Lyrics:
burn every fear
every doubt
like a funeral fire
scream every anthem
and follow your reckless desires
take back the crown
that hangs at the gate
ready your march
steady your aim
for the heart is a soldier
that never loses its way
so raise your horns
raise ‘em high
let ‘em soar
let ‘em fly
up through the heavens
forevermore
let ‘em reign down
raise your horns
sing every verse
every sermon
for the dead are unheard
shout from the rooftops
while you still live every word
cause the pendulum swings
for those who dare wait
through flesh and through bone
to where nothing escapes
so follow true north
on the road that
will lead you away
so raise your horns
raise ‘em high
let ‘em soar
let ‘em fly
up through the heavens
forevermore
let ‘em reign down
raise your horns
forgive every fear that convinced you
to put out your light
show every flaw every scar
that this world made you hide
from who you are
from who you are
raise your horns
raise ‘em high
let ‘em soar
let’ em fly
up through the heavens
forevermore
let ‘em rain down
raise your horns
let ‘em rain down
raise your horns
let ‘em rain down
raise your horns

  • By the time the bridge hit, I was sobbing. I was raised in a religious cult, where pursing music as a career was forbidden. Five years ago I joined a rock band, ELSIE BINX. My band and the rock community in general SAVED my life in several ways 💜. I'm so proud and fortunate to be part of this community. 🤘🤘

  • I cannot express how much this song touches me. This is the best "love yourself" song I have every heard. 💜 "Forgive every fear that convinced you to put out your light. Show every flaw, every scar that this world made you hide from who you are" is the best verse, in my opinion, and speaks to all my depression and anxiety telling it to go away in the best way possible. 🤘

  • i struggle to find the words to describe this new record: you can tell it's full of rage (and i mean it in the best way possible) and will to live and i can see myself in those lyrics. Raise Your Horns is the best song to end the journey the album puts you on from the beginning. i'm so proud of this band and what they've achived during these years, and i wish their success would only grow in time. they deserve it. thank you, Halestorm, for the music and art you kindly share with the world - i'm so proud to call myself a fan. here's to us xx

    • I remember going to shows right before and as their second record was getting put out there. They would have some decent crowds but just hundreds of people was normal back then. Now here they are killing it in arenas and whatnot. Growing with this band has been the best thing I ever started.

    • @@nathanknipmeyer6973 same here. From the beginning with them. All of them have remained down to earth good people too. Fame did not corrupt them. I've even hung out with them after the show and just talked about life, YK? On one tour thru Dallas I had tix but came down with a bug, my husband went without me (so jealous) but when Lzzy didn't see me front stage she asked hubby if I was ok. He told her I was home sick. She sent me a get well card! Awesome folks! All of them. Lizzy, RJ, Josh, and Joe, you all have my heart. 💖💖
