    • Not really lol 😂 (not hanging shit in the cages) That ‘tank’ weighs 9000lb/4100kg. At a guess the crowns weigh 1600kg. In a 10g accident the car would have 16t of force going through the cage so 4.1t of stress is nothing on a roll cage.

    • Not really a tank. And certainly not the weight of a tank. The ripsaw weighs about 10 000lbs, a tank, say Abrams M1 weighs 120 000lbs. A tank would absolutely flatten the Vic. Dividing the 10 000lbs between 2 tracks, there's only 5000lbs on a single roll bar and that's not really crazy is it?

  • If this was on Haulover Inlet they'd be saying the the Ripsaw stuffed the bow. It was so great seeing the lad's reaction when they hit the gas in the Ripsaw - it obviously went a lot faster than they expected. I hope Cleetus got a stand out deal on the Ripsaw because he is going to sell a lot of units for them.

  • I'd look at Ty fabricating some bash plates to go on the nose of the Ripsaw, or some bar work that act as scrub rails. We've all just witnessed how tough his cages are, I'm sure he could work something out

  • You guys got the Ripsaw Rippin’! One thing I’m noticing is the rear sags. I’m guessing it has the same weight springs on all six shocks. Considering the rear has the most weight. It would need heavier springs in the rear. Prob stagger all of them, stock front, harder mid and lil more harder rear. With that I’m sure with scales and some phone calls you can get the proper springs and prob ensure the shocks are valved properly still. So awesome!
