Ezekiel 38:11-23 and Revelations 16:14-16)]. Prophet Isa of the Qur'an is the imposter of Jesus Christ because Isa fails to match any ONE prophecy of the Messiah from the Old Testament Jewish scripture. The Islamic Armageddon is a corruption of the Ezekiel prophecy which is about a massive war against Israel by neighboring nations that ends in ISRAEL'S salvation (Ezekiel 39), and NOT a story of a massive war against the MUSLIMS (by a fictional one-eyed Al-Maseeh Al-Dajjaal and his fictional large army of Jews) that ends in the salivation of Muslims! Then at the end of the battle with (Gog and Magog), Israel will live in peace: “Then those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and bucklers, the bows and arrows, the javelins and spears; and they will make fires with them for seven years. Ezekiel 39:9 But Islam corrupts this 3000 year old prophecy about Israelites and makes it about Muslims when in fact Ezekiel 38:8 states who those who dwell in the cities of Israel are. This is a text book case of deception: Sunan Ibn Majah 4076 It was narrated from Nawwas bin Sam'an that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "The Muslims will use the bows, arrows and shields of Gog and Magog as firewood, for seven years.'" According to the book of Revelations (13:11-18 and 19:20), the ANTICHRIST/Gog/the beast will be helped by a FALSE PROPHET. BOTH Jesus (the Son of God) and the FALSE PROPHET will appear (Revelations 19:20) but on opposite sides. This explains why in the hadiths the Mahdi will be helped by Prophet Isa (a false version of Jesus Christ) against what is claimed to be a one-eyed Dajjal. Prophet Isa will NOT fight the fictional one-eyed Dajjal. It's a fantasy. Rather, the satanically inspired Gog and his forces, with the help of the (uncrucified) FALSE Prophet Isa, will fight against and be defeated by Jesus Christ the Son of God in the FINAL BATTLE or Armageddon. "These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of Lords, and King of Kings.. From breathtaking cinematography to the compelling stories of the pilgrims, this might be one of the best documentaries that I have ever watched. As as a non Muslim who has studied this religion for a quite while now, and Arabic as well, I have to say that many of facts mentioned were on point, and that it was a right choice to focus on the amazing level of transcendentalism and spirituality Islam offers. The stories of these pilgrims and the level of spirituality one experiences upon entering Al Masjid Al Haraam was so truthfully told that I almost started crying when they showed the Kaaba. I can only imagine what it feels like for a practicing Muslim to see the Kaaba for the first time. An object that you have been praying thousands of times towards for decades, where a part of your brain probably did not even believe that this object existed out there somewhere. But, once you see it, it is almost as if all that struggle and hassle of praying five times a day, washing yourself, fasting, was well worth it. Almost a feeling of relief and completeness. I hope we non Muslims will be able to see it one day, and may God’s blessings be upon you wherever you are ❤️🕋

I saw men lie in bed for 12 weeks and get served everything by their wife right after their wife had given birth to a baby. I have also seen Imams, policemen and other men of high influence stealing poor kids for batcha basi, which not only takes place today in Afghanistan, but also in Pakistan and Iran. You call me "sister", which I am not. And I also would not want a brother, who approves such actions.

There are few misconceptions in this documetry which i would like to clarify. the Muslim rulers of Spain or Muslims never compared Alhamra Palace with paradise nor they ever claimed such a thing. The Quranic reference to paradise do point towards gardens and springs but it does not mean that the architecture of Alhamra Palace was inspired from Quran. As muslim we beleive that there is nothing comparable to the paradise that has been promised to pious and righteous.
I am a Muslim architect. I didn't see the documentary yet but I read your comment . Some architecture elements were inspired by the philosophical or theological aspect of islam and Quran. Muslim architect used these inspiration in desiging gardens , house courts (called reyad رياض_ روضة in North Africa and it means gardens in heaven ), and other buildings like mosques and schools. Even the geometrical designs are inspired by quranic verses where Allah says to the beilivers to look at heavens and stars to witness his creations and greatness.

The architecture has nothing to do with their religion. In fact, architecture is not mentioned in their belief system. When the followers of this belief system invaded foreign lands they adopted the local architecture. Classic example is the Taj Mahal, it has been portrayed as Islamic but it is in fact Hindu architecture. If you doubt it then simply find out by researching architecture in the Coran...you will find there's no mention of it.

Is it IDOLATROUS to prostrate and pray in the direction of the blackstone (Hajr e aswad)? Muslims will say they do not worship the black stone, that it is only an object of devotion, love and care. But by whatever word, for all intents and purposes, it IS an idolatrous object. Why? Moses warned about the idolatry of bowing to a stone image: “Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear you up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to BOW down unto it: for I am the LORD your God." Leviticus 26:1 Is the stone just an item of honor, respect and adoration that is of no benefit? How come the claim is that it was white as milk but became black because of the sins of the sons of Adam? How come Muhammad said, “By Allah! When I visited al Al Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem, as soon as I spotted the area from the gate, I felt like collapsing on my knees. I felt the holiness of the place. It was so pure and felt I’m full of sin. I visited all the other holy places in Jerusalem, but never experienced this feeling.
