People need to stop being so damn proud of their supposed bully breeds. They need to stop getting dogs just because they look intimidating. When push comes to shove and you're bully starts bullying you're going to be surprised when some other dog takes them down. Easily. Your bully does not make you a badass. When that bully decides to turn on you is generally going to win. Dogs aren't props! They are beloved members of families who take care of them and they will protect you with their life without training if you treat them with respect. Dogs are automatic bullies without being trained to be so. People cause that and the reputation of some breeds. If your big old bully goes after me or goes out to somebody else don't be surprised if they get a ball back to the Head. Yeah I've experienced that!. Somebody's dog they trained to be a bully try to attack my neighbor kids. That dog got beat and then the neighbor wanted to fuss about it. Don't train your dog to be a bully and he won't get hurt.

Your advice is people shouldnt be proud of their dogs. The bully part of bully breeds does not come from the act of "bullying" it comes from theyre being descendants of the "bull baiting" dogs primarily the Bulldog. Your whole OPINION seems to be based on a single dog or interaction and not any facts. You say dogs are natural bullies but yet someone trained their dog to be a bully?? WTF? And then when it turns on the owner the dogs win but some non bully breed or YOU will take it down easily? All youre doing is displaying your bias and actual ignorance of dogs and their true nature. Having any large dog breed is a RESPONSIBILITY but even proper measures like care,training and socialization etc. can only lessen the likelyhood of any issues due to the fact that its USUALLY someone like yourself with built in ignorance who initiates things. A quick FYI is a properly raised Pit Bull or any dog for that matter will NEVER "turn" on its owner and that is almost a guarantee. They dont just decide one day hey youve been taking such good care of me so Im gonna ruin it and attack you unprovoked. That goes against everything that makes a dog a dog... My advice is take the chip off your shoulder and just because certain dogs may look a certain way or similar to something you dont care for they are not all the same and should not be looked upon with a certain prejudice. That is a very low vibrational way to be and hopefully you dont do the same with people especially since dogs are WAY more forgiving than we are. Ignorance is a choice my friend!

Dogs aren't supposed to be aggressive and violent neither soft mushy pushovers - they're supposed to be friendly to other creatures but also willing to protect their owners fiercly and that's the result of a healthy lifestyle and relationship with your dog. Not an out of control 235 PSI biting force.
