  • I loved you kettle electrode de-solderer, speaker magnet to collect screws, easy way to replace rubber roll surrounds. Well done I learnt a lot. Thanks. I love restoring old things. Its good for the planet.

  • You know it's a top quality hifi speaker when you see the crossover is just an inline capacitor. I appreciate the effort you put in, but these speakers were better left in the garbage.

  • I personally would pay more attention to straight lines and esthetics, and massage that inner OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) it's the "feng shui" of the human eye. Other than that, well done! Another speaker saved! Good Job!

  • You solder white wire with the positive and red wire with the negative terminal of the speaker. Then you connect the wire with amplifier. Red wire to red terminal and white wire to black terminal. This will cause phase issue with multiple speaker.

  • For a practice run, good enough. You can learn to refoam that way and if needed, you can restore something more rare and more expensive. Current "restoration" was totally pointless since everything was total crap, even the sound filters. Only reason to do it, is for practice or if you are totally bored. One recommendation though for a maker: Use turntable to refoam!

  • Рассохшийся корпус из ДСП собрали с помощью трёх капель клея и шпаклёвки? Я правильно понял? (Да идинамики самое дно, звук у колонки думаю дерьмовейший)

    • ну корпус ещё можно восстановить а динамики можно купить другие похожие по мощности и сопротивлению

    • ну не знаю, может у вас там где вы живёте запчастей для восстановления динамиков полно, а у нас в одессе такого днём с огнём не сыщешь, проще динамики купить и есть всякие разные покупай нехочу лишь бы деньги были бы

    • HE IS TELLING LIES, OIL DOES NOT FLOW SO FREELY AND OIL DOES NOT REMOVE OR LOOSEN RUBBER ADHESIVE, HE IS USING PETROL OR ACETONE OR CHLOROFORM TO REMOVE THE ADHESIVE.

  • Отвратительно! Колонку склеивает суперклеем! Обрабатывает автошпатлёвкой! Но для чего? Почему ты не дал колонке спокойно принять смерть на свалке? Зачем надругался над ней? Тебе в голову не приходило, что твоя замазка начнёт отваливаться от вибраций? Нет? Что колонку можно было аккуратно набить хотя бы поролоном и тряпками, если уж нет специального материала? Что корпус можно было восстановить красиво, а не делать его мусорного качества, к тому же ЖЁЛТОГО ЦВЕТА!!? Кровь из глаз! Это ужас, блять, какой-то!

  • I didn't know you can actually replace the rubber on a speaker. But usually new speakers are pretty cheap to replace. Don't worth repairing them. But good video 👍

  • just replace the old speaker units with new 1s and then replace the old wood cabs with new wood then you have a new looking speaker
