I really love how they are using the backup dancers to their advantage to create more energy, because in their past choreographies the backup dancers only appear during chorus or at the end, I just love how the backup dancers are consistent through out the whole song and they really help BlackPink to stand out and create more and more energy😍

I really love Lisa's control, power, and musicality in this. She has full understanding of the song and she's in the beat and flows with it. She's not struggling to keep up. She also adds nuances in the choreo that the other girls are not doing (the others are good too) but she's just really amazing. Her power and charisma. They are right when they said the choreo really suit her. Our MAIN DANCER LISA! ALSO I commend Jisoo's improvement in dancing! She's improved a lot! And Rosé's vocals and Jennie's rap! 💗
@fernanda serna where? I don't think she made mistakes in this. But all of then make mistakes maybe not in this but on other performances. And that's okay. I didn't say she was perfect. It's just that she's a really good dancer
@fernanda serna it's not the same in the MV because they changed obviously. Everydone danced different in the MV not just Lisa. And she did not overdance. That's just a nuance that she added. A choreographer commented on it and said Lisa adds nuances to her dance that makes it look even better.

Many people forget the BLACKPINK choreographies are not made to be too intensive or "complicated" because they do have to perform these songs live. The choreo fits the song's vibe which is the most important, imo.

Their choreography is on brand with YG. With all the BP members being highly charismatic on stage, you really don't need to overdo it with complicated dance moves. Aespa and Itzy are known to be more complicated choreography but as we all can see, these groups tend to fall flat when they perform on stage so they're overcompensating with the choreography.
Everglow has complicated dance choreos AND they all have stage presence. So BP is just slacking off. And tbh, I get why they are. They are a phenomenon worldwide so I feel like they're just being complacent because they can afford to.

YG DANCE MOVES isn't just simple or easy. it's simple if you watch their dance practice but if you'd try their dance choreography you will know what's your different with them. Maybe you can dance and copy the dances step but not the YG stage presence, or charisma. And that's what im talking about. training w dance, their highlights when it comes to dance is charismatic/stage presence. They just walk or standing you will see or sense their charisma or stage presence. If you see their (blackpink) dancing skills before way back trainee days you will see that blackpink can do more than that. And BLACKPINK are the BIGGEST KPOP GG, not just in south korea but worldwide because of their TALENTS (like all around. they can be actress, singer, dancer, model, game avatars, etc) and because they're down to earth (they're humble ppl) that's the reason why many ppl called them QUEENS or BIGGEST KPOP GG. And that's your faves can't experienced that. (if you have kpop faves) Don't belittled the YG COMPANY or BLACKPINK TALENTS. they're sometimes annoying but they're amazing too. (YG COMPANY)

I don’t know if there’s a term or concept for this but for the finale / dance break session, it’s like the backup dancers have a small delay in the movements compared to the pinks. I think it’s another nod to the concept for the cult like chant in the intro of the music video and also having being poisoned with the venom and being addicted

I love *love* the fact that Jennie, Rosé and Lisa all incorporated a move/reference from each of their solo songs into the choreography!! And though Jisoo didn't have one, I love the little dance break she had as well as the Chaesoo dance break towards the end 😊 And Waleska said it best about the backup dancers, they do such a good job set-building basically and giving the whole choreo even more depth! 👍

VMA's on the 28th... Have to say I LOVE the Dance Practice, maybe more than the M/V... maybe When They "framed" Rosé they actually made the shape of a crown. Don't blink you'll miss it. 😇 The first time I heard the song... I was unsure, possibly because of the insane amount of cutting in the M/V. But I love it, think it's great... It's not my number one, but it's very good. And yes I've watched it MANY TIMES... with and without the M/V, as well as watching the M/V without sound.

I think the Dancers (I don't use the term backup) had LeeJung's signature all over it. If you l; look back at Money and On the Ground, you will see what I mean. They make a "moving Picture Frame" for the Pinks to dance in. the whole thing is very intricate and I don't think the VMA's are ready for this..lol

I 💗 this dance choreography!!! They all killed it. Each member was spotlighted beautifully. Jennie looks like she came back from their “break” refreshed and ready to go. Rose is brought in HYLT and said she not letting up. Lisa is one of my favorite dancers and performer. BUT Jisoo said hold up! I’m right here and you know you want to look 👀 at me lol I couldn’t take my eyes off her when they came together as a group. Such talented ladies 💗

I think a lot of the hate is from younger fans whose musical tastes must have changed over the past couple years. It is extremely common to like an artist as a teenager, and then a few years later they come out with new material and it just doesn't make you feel the same way. For older people such as myself, this song is what I was hoping for and I love it.
The dance practice looks soooo good. I felt like a notice one or two “mistakes”? There’s one part at the end where Jennie puts arms up but the others don’t. Maybe that’s on purpose?
I think it is the “get them, get them, get them” part, right? If it is, it is on purpose, because Jennie is singing this line (Lisa also does it on another part of the song).
