Detailed description:
In this video, I explain how I programmed a Minecraft Mod long with several Python scripts that allow me to convert a 3D animation from Blender into a sequence of block structures or voxel structures that can then be imported and played back inside Minecraft to easily create Stop-motion animations like Jake Eyes does on his channel. This is just my solution, and might not be the best.

Finally a new video! And it's not related to 3D rendering this time, I hope you like it! Also, I finally fixed the reverb issues with my mic, so enjoy the better audio quality :D
great vid man!
jokes on you, you were 3d rendering an animation in Minecraft so it is related.
bad job 😤
It is 3d rendering in mc tho
Will the texture pack ever release?
Such an innovative and creative project!
If only I could understand the process 😩
Can agree
I know
Yep
okay check-mark
bruh why did the algorithm keep this from me for exactly a whole year? this is insanely cool
It's KZhead, what'd you expect?
Wow I never expected to see you here! I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

I wasn't sold on the idea until I saw the water sim in Minecraft. Absolutely mind blowing, well done !
I like how the ball and the steve animation accidentally leaves a footprint in the world.
8:22 my guess would be, that the build limit was reached and the mod couldn't handle it.
Yeah, it's like it tried to place the block, received an error and didn't know what to do with it so it just got stuck there
Now i want a Minecraft Animation animated like the lego movies
I love JakeEyes, he makes some great stuff!

I don’t know why but I was most impressed by the bouncing cube at the end
I made it in a few minutes. It's just a rigidbody simulation in Blender with a high bounce factor. It doesn't even collide with the world, but with an invisible plane.
Same, it seems so realistic
A bit late, but it seemed to interact with the world the most, making it very impressing. If the liquid interacted with the world instead of being in a container, it would definitely be the most impressive.
@@satgurs The cube very much did not interact with the world. That's simply not a feature of this process. The blender scene cannot interact with the Minecraft world. The cube is just bouncing on a plane
@@sebastiangudino9377 I did not mean that it interacted, I meant that it looked like it did.
Now imagine being able to play the animation while you’re walking around in-game. It would be the future of map-making!
I think someone already did that with a model of themselves in the game while juggling some balls.

It's always the engineers enabling the artists. Someone like Jake Eyes could USE this process as a part of his own workflow and probably make higher quantity and quality animations that still have a lot of character. Like in the VFX world or electronic music scene
Glad I found this channel, this was absolutely awesome watching, can’t wait to see everything else you have been working on!
Every video you release is really inspiring for any programmer that cares about graphics or artificial intelligence. Everything is well explained and it simply makes sense. Keep up the good work. (Ever since I watched your ray tracing video I couldn’t wait to see the later releases :))
Yaaay! You did it! You absolutely smashed it! Great job!
The video is great!!! Everything is so clear even if I don’t have the level to understand
i have actually zero clue how animation works nor have i ever produced a single animation in my life, so your animation skills are better than most people's
Most of them can be done in literally less than 10 clicks. Like the explosion, the fluid and the cube. Not saying he IS bad, is just that blender is pretty flipping good at physics. The Minecraft one does require more work, involving texture, rigging, manual key frames and a whole lot more
Absolutely amazing! Keep up the good work!
Imagine if this was real-time. Map makers and servers could probably use it to implement fake physics for things like scripted terrain destruction and make some interesting stuff through that route I reckon.
If chunk updates weren't so laggy, I feel like there could have been a reality where it was real time
imagine a vr thing where you move irl and in minecraft the blocks move
There are mods to fix that but I don’t know how’s they’d work with the mod
Great Video, very professional. Didn't expect such a high quality Video from your reddit post
This is amazing! I've never seen anything like this in Minecraft. Good job!
3:94 That blue cube falling from the sky is unreal
3:94?
This is the best of the best when it comes to minecraft content. You are insane.
Wow! Amazing, keep up the high quality of videos
Wow, an amazing concept! Keep Going!!!
This is awesome! I paticularly loved the water sim and the rigid body diamond block! I also loved how the steve animation destroyed some grass as he walked!
This deserves more attention! Great job!
This is, without a doubt, one of the coolest things I have ever seen.
First time watching one of your vids, this sounds really cool! Also about the animation thing, I’m right with you. I do 2D animation most of the time but my skills aren’t that good (I still post some better ones on my channel). Sometimes I like to draw out a 3D thing on flipaclip and then animate it as if it was 3d. Its harder but thats what makes it fun. Thanks for the vid :)
I like the footsteps Steve made after the animation
That's awesome, that fluid animation was sick, damn
this has intense worldbuilding capabilities, imagine an event in a mod or something with a huge temple coming out of the ground with an animation
YOOOOOO this was epic! very underrated u r def gonna blow up soon!!! Keep up the amazing work!
This is really underrated. Why doesn't this have more views????
This is literally the coolest thing I've ever seen
I just found your channel. Man your content is awesome
this looked so cool thank you for the vid
"Sort of intresting" Man this is one of the coolested thing I ever seen!
Broo this is insaneeeee
brilliant , Great video as usual .
Waiting for Steveee to upload this without any credit… Jokes aside, I loved this video some of those animations while not the greatest, looked very cool to see inside of Minecraft
this is so cool, great job my guy
I really hope more people make minecraft stop motions
its funny that he said hes the only one in the world that can do it when its literally as easy as just putting a /clone command in a command block
This is amazing, genius
This would be insane for map making
Some seriously impressive stuff you got there, you have a great skillset :) 4:50 go around straight lines in the edges of the triangulated mesh, should work fine if the mesh is dense enough compared to the voxel size.
Yes you're right, but if you know the mesh is dense, why not just use the vertices because it's much faster. If you want it to work with low-poly, unsubdivided meshes you have to somehow get a bunch of points on the surface at regular intervals, and that sounds complicated.
You can probably just do the edges between the vertices and do the same 3-way interpolation you use for getting the pixels in a rasterized triangle, just in 3d, and use those points.
That makes sense, it could be a solution.
@@NamePointer recently, blender added the feature of geometry nodes. In which there is a "distribute points on faces" node. That might be what you're looking for.
This is absolutely amazing
Legit! thanks a lot bro!
I really wanna see it run in realtime. It would feel a lot different if you could fly around while the animations are playing
Your channel is very underrated, glad I found you through TikTok
8:35 was awesome
man, the fluid animation is cool
JakeEyes: I'm the only one who can do this NamePointer: Ima boutta end this man's whole career
nice work man!
wow the explosion is so real. dont know how i did it, but the addition of smoke coming out of pc is a nice touch
9:35 is so dope
I've inadvertently have done this before in my pixelmon map. The opening Takes you from the hub area to a trigger which you cant see then you ride into the start of the map on a boat.
Now a Server Lobby it's gonna Look Like more Incredible with This!

I remember stampylonghead making a few REALLY simple stop motion Minecraft videos, before this video, that was the only stop motion Minecraft videos I had ever seen and that had to be in like 2013 or something
Very cool, the next step would be to import a bit of the minecraft world you're animating on so physics sims and stuff can interact with it.
That water simulation looked really cool!
This is great! :D
This is so neat
It's an interesting and creative content than ever
Woah that is really useful
"You workd so hard on it? Well screw you am automating it"
This is sicc! You should add the camera animation from blender to tge player position in minecraft.
Very good video!
unreasonably underrated video this is the coolest shit ive seen in a while
"what's that, this app doesn't work this way? I'll make it work this way." The sheer power this man has

Are you taking suggestions? If so, can you make a simulation of a more complex ecosystem (prey-a, prey-b predator-a, predator-b, predator predator-a, predator predator-c)
Bro just watch National Geographic
The age of content doesn’t matter, it’s quality and entertainment that matters
Incredible
The animations looked very good
How was Fabric? When I switched from Forge to Fabric I found that it was a lot faster and lighter weight, and much easier to make mods for. There's so much less boilerplate and so much less registration and stuff required to do something. You just code like it's vanilla MC and you get a game with literally only the modifications you want. It's so refreshing. I have a Fabric client that consists entirely of tweaks to make the vanilla game better. It's so good for playing on multiplayer. Forge is so heavy it's not worth it over vanilla if you're not running a 300-mod tech pack. And even then only because Fabric doesn't have a lot of content mods yet.
You could use this to make things like the video of the man who did this but without stop motion on his Xbox 360, or the way others made a working computer/screen mirroring of their own computer in Minecraft. You could even connect this to your Minecraft character as you play Minecraft and see what happens when you add a mod that allows your character to do emotes.
Holy crap! I can't believe you only have 2 thousand subs and 4 thousand views. This is the type of video I see on my homepage with millions of views.
Look into richard William's the animators survival guide, it's a textbook on animation that's still used today and covers everything from key frames and inbetweens to pose to pose and smooth motion
thats so cool
Nice one 👍
Sick, holy shit thats insane
