I think they did, they seem to have put a lot of thought into minor details. If one of your stats go to 69 it will say "Nice" instead of "Excellent"

@@CHloE748 Recently had a health issue which is most often caused by leukemia (surprisingly turns out it wasn't), and I wound up having to have the "I'm not doing chemo and I'm going out on my own terms" conversation with my S.O., so I had to laugh seeing that sentiment here too.

@@SecretLars sterile isn't actually complete sterility in this game, it just lowers your character's fertility by a certain percentage (most start out with a fertility of about 50%, sterile characters' fertility hovers somewhere around 15%). I actually had sterile characters with children in my games (including female characters so it can't be attributed to the character having gotten cucked) the LEPER trait however gives you -100% fertility and is incurable. so...yeah

Peasants weren't really aware of what their king or royalty were up to though. Can I just say, I noticed on the last video, even with a quarter million subscribers and thousands of comments, AA genuinely actually goes through all of them and gives likes and hearts to all of the ones he likes, even if he's quite literally the only person to leave a like on them. What an absolute wonderful madman, that genuinely blew me away honestly.

Just make a character like the very first one and give him 99 children in character creation. Now watch the world burned by murderous-horny dwarfs. You can also try and start a "cleansing" campaign with one of your ancestors and try hunting down every single offspring of the original hellish spawn.

the all negative traits experience- you get all excite about the idea of playing someone terrible, but then you realize that they are so terrible that they die instantly, so you scale things back.
I think the Monster Factory actually had their baby king die almost immediately after creation.

Considering there is a frequent death roll that happens when in poor health, intensifying as it drops past that point, I saw dying and went "Yep, that's not gonna work out". And somehow the comedic timing still made it funny.
TIP: If you give your ruler children in the ruler designer, they inherit your DNA and your congenital traits like normal kids. Which means you can load that bad boy up with every disease known to mankind and rest assured knowing you’ve got some backup plagued heirs when you inevitably die!

bro, the "witch" trait ain't no bad trait, you need it to found a witch's coven, which boosts your fertility, health and some other stuff that i don't remember, it can be bad if someone discovers (which is already your case since the only way to become a witch through the character creation is to pick the witch trait, which you get after someone discovers that you're a witch) but if you manage to keep it a secret and convert your family to found the witch's coven, your in good shape december 6th 2022 edit: spelling

To be fair, it probably was somewhat a death sentence back then, the various health issues and eye problems you may have been born with, with no modern medicine might have killed you as a child. There was also always the chance of an insane zealot or someone randomly calling you a witch/demon and trying to kill you for no reason. Also most people spent a fair amount of time outdoors (especially if you were poor) and there wouldn’t be anyway to protect yourself or save yourself from skin cancer (maybe you could wear a veil as a woman but it would still be hard) I think it would be an extremely difficult life

Eating during the character creation was not a good idea. EDIT: I forgot CK3 pretty much has your character on screen at all times. Eating in general is not advised during this experience.
Better make them disfigured, then, or you could use the option to censor severe injuries and illness. At least in the former case they'll have the courtesy to wear a mask, as if even Paradox wants to save your mind from a disfigured face
