Rubik's Cube In 12 Seconds: One Hand vs. Two Hands

One of the most common comments I get is "wow, this guy solves with one hand faster than I do with two hands." After seeing that comment enough times, I had an idea. What if I found someone who solves as fast with two hands as I do with one hand, and we could compare my solves to theirs on the same scrambles? That's what I did in this video :)

  • I have an idea for a video you could make. Remember a few years ago when people would boron treat their speedcubes to make them turn even faster and corner cut more? I've looked everywhere and I can't find a video of someone boron treating a rubik's brand cube. It seems like the most obvious experiment, right? See how much better you can make a Rubik's brand cube. But nobody ever tried it, and now boron treating cubes seems to have gone out of fashion. I don't know why, cos it definitely worked. The Cubicle used to sell boron treated Gans and Moyu etc so you didn't have to do it yourself, but they stopped doing that service for some reason. I might try this experiment myself, if you or anyone else never does it. But I don't really make KZhead videos. Boron treating a cube basically softens the plastic or something, and reduces any friction, so it turns and corner cuts like a dream. But yeah it'd just be a really cool experiment video.

    @NN-yy9gb@NN-yy9gb3 жыл бұрын
  • Wow thank you for making this. This is so interesting. I’ve never learned how to do OH. The only thing I know was, 2-gen is significantly better and you should do things 2-gen and use 2-gen algs if you ever can. I didn’t realize there’re such significant strategy differences, like solving crosses differently, prioritizing the EO and planning F2L differently as well. The look ahead part is rather interesting as well. As you get lower TPS, you get better look ahead from that and at the end that doesn’t cause as much as I expected. This was very entertaining. Keep up bro!
