  • This is Lee England Jr.'s fourth time performing Shinsuke's theme live for his entrance. The first time was at TakeOver: Brooklyn II on August 20, 2016. The second time was for Nakamura's main roster debut on SmackDown, April 4, 2017. The third time was at SummerSlam 2017. This man has become an integral part of every high profile Nakamura match.

    • That because Vince purposely pushed him to the moon because he was too far over with fans, so once he lost to Jinder made him lose momentum he had. At the royal rumble was to put the final nail to the coffin to his character that led to him losing at WrestleMania and they changed his theme song so fans won't sing it or interact in any way. Shinsuke will never will reach the world championship in WWE unfortunately. Especially when he in his 40s and stacked roster. Basically WWE missed the boat for him, at least we got Gunther because Vince was going break up the Imperium and burry Gunther.

  • Nobody on this planet has more swagger than Shinsuke Nakamura. I want to see this match so badly. The Great Muta/Keiji Mutoh is my all-time FAVORITE talent to come out of Japan, and Shinsuke is in my top 3, with 2nd place going to Ultimo Dragon. I'm thinking about paying for the service JUST for this match.

    • it's cheaper then NJPWWORLD, if i remember Wrestle Universe is 799 Yen, and you get DDT Pro, Tokyo Joshi, Ganbare and NOAH. While NJPWWORLD is 999 Yen and you onl get NJPW and it's affliates. (CMLL, AEW but only outside the US, NJPW STRONG)

    • @@Skeeeewoah the story is Nakamura has moved his family to the states and they’re all very happy there. He doesn’t plan to leave wwe anytime soon and is content to pick up a pay cheque until he retires. Genuinely sounds like he’s got nothing left he wants to achieve, just wanting to get paid and have fun rather than build upon his legacy. Keep in mind said report was made over 5 years ago and his contract has been renewed twice in that time, so seems like it had a point. That’s before we even get to the point where he was quite vocal about the number of older past their prime talent in the njpw main event scene when he was first coming onto the scene. His passion for this point was obvious, so I doubt he’s gonna take up that spot now. The only way I see him returning for njpw is if them and wwe choose to work an agreement like this out for Tanahashi or Naito’s retirement tour.
