♥ Frequently Asked Questions ♥
Q: Do you plan before, during, or after the week?
A: It varies from video to video, but typically I plan 2-3 times during the week and stitch the clips together. I rarely plan the entire week in advance or the entire week retroactively.
Q: Do you use all of these planners?
A: Yes and no. Every week, there is something in my life that takes priority over the others whether it be school, work, or something personal. Depending on the week, I select a few planners that will help me achieve my tasks! So not every planner is used every week.
Q: How do you get so much done in a day?
A: If you watch any of my journaling vlogs, you’ll realize that I have very poor sleeping habits and so naturally I’m able to fit more things into the day. It’s something I’m trying to fix but admittedly this is the only reason.

  • This is so so helpful. My grandchildren love it too. Some are at high school. I am retired teacher and have my own things to do during the day. Planning my days using your stickers and ideas means that my days don’t float by. Also - I read War and Peace during the first Lockdown. It is a lovely lovely book. Sweet and funny and sad and inspiring. It’s just very very long. I wrote down the names of the characters too. Some have four or five different names, but I picked them up quickly. Thank Helen. Always know you are helping people all round the world and you are wonderful. Jess

    • Aww thank you so much Jessica! I'm glad to know you enjoyed War and Peace! It's a bit daunting to tackle but I'm excited ^_^ Thank you again for your sweet comment!

  • I put everything in my catch-all planner and duplicate items into your Vol II planner when I have projects outside my home. Likewise, for my budget, reading and medical planners. When watching you do duplicate work, it might appear to be a lot of busy work. But I know, from my own experience, that this duplication on the morning of the event(s) really helps me mentally prepare for the day. A friend asked me, why keep a catch-all? Because I forward plan in that planner and it keeps me from double-booking, or missing an important appointment.

  • Thank you, really enjoyed seeing your detailed process. Always therapeutic to watch your videos & amazed by all you do. I wonder, is there anything you can't do? Future video idea: Would be interesting to see a more business-y "behind-the-scenes look" (e.g. managing employees, dealing with vendors, video editing process, etc.). WIshing you a peaceful but productive week ahead (LOL & enjoy the fresh TO snow!

  • I had to laugh when you said you put your keys in the sink for no reason. That is something I would totally do when tired. You've given me a little motivation to do the schoolwork I have today.

  • I love your videos and your voice and your handwriting 😆 These videos bring me calm and less stress. However how do you survive getting up at 645 and then going to bed at like 12/2 am and do it all over again the day after. It amazes me how much work you get done and how productive you are. I could not do the same, even if I wanted to!

  • Loved this! I think it's so interesting to see how other people plan their days, so thank you for sharing!! I had to chuckle about your keys in the sink...I put mine in the freezer the other day 🙈😂 I was putting some groceries in there and didn't have any pockets to put the keys in and sooooo yeah, set them down in the freezer lol! Luckily I found them!! Anywho-I hope you have a great week 💕

  • Loved this video! It reminded me of the videos you made in the past about how you use all your planners at once (I've watched those so many times!) When you said how you put your keys in the sink I thought it was so relatable because I do things like that everyday😂 also, still really love the weekly notepad! Would love to see it make a comeback in the future with a new design or even a neutral version that's kind of like a colouring page😋 anyways, have a lovely week ahead!

  • This was exactly the kind of video I was hoping for, thanks Helen! It's great to get a peek at your daily planning routine. And I agree with how nice it feels to set up the next day page even if it's just the header, definitely the same vibe as picking out an outfit the evening before, less to think about in the morning is always a relief! (oh and I spy some "existential crisis" emotis coming soon!? Super excited for those (lol that sounds funny 😂)

  • This was really helpful & fun to see, thank you! I was wondering how you keep track of your tasks for each area of your life (work, school, other) since you rewrite the tasks into the secondary planners after you write them in your main planner. Do you have a master list of tasks that just keeps getting added to as things come up & then you prioritize them on the day or is it just a running list in your head?
