  • At least Noelle’s parents weren’t wrong to pair Noelle with Graham, she was wrong thinking that he was just a boring guy. It turns out that they do suit each other pretty well. I’m glad that Noelle and Star worked things out between them, and I’m sure that Star will meet a better guy than Thornton someday.

  • Literally *all the time* in MSA, they make some overcomplicated sympathetic backstory that just instantly washes away every horrible thing the bad guy's done and then everyone just forgives them in just a few minutes. Star had her reasons, but that's no excuse for what she did to Noelle. Noelle is just a badass main character, and I bet a lot of people with rich parents can relate to her.

  • While I am happy that both Noelle and Star did reconcile, I am still afraid of what the future will bring for them. I said this because we all know what happened when the Senior Emperor of the Roman Empire of the current ruling dynasty alienated his best friend who happened to the Junior Emperor of peasant origin. One word. Bloodbath.

    • Same. This story has some of the clichés that I detest in these stories (bad parents, friendships that turn toxic, elements that are easily resolved, and stories that end in a rushed and anticlimactic manner, etc.). If it had been Noelle, I would have left that house, ended that friendship and been at peace with herself. This is my opinion.
