    • So true. I used to spend summer holidays at my grandparents in a village in Romania. Didn't wear shoes for 3 months (we have long summer holidays). Spent all day walking the hills and swimming in rivers ... the best life. My brother and I were never sick, my parents never took us to see doctors since we never had any issues (other than an occasional cold treated with onion tea or honey) .. we had no mood swings or temper tantrums. Every time I see running water now I want to dip my feet in it and walk barefooted... it is amazing for mental health. I bought a house with a garden for this specifically

    • I would kick my shoes off at every turn as a child...it drove my mother crazy. An old man watching me run barefoot told her to leave me to run he said she'll have beautiful feet. I'm 68 and still to this day I love to walk barefoot outside. I don't do it so much now but I will be as last year my body suffered really bad inflammation that has left me with one foot that is constantly swollen. I have terrible pain and I'm hoping going back to walking barefoot helps....

  • Back in 2007 while living surrounded by concrete, buildings, and cars in Los Angeles (and miserable) I said to my sister one day, "I feel starved for nature!" That Christmas, I spent a week in Santa Fe, NM. My friend sent me to her holistic doctor in very nature filled Tesuque for my difficult decades long headache that doctors and healers have never been able to help. (3 neck injuries now) He did kinesiology on me (muscle testing). He suddenly stopped in the middle of testing something (had been working silently) and said, "Your body is saying that you're nature deficient." What were the odds?! I am a tree hugger...literally. I now hug trees when I can.

Recently I decided to just sit on it when reading or watching tv. Wow! I am a side sleeper with very arthritic shoulders. Since the first day I started SITTING on the mat I no longer wake up repeatedly throughout the night to turn over due to shoulder pain. I am sleeping through the night and I feel calmer. • I began grounding in January 2023 using copper wire, metal duct tape and an 8" screw. the copper wire was wrapped around the head of the screw which was pounded into the ground outside my bedroom window. The wire snaked into my window between the screen and the frame, then taped (electrical) along the wall until it reached my bed. The copper wire was then between 2 pieces of sticky metal duct tape and was stretched out across my bed about 18" from the foot of my bed. Fitted sheet was placed on top and voila! I need a hip replacement, so my left hip is very uncomfortable to lie on, never mind my aching knee ( but usually only in bed). The first night's sleep, I had no ache anywhere. Wow!! No ache in my side. Holy cow! Every night, I have to roll from side to side and have pillows between my legs. Always, I had to gird my loins before rolling from side to side, waking up each time while gritting my teeth. Now, I barely notice when I roll over. Sleeping is so easy now. The first few nights I slept a lot longer than normal

    @maggieyanor5082@maggieyanor5082 Жыл бұрын
    • May sound stupid but if that wire is even 16 gauge (light cord) it can kill you. The wire used in anti-static mats and straps of this kind is not made of metal, but rubber with carbon, with a very high resistance. This will prevent a lot of CURRENT (power) from ever traveling thru it, while allowing micro-amps of 10,000 Volts to travel unimpeded. Whereas copper is happy to transmit high current and high voltage = you're going to feel it just from random electric charge in the air. Only use a properly engineered system to "ground yourself in bed." Do your own research!

  • I bought a grounding mat und the bedsheet 2 years ago. Made sure I get the Original Earthing products from groundology. (Before I read the book "Earthing" by Clint Ober). To cut a long story short - this was the best thing I ever did. I do not want to be without it for the rest of my life. In fact I got 3 of the black mats, one for every room. I am extremely sensitiv to electromagnetic fields , the earthing mats help me to survive. During summer I go barefoot whenever possible. This changed my life. I was suffering after a vaxxination 40 years ago (post-vaxx), always pain in the kidneys and backproblems. When I got the mat, I put it in my bed, my feet and legs started tingling and after about 20 minutes it was like miracle, like an explosion - all the tension, all the pain gone within 10 seconds. When I am not at home, out all day the problems are back, tension, pain , exhausted, nervous - the first thing I do when I come home - Earthing for one hour and I can feel all the tension and pain go away. I think everybody should have an earthing mat - it makes a big difference.

  • I have a grounding mat for my king bed. Not the same company as mentioned in the description. I agree that it helps with sleeping. I have deeper sleep now and I don’t shift so much. I purchased this bc I have bursitis and nerve pain coming from my back. It hasn’t “cured” my nerve pain but the ability to sleep better with reduced pain is a plus. I also feel like I have more vivid dreams. My mat was pricey but I do see a difference. I watched the GROUNDED documentary and remembered that a man in a wheelchair for many years finally was able to get out of his wheelchair. So I will continue to use my grounding mat. I placed my mat on my bed 46 days ago. So I’m not quite at 60 days. I should journal results as more time passes. Part of my journey has been attempting to not speak negative, not to think negative, or act negative. Recognize the negativity and say to your self “peace and harmony, let it go”. Sometimes it’s hard, and sometimes it’s easy. This attitude adjustment allows you to accept more healing.

Add to that insomnia, which I had for a decade before moving to Oregon and started using cannabis to sleep (works really well for about 4 to 5 hours, then I'm wide awake again.) • Hi Cat, I recently added grounding to my protocol, I’m sleeping so much better now. You mentioned quite a few pain issues. I’m currently using a device that utilizes your hand, you place your hand inside this device as it rests on a heat transfer pad. (think of it as a hand sauna). The palm of the hand has an unique vascular system. Because you’re putting heat in the body you now have warmer blood flowing to help relax the muscles and pinched nerves. It’s dilating the capillaries and gets them working, and suppling more oxygen and nutrients to all your cells. End result… Increased Circulation & Less Pain. 🫠

  • I have used Earthing products for six or seven years and have tried many different kinds. First, don't get the sheets. They lose their conductivity permanently if you sweat on them (thankfully, you have one of those testers so you'll know when that happens). My Earthing sheet lasted about a year. Also, be aware that you have to wash the sheets using a special soap that must be ordered online. It's said that it won't damage the silver fiber, but it's very expensive for soap. Washing the sheet all by itself in the machine is a big hassle too. Even if you don't tend to sweat at night, you will get sweaty if you sleep on a plastic mat, which of course the Earthing mats are. I guess this doesn't bother some people but I found it uncomfortable so I stopped taking the mat to bed with me. In my opinion, the stickers establish the best connection of all the products and are the easiest to sleep in. You can stick them to the bottom of your feet and supposedly due to reflexology principles, this will relay the benefit throughout the body. You can toss and turn in bed but they'll stay on. You can re-use them by affixing them with tape once the original adhesive loses its stickiness. I have tried the wrist bands and body bands for sleeping in, but they have to be quite snug to make the connection needed with skin. The metal component pressed against the skin becomes uncomfortable after a few hours because the skin needs air. I can never keep the body bands in place all night long. The mats are good in that they don't lose conductivity and they are fairly economical, but may be impractical in winter if you need to wear socks to keep your feet warm. Mats do require bare skin. In colder climates that makes them best suited for a computer wrist rest, in my opinion.

I want to mention in regards to your stomach inflammation - a lot of people are unaware that a lot of health issues stem from an unhealthy gut - as a result of what they eat - eventually leading to 'leaky gut'. You need to get onto foods that are rich in probiotics. I also strongly recommend bone broths. A brand called 'best of the bone' is excellent if you can get it. A teaspoon in a cup and drink like a cup of soup. Flavour with salt n pepper if you need. Amazing stuff and loads of benefits. You can do bone broth fasting to reset your body and strengthen your gut again. Look into anti inflammatory foods. Try to eat organic. I hope this helps a lot mate. Send me an update if you get this 💪

  • Thanks for your good info! I have been grounding for over 10 years now. I learned about it from a workshop with the scientist who did much of the science for the book, Earthing. Got the sheet and the first night I slept well and my restless leg syndrome ended. I’m 75 and I sleep really well since I started using the products. I have 4 diagnosed autoimmune disorders, the most painful is rheumatoid arthritis. Sleeping grounded and using various products during the day keeps all of my disorders in remission. Once it gets warm I spend as much time as I can outside barefoot in the grass. In consultation with an earthing expert I was told that the more serious the condition, the more time you need to stay grounded. Most will get results quickly, but you need to keep doing the grounding because your body is continuing to create the free radicals. A clean diet and other changes will also help.

  • I live in the U.S. The last four houses I’ve lived in had dirty electricity, and most houses and apartments do (because it’s cheaper for electricians to take shortcuts that work for devices, but it does not work for this application, especially when we’re talking millivolts). That said, plugging your mat into the ground hole in your electrical outlet actually doesn’t work. It’s not about testing for connectivity or ground faults, you need to use a multimeter and an emf meter to properly test. They make products to “fix” the dirty electricity for grounding mats, but I’ve never tried them. Connect the mat to copper wire and run it outside to a copper rod you jam into the earth. Then test with a multimeter. Using a emf meter is a great backup method. Cheers! ✌🏻❤

  • I found I couldn't sleep with a grounding setup. It would make me literally feel "wired." I made it a point to drive a giant copper rod down into the earth (far away from the home's service ground) and run a dedicated wire up to the bedroom. There are some people who caution against grounding or "earthing" in this way because in certain densely packed neighborhoods, you're likely to get stray voltage currents interfering with the ground and getting into the body. They're low, but disruptive. The other caution out there is that you literally become an antenna. So if some tele-comm company puts a cell tower outside your window, you don't have any shielding in your bedroom, and connect to a grounding mat - essentially you've just become an antenna and the waves travel through your body. The 3rd caution is around people taking a short-cut and connecting to the ground of their home's electrical system. With dirty electricity generated from devices and smart meters, it can hop onto neighboring wires. So it's not a clean connection to earth. The best way to get earthing is to do it out in nature (barefoot), away from the grid where so many neutrals are running to ground (common in the US). There's way too much current being sent to ground and it won't be solved, in the US anyway, until they re-engineer the grid to handle the scale it has reached.

    • Using the voltmeter that comes with Earthing products I discovered outlets in my home that I thought were grounded actually weren’t. My home is 105 years old and still has knob and tube wiring which doesn’t have a ground but is run into a curcuit board that’s grounded. Either way I love these mats/ products and am now making the investment to remove the old knob and tube and replace with property grounded romex wire. This is in the US.

      @rondasnyder4151@rondasnyder41518 ай бұрын
    • @@rondasnyder4151 I guess it's about how sensitive you are. I have measured that dirty electricity will hop two romex cables that run together parallel with staples. If those frequencies can jump Romex, they can definitely hop onto the ground. SYB DOES sell a product for this that cleans up the ground before you do earthing with it - if that's all you can do. I would still run a dedicated wire that's separate to the home's wiring (regardless of whether or not it's properly wired). That way I can kill the non-essential breakers at night and not count on an electrically powered device to filter the ground so earthing can be done.

So odd. Ask questions to satisfy your own vetting process. That's what people should do if they want to continuously improve their health and minds. • Grounding/earthing is helpful, but also keep in mind that we are moving into a Solar maximum cycle and when the Earth gets hit with a strong CME and/or other Solar energetic events, that energy temporarily overwhelms the Earth's magnetic field and penetrates into the Earth. It can also flip the polarity and particularly the ground conducts that energy strongly. So instead of negative ions, if you're grounded during when one of these types of event is hitting, you'll get bombarded with an excess of positively charged particles. The good news is that the Earth quickly absorbs/counter balances all this and goes back to excess of negative ions. But, keep track of Solar weather and disconnect your grounding equipment when one of these Solar events is hitting the earth and the geomagnetic storms get strong.

  • Thank you for sharing with us your experience.I practiced meditation for more than 20 years .. In my opinion, it is not nature that heals us, but the distance from nature that makes us sick. Once we understand this, we see that we can only be healthy in contact with nature. Science tries in vain to discover causes, and in vain tries to explain why a walk in nature is beneficial, why exposure to the sun is beneficial, why when we are part of nature we feel good. It's simple. Because we are one with life. That's how we're built.And this might be very simple and yet the most misterious in the same time.

  • Agree with all you say. I bought a carbon earthing mat and lie on it on my mattress and 10 days in I have never slept better - and have never felt more calm. I also bought blue blocker glasses to wear whilst watching my computer/tv from 6pm... I really like the less bright lights and still read or enjoy my viewing. I think the bed blanket is far better than the foot mat you showed as you lay for 8 hours solid on it - it to me has helped me sleep right through when like you I was waking 2am and not getting back to sleep ... now I sleep right through..

Naturally, now I’m in the market for readymade products - and here came your video - thanks👏😁💙

Carnivore with grassfed and pastured raised food is good way of trying for a couple months to get cleaned out of the bad stuff.

  • " I put my bare feet on the grounding pillow case over a regular pillow. It's comfortable and does the job. Yes, I sleep much better. Yes, my shoulder is now healed... I use only the pillow but I use it as a mat. I got 2 pairs of free flip flops that are grounding! I feel needles in my feet when I go outside and the earth is still wet. The conduction of electrons is very noticeable on a wet ground! Much more than the pillow that I purchased. I saw that Clint O. invented and created this in the 70's, so I purchased from his company. He is still alive. All the things you describe are included in this one purchase of the pillow case plus the gift: 2 pairs of flip flops. Even if it's a little more expensive, I love paying the genius who made this happen for our own good.

I fell into a deep sleep in the afternoon which I never do. I never knew about grounding then but soon learned about it all and found out it was a big thing. I will go through periods where I will wear the strap when on the laptop and have it on for hours.

  • Great video - Ive had a carbon grounded sheet on my bed for about 2 weeks now and my Sleep Quality score from my Fitbit watch went up from the late 80s to the early 90s and like you I now sleep longer and sounder. Its strapped to my mattress and I have cotton fitted sheets on top - apparently cotton is conductive so I'm still getting the benefits - the sheet goes to a rod out my window and into the ground.

  • I got interested in this a couple of years ago and got an earthing sheet and pillowcase via Amazon, can't remember the company name. Didn't make me feel anything or help my sleep. A friend was skeptical anyway, and I came to believe it was probably all nonsense. Your video inspired me to look again. The products I'd bought, finally tested with a voltmeter, did indeed prove to be useless, but I got a mat from groundology that works. Also realised I needed to earth my Apple laptop as it was giving off a lot of static electricity. I did it by taping one of my old earthing plugs and cables from the useless products to a metal part of the computer with metal tape. Instant cessation of electric crackle, removing the stress I'd been feeling using the computer. That's already quite a change, and it all started with you, so thank you. Early days with the earthing mat, but it feels good so far.
