You should also remember, that cryocopter can be upgraded by advanced technologies and aeronotics and Chopper VX by a Missle upgrade, whereas Twinblades remain as they are

You can "upgrade" them with "Mass Production" in a way, allowing you to have more of them for less cash.

Twinblades also hit every 8 seconds, but you can unload all your rockets in one second then leave. A few can burst down an out of position tank and run off, something cryocopters would take some damage for trying to do.

@@pavelhristov1999 VX/Cryo can have these upgrades as their first protocol and Twinblades have to wait for 5 protocol points, which is impractical in multiplayer. And most Soviet players choose the orbital drop lane, not the mass production lane which has the useless desolator airstrike.

This is not even a downside due to hidden Allie mechanics which let almost all of their units to have almost pin-point accurate aim on shrunken targets. Twinblades can't even dream to engage Bullfrogs/area contested by Apolo, be it as a sacrificial goat for strategic forced trade. Cryo's simply don't give a F, Apolos and Hydrafoils can only stare at them as they face tank their volley for 15 seconds and then scuttle out at max speed.

One of the main advantages of twinblades is that they are the most independent. All three helicopters need the help of interceptor fighters, but VX helicopters also need help in the fight against air defense infantry, cryocopters generally need the help of at least someone so that they don’t freeze the enemy in vain, and the twinblades will calmly cope with most threats on their own, although with air defense guns they have some difficulties. How about comparing as much as possible the infantry of the second tier (Tesla trooper, spy, shinobi)?

I'd say Twinblade is best for Mass production perk. Because 5 Twinblade can easily destroy buildings as well as other heavily armored units such as tier 3 tanks. Also Twinblades are effective against both infantry and armored units since it fires both bullets and rockets. VX kinda looses against AA units like Flack troopers or Javilin Soldiers. Also VX are easy to get flanked. You can harass VX on both air and ground. Since it's rockets are not effective against units and fast moving targets like dogs or Terror drones. Also VX is tier 2 so requires extra upgrade to produce. Cryocopter is defenseless units means anyone can harass. Both VX and Cryocopters require defending unit to get into action while Twinblades usually comes to do the assault in certain fights. Twinblades are awesome to do rushes or suicide runs to destroy certain buildings or if it comes to defense. Only threats they face in action is MiG, Apollo and Mecha-Tangos. When they are in mass they can be quiet unstoppable.

Striker VX is always good vs Armor and Buildings and fares terribly vs infantry. Twinblades are like all purpose damage dealing support aircraft. It can fare well on its own. Good vs all to be honest and I like spamming this unit a lot. Now Crycopters The most broken unit in RA3. Theyre maybe just support units but their value scales way far than many ordinary player thinks. Like Shrinking the Apocalypse Tank and can be crushed by normal tanks. Or Shrinking a King Oni on a Bull Charge, the King Oni will die if it hits a building or a large vehicle. Or Shrinking a Riptide with Tanya and Engineers to quickly destroy or disable a base?! How about Freezing your units and buildings and theyre all 1 hit K.O.? Nah its " BALANCED"!! What else?! Its limitless!!

With Advanced Rocket pods, those Striker VXs will shoot their missles way faster and deals more damage. High Technology on Cryocopters will only have effect on shrink beam ( I think). Advanced Aeronautics will just make it more durable.

Twinblades are just good, all around useful and hard to go wrong with. Cryocopters can be very OP, but require a good skill, they are not something you can spam. VX have interesting ability, but for me their low speed and weak armor makes them the worst of choppers.

Indeed but I like using VX to handle anti air and armour,And make them patrol,Cryo copter,love paring them with a Assault Destroyer and a IFV or Riptide and hydrofoils,Twinblades, essential for killing enemies like yuriko omega and crowds of anti air infantry, versatile combat helicopter,and can carry most standard infantry and tanks,so good for sneak attacks,and hit and runs while dropping of a V4 behind enemy bases.

VX: Versatile, good against armored targets and structures, weak against infantry, slow, not so durable. Twinblade: Powerful rocket barrages which those strong against anything and suitable to hit and run tactics, disposes infantry fast, more durable than VX but cannot attack aerial targets so less versatile in terms of attack but can transport infantry / vehicle, faster than VX. Cryocopter: Can disable / make vulnerable any ground or sea unit, fast as twinblade and faster than VX, the most durable helicopter, lacks destructive / killing power on its own, special support unit, cannot attack aerial targets.

Cryo is basically if you combined twinblade's anti-infantry effectiveness and 3/4 of a striker/chopper's anti-vehicle (4/3s total) damage bred together. Basically it's an average helicopter in damage output when compared to the other heli's specialty, but it's an all rounder at the cost of potentially over-freezing and it doesn't switch targets to non-frozen one on it's own (that's a lot of micro ontop of targetting frozen guys) And gave it a shrink beam that makes (vehicles only) one ennemy unit half as strong and have less range, be crushable by any vehicle. Then make it 1/3 more expensive. It's usefull as the pro scene shows, though not as OP as some think, but delayed by the tier 2 cost.

Twinblades + Transport, carrying 5 infantries or 1 vehicle + Can be iron curtained when built or when dropping + Can be force landed to save them from AA units + In massive numbers, it's a hit and run base destruction machine + 3 Heroic rank Twinblades destroys everything quickly. + One of the best Soviet units. - Rockets reload way too long - The transport system is either or, Meaning that you can only lift vehicle or only carry infantries. ~ Still, the Nod Venoms are better since they can attack air units but hey, it's a different game. Cryocopter + Best allied unit. + Frozen enemies are instantly turned into a 1 shot, stunned unit + Shrink Ray can make an MCV crushable even with your harvester, or making a tank's HP low enough that a javelin can destroy a hammer tank in 2 barrages. - No self defense. - Must be accompanied by an AA army like IFVs loaded with Javelins or just IFVs alone with nothing inside them - Must bring something to destroy the frozen stuffs. VX + The only one of these that can attack air units in the Striker form + When threatened by air units, it can transform to dodge it's fire, or even kill the fighter. + Insane DPS in massive numbers with the Advanced Rocket Pods upgrade - Expensive as hell - Transformation have a long cooldown - Striker form cannot shoot while moving, unlike Bullfrogs and IFVs.

Twinblade and bulldog combo is versatile against everything except AA defense, great in numbers and Kirovs as tanks or ground units Cyro copter is actually OP, very high health and if frozen it any unit can one shot the enemy VX is meh, Tengu is better

The VX is a nightmare to deal with though. The fastest response to a helicopter swarm is to scramble fighters, and their transformation completely counters that. You have to ground them with fighters and then hope ground units arrive in time.

Can you transport bullfrog with infantry in Twinblade and also will Twinblade pickup both transport and infantry if both transport and infantry get simultaneus order to get in tp the vehicle, will it get both ?

Cryocopter: Has the most HP and is the most expensive. It can't kill units on its own so it does require more skill to use properly than the other two. Use correctly it is deadly since its freezing takes effect very quickly. Its SHRINK beam can allow easier kills since shrunken units take less time to freeze. VX: Has the most anti-tank firepower on its own, though it's also the slowest. Since it can transform it can go to Striker Mode to avoid AA air units. That said, Strike Mode makes it the worst AA unit since it can't fire while moving away from its target while also costing and being higher on the tech tree than the IFV and Bullfrog. Twinblade: Packs weapons to deal with anything on the ground though it's rockets have a long cooldown time so it helps to mindful of when they will fire. It has a lot of utlity as raiding, anti armor, and as a transport. In practice most players find the Cryocopter to be the most useful if you can micro it properly. As long as you have something like a Vindicator to knock out whatever they freeze then most anything they come across will die. Its SHRINK Beam renders enemies even easier to freeze while the speed boost can allow you to use Prospectors to expand into areas you wouldn't be able to otherwise. Plus it can benefit from Advanced Aeronautics and High Technology.

Каратели хороши, чтоб прилететь, одним ракетным залпом снести постройку и улететь (удобно будет против империи снести завод/додзе/верфь, чтоб при след постройке необходимо было опять повышать уровень)

Мне вобще нравится техника ссср она практична опасна крута в некотором роде банальна да и кто муже если так подумать (поймут токо те кто играл в 1-3 часть) она проверена временем ну теже танки молот... или каратель который во 2 части с юрием ну и вдобавок все же каратель транспортное средство эфективный в толпе и против пехоты

Twinblades (aka flying tanks) made the game so unbalanced. They demolish Tech 3 infantry, tanks, structures, at a unfairly fast past. They're also cheap to build, travel fast, can carry tanks or infantry, and are build-able at the beginning of the game. Those, and Rocket Angels, should've never been included in the game. You literally spam those, and the entire map is secure. But meh, its 12+ year old game, and the worst C&C ever made. So yeah, who cares i guess.

Striker VX is always good vs Armor and Buildings and fares terribly vs infantry. Twinblades are like all purpose damage dealing support aircraft. It can fare well on its own. Good vs all to be honest and I like spamming this unit a lot. Now Crycopters The most broken unit in RA3. Theyre maybe just support units but their value scales way far than many ordinary player thinks. Like Shrinking the Apocalypse Tank and can be crushed by normal tanks. Or Shrinking a King Oni on a Bull Charge, the King Oni will die if it hits a building or a large vehicle. Or Shrinking a Riptide with Tanya and Engineers to quickly destroy or disable a base?! How about Freezing your units and buildings and theyre all 1 hit K.O.? Nah its " BALANCED"!! What else?! Its limitless!!
Cryocopter needs a lot of skills to use effectively. They are like those boss characters in fighting games. They are ridiculously hard to use but murders everyone in the hands of a master.

They don't require any skills outside logical thinking, and don't even get me on players who mass produce them to the point where they freeze a friggin Apocalypse Tank in just few seconds.

With Advanced Rocket pods, those Striker VXs will shoot their missles way faster and deals more damage. High Technology on Cryocopters will only have effect on shrink beam ( I think). Advanced Aeronautics will just make it more durable.

I hardly ever saw cryocopters when I played PvP. I had no idea how good they were. This testing could make someone think the twinblades are underwhelming, but it's all about that rocket barrage alpha damage with hit & run tactics.

Twinblades are just good, all around useful and hard to go wrong with. Cryocopters can be very OP, but require a good skill, they are not something you can spam. VX have interesting ability, but for me their low speed and weak armor makes them the worst of choppers.
Indeed but I like using VX to handle anti air and armour,And make them patrol,Cryo copter,love paring them with a Assault Destroyer and a IFV or Riptide and hydrofoils,Twinblades, essential for killing enemies like yuriko omega and crowds of anti air infantry, versatile combat helicopter,and can carry most standard infantry and tanks,so good for sneak attacks,and hit and runs while dropping of a V4 behind enemy bases.

VX: Versatile, good against armored targets and structures, weak against infantry, slow, not so durable. Twinblade: Powerful rocket barrages which those strong against anything and suitable to hit and run tactics, disposes infantry fast, more durable than VX but cannot attack aerial targets so less versatile in terms of attack but can transport infantry / vehicle, faster than VX. Cryocopter: Can disable / make vulnerable any ground or sea unit, fast as twinblade and faster than VX, the most durable helicopter, lacks destructive / killing power on its own, special support unit, cannot attack aerial targets.
Cryo is basically if you combined twinblade's anti-infantry effectiveness and 3/4 of a striker/chopper's anti-vehicle (4/3s total) damage bred together. Basically it's an average helicopter in damage output when compared to the other heli's specialty, but it's an all rounder at the cost of potentially over-freezing and it doesn't switch targets to non-frozen one on it's own (that's a lot of micro ontop of targetting frozen guys) And gave it a shrink beam that makes (vehicles only) one ennemy unit half as strong and have less range, be crushable by any vehicle. Then make it 1/3 more expensive. It's usefull as the pro scene shows, though not as OP as some think, but delayed by the tier 2 cost.

Cryocopter + Best allied unit. + Frozen enemies are instantly turned into a 1 shot, stunned unit + Shrink Ray can make an MCV crushable even with your harvester, or making a tank's HP low enough that a javelin can destroy a hammer tank in 2 barrages. - No self defense. - Must be accompanied by an AA army like IFVs loaded with Javelins or just IFVs alone with nothing inside them - Must bring something to destroy the frozen stuffs. VX + The only one of these that can attack air units in the Striker form + When threatened by air units, it can transform to dodge it's fire, or even kill the fighter. + Insane DPS in massive numbers with the Advanced Rocket Pods upgrade - Expensive as hell - Transformation have a long cooldown - Striker form cannot shoot while moving, unlike Bullfrogs and IFVs.

Twinblade and bulldog combo is versatile against everything except AA defense, great in numbers and Kirovs as tanks or ground units Cyro copter is actually OP, very high health and if frozen it any unit can one shot the enemy VX is meh, Tengu is better
The VX is a nightmare to deal with though. The fastest response to a helicopter swarm is to scramble fighters, and their transformation completely counters that. You have to ground them with fighters and then hope ground units arrive in time.

Can you transport bullfrog with infantry in Twinblade and also will Twinblade pickup both transport and infantry if both transport and infantry get simultaneus order to get in tp the vehicle, will it get both ?
I know its more of a request than a question but *why not* 1st: Twinblade gives no shit whatever its carrying and will behave normally 2nd: i *think* it can transport bullfrogs with infantries inside 3rd: nah, only infantries *or* vehicles
Cryocopter: Has the most HP and is the most expensive. It can't kill units on its own so it does require more skill to use properly than the other two. Use correctly it is deadly since its freezing takes effect very quickly. Its SHRINK beam can allow easier kills since shrunken units take less time to freeze. VX: Has the most anti-tank firepower on its own, though it's also the slowest. Since it can transform it can go to Striker Mode to avoid AA air units. That said, Strike Mode makes it the worst AA unit since it can't fire while moving away from its target while also costing and being higher on the tech tree than the IFV and Bullfrog. Twinblade: Packs weapons to deal with anything on the ground though it's rockets have a long cooldown time so it helps to mindful of when they will fire. It has a lot of utlity as raiding, anti armor, and as a transport. In practice most players find the Cryocopter to be the most useful if you can micro it properly. As long as you have something like a Vindicator to knock out whatever they freeze then most anything they come across will die. Its SHRINK Beam renders enemies even easier to freeze while the speed boost can allow you to use Prospectors to expand into areas you wouldn't be able to otherwise. Plus it can benefit from Advanced Aeronautics and High Technology.

Каратели хороши, чтоб прилететь, одним ракетным залпом снести постройку и улететь (удобно будет против империи снести завод/додзе/верфь, чтоб при след постройке необходимо было опять повышать уровень)
@@totamota8415 карателем можно очень много всяких проблем противнику доставить . На некоторых картах есть места , куда можно очень закинуть Наташку , так чтобы она уничтожила полбазы. Наверное и с артиллерией советов такое возможно.
Мне вобще нравится техника ссср она практична опасна крута в некотором роде банальна да и кто муже если так подумать (поймут токо те кто играл в 1-3 часть) она проверена временем ну теже танки молот... или каратель который во 2 части с юрием ну и вдобавок все же каратель транспортное средство эфективный в толпе и против пехоты

EA is shit. They made those evil Cryocopters are so OP. Why didnt they lower their HP or their prices?
Twinblades (aka flying tanks) made the game so unbalanced. They demolish Tech 3 infantry, tanks, structures, at a unfairly fast past. They're also cheap to build, travel fast, can carry tanks or infantry, and are build-able at the beginning of the game. Those, and Rocket Angels, should've never been included in the game. You literally spam those, and the entire map is secure. But meh, its 12+ year old game, and the worst C&C ever made. So yeah, who cares i guess.
