What a great review. So much detail. Thank you!
great review, this is the perfect size and has the right capability for my needs and you nailed the items that I was wondering about.
I learned a lot in your video. Thanks !😃
Great video! Thank you I learned quite a bit!
Great video!! Very informative
I just picked mine up last Monday....love it.
Outer Banks?
@@703Speed Yep....P.S. You forgot to point out the built in bottle opener. 4:56 on the right hand side.
Amazing review bro.
Kenny, great review. I really like that this stands out from so many suv's that look so similar but that engine would be a deal killer for me. Hope that you are doing great!
Thanks James!
Not sure why people hate the engine so much. If I need acceleration I flip into sports mode and the thing really flies. Normally I drive in eco mode and get 32 mpgs. But like when getting on an on ramp for a highway I switch to sport and blast off like a rocket. Everyone who complains about the “little 3 cylinder” clearly hasn’t driven it or isn’t using the modes right.
I really like your videos, I wonder why there are KZhead channels with millions of subscribers and your content and much better, you are doing a great job.
Thank you! I'd be happy with 100,000 subs haha
Great info and well communicated!
Good review with a lot of pertinent details. So glad this has a actual automatic transmission, that alone would push me to this SUV.
I just drove the Outer Banks yesterday. Didn’t buy. It was about $42,000 fully loaded. Very tiny infotainment screen, no power liftgate, no wireless CarPlay.
The looks of the Bronco Sport have improved each year since introduction. The 2024 Outer Banks in black is a dignified right-sized ride, like the original Ford Explorers were twenty five years ago. Makes a good statement.
Agreed.. Needs to be a little less expensive
It’s crazy how these things look big on video or pictures. Then you see them in person and it’s an oompa loompa of an suv
great video. thank you!!!!!!!!
This is the exact package I have with the exception of having the blue interior. Great vehicle, power is fine. Only downsides is 1. the rear floor is not level with 2nd row down. 2. GOAT mode is not saved it resets every time and can’t set default. 3. No power tailgate. For price point it should but it is about wilderness and bumps that may break things so I can see why they left it out. Some hidden features he missed. 1. Keyfob can roll down windows 2. Built in bottle opener when liftgate is opened. 3. With auto temp it will either cool or heat your vehicle depending on the temp when remote started. Including if you want heated steering wheel or seats.
Just out of curiosity, Any idea what the tow / payload capacity of the 2.0 engine is?
Pretty sure it ups it 200 lbs - so 2,200 lb max tow capacity
$41,000 for a 3-cylinder is just sad.
Yup
@@Jay2776 181hp is not plenty and for that price it should come with the 245hp engine and all the options. If that is all the hp you can handle then you should buy it.
If only they would have made it at least 5%-10% bigger and a v6 option and 4 cylinder standard. It would be worth the price .
It’s not sad for those who want fuel efficiency and don’t have the need for more power. We recently got ours and it has more power than its competitors and is a lot more fun to drive. And as far as $41,000, that price is fully loaded. We choose not to get the fully loaded. Once again, you’ll pay that with competitors.
@@charlene3671 I’m happy, you’re happy. I’m still not buying one of those turds.
Agree that 41,000 is a bit much For that unit. Hopefully ford will put some good rebates with it.
They need to...
I was able to get a new 2023 outer banks with the 6500 manufacture discount plus negotiated another 4k off
@@703Speed Ford heard us and has lowered Bronco Sport MSRP's by about $2k on the outer banks. Not sure about the other models.
@@kb94596 They will listen to us if we're loud enough! Great to hear
Just bought a 2024, Bronco Outer Banks Tech package, Copilot 360+, sun roof, Desert Sand, 34400.00 in Northern Va. It's a beautiful car. Oh, you forgot the bottle opener. Right side of frame under rear hatch. And its not a wifi hotspot. Its for updates only
Where did you buy from?
@@703Speed Ted Britt last day of the month
DON'T FORGET THE BOTTLE OPENER OFF TO THE SIDE ON THE EDGE OF THE TAILGATE!!
You can get a slightly used 4Runner TRDORP for $41K. I know cause I sold one and bought a Subaru CTW. Effing gas prices!
What do you prefer: 4Runner or Crosstrek?
@@703Speed My dude, I live down in VA Beach. My heart prefers the 4Runner but my head digs the Crosstrek. Was spending like $85 a week in gas and I work from home! I haven't filled up the CTW in three weeks. The Toyota was badass but really didn't fit my personal transportation needs. Not down here in Hampton Roads where there isn't a trail for 150 miles and driving conditions are pretty much the same 12 months out of the year. By the way, I got more compliments and interest in my CTW in a week than I ever got in my TRDORP 4Runner in three years.
1.5 3cyl engine into this big SUV is misunderstanding. I would choose more off-road capable version with V6 engine. Great review as always.Greetings
wait the rear seats in the newer models dont have the zipper pouch now?
Yes they do on my 2024?Outer Banks model.
Ford really should have made them all standard with the 3.5 liter v6 ecoboost. They are really good and strong motors. The old Broncos had v8s(way underpowered but still v8s. Lol). The v6 ecoboost would have made these little monsters. They could have put a coyote in the top trim Broncos. 😁. Ford should make me their CEO. This does look cool, and if they took 10 grand off it would be cool as it is.
The 3.5 Ecoboost in this would be INSANE lol. It would be sooo fast. That would be sick
@@703Speed bronco sport would definitely earn that sport title.
Sounds like fun but it would be way too much. The 4 cylinder turbo probably should have been standard, but honestly I don’t dislike the turbo 3 cylinder in mine. When in normal or eco mode it takes a second to get up to speed for sure, but I just switch it to sports mode when I need to accelerate (you can do this while traveling) and it accelerates like a rocket.
Used to be, you could hardly find a Sport, now my dealer has over 35 of them. They are overpriced and people can't get their loans....so they'll be basking in the hot sumer sun unless they discount them about 6K.
What happened is they got really popular. It’s the must have vehicle for high school and college girls currently having replaced the disgustingly overpriced 4 door jeep wranglers as the must have girl power mobile. Then those of us who do light off-roading for hunting or fishing like them because they are surprisingly capable. Then they got the reputation of crushing it when it snows so the new moms want them for first baby mom mobiles. And of course giving hundreds of billions of dollars to overseas nations sending inflation through the roof while simultaneously giving massive pay increases to the auto unions really didn’t help the prices stay low. Even still it’s probably the cheapest if not in the top 5 cheapest suvs in its class. I got an outer bans trim and put a lift kit and 4 new tires on it for less then the cost of a midrange Jeep compass so not to awful.
Maybe 1 day, I will buy this vehicle like this.
😂
You got it bro
They should have changed the infotainment system and make it like the edge and the escape.
More tempting if a v6.peace
I bought one today. Some things that I have already found that will take some getting used to are the very low, narrow arm rest on the driver door and the gas pedal seems uncomfortable, if that makes any sense.
If they want some demand. Then release the bronco sport with fat tires and the hybrid. Nobody cares if its 2WD if it gets 37 mpg. If its a plug in, buyers get 7500 off. There will be a 2 year line.
I get annoyed if a car doesn’t have a full sized spare
If you opt for the trailer hitch package, that includes a full size spare (and it makes the load floor several inches higher)
FORD Found On Road Dead
That is a ridiculous price for a jeep
I don’t like Bronco because it is copycat for Jeep Wranglers. Anyway, love your video though.
40 grand for a small Bronco? No wonder the Rav 4 is the most sought after car in the world.
They are a rip off. Poor ford quality.
1.5l engine its garbage
And you say that because your grammar is bad?
Overpriced garbage . It’s nice looking exterior wise but the vehicle is pretty crappy put together. A lot of issues with the bronco sport . Super cheap plastic cheap materials . It’s not worth 50 grand.
