It would have been nice to hear the machine run instead of the music
Yes, i get fed up with crap music when we actually want to hear a machine running
It looked like it had 2 train engines in it.

I totally need one of these for my back yard garden!
…or L.A. traffic!
It is good for gardening. I have 8
No arguement with the neighbours.
@@campervanman5340 yeah you could demolish there house 😂
oh are you planning on relocating your whole backyard to a garden?
An Excavator where the service technician literally *walks* through the engine room ! Holy Sh... What a Giant.
I'm picturing there's an office in there for the chief engineer lol..

The body of a track hoe is commonly referred to as “the house”. This particular model appears to have such a large house it has hallways and separate rooms...
90 tons a bucket??? Dang... this thing can throw around a main battle tank easily 😲
Saw a dragline pick up a D11 like a matchbox toy once. Fucking thing weighs well over 200,000lb
@@mattrixx007 That's the density, assuming 1.8 tons per cube of dirt. The description says 85.5 tons capacity if you have the ability to do middle school math
@@mattrixx007 you dense?
@@mattrixx007 10 tons? Damn… I knew people didn’t know alot about everythijg, but claiming max 10 tons 😂😂 Dude, dig deeper into mining. A regular truck for the road can take 30 tons. 10 tons is nothing 😂
Jsyk a usual load for a offroad truck with dually tires is anywhere between 345 and 400 tons, thats the normal weight, maybe could withstand more but would put to much strain on the drive train
It is amusing to learn that even in 2020 mining is still done by a guy with a big shovel and a guy with a big wheelbarrow.
How else do you suppose it should be done ?
@@tburr7502 With an App, probably.
Just imagine the hours of engineering that went into creating something like this!
Imagine the fuel bill to operate such A massive piece of machinery for A 12 hour shift
@@forfuxakes6814 for sure, but you have to consider... they are saving HOURS of payroll and trucks running which are also burning fuel, waiting for loads.. this thing keeps 90 ton dump trucks moving along efficiently, 24 hours per day... otherwise they would need several smaller loaders to do this volume of work in the short amount of time this machine is capable of. I'm sure the profits outweigh the fuel costs heavily!
not much at all . they just scaled up a Dingo Digger "I know ! how about we just build a really big one !" "all those in favour say aye" AAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaYYYYYYYyyyyyyyyEEEeeeeeeeeeee The Aye's win
It's mind boggling.
@@treeoflibertydefense8612 yes that is all correct 👍🏻 I was just wondering what the fuel consumption is for such A massive piece of Machinery?
German workmanship👍
Nice to see the transport and assembly. Would've loved to hear it start & run.
I own one of these. It's an absolute beast! .....And it's made outta LEGOs! 🤘😂
This needs to be a Home Depot rental.
This was filmed in Australia we don't have home depot unfortunately.
@@PBST_RAIDZ No, thats fortunate. With home depots, come large populations of idiots
It can easily go on the freeway. One track in the northbound lane and one track in the southbound.
Jesus, those dump trucks are behemoths, and the excavator fills them with 3 shovels. And makes them look small.... truly a marvel.
My nephew drives those big dump trucks at the Boron mine. I'm just waking up, right now I can't remember the model. But it's 250 tons capacity. The tires are 11 ft in diameter.
In the first loading footage the trucks being driven are Komatsu 930e's they have a payload of 330 tonnes and a governed top speed of 54kph, they stand 7.4 metres tall and they're actually easier to drive than a car imo
I used to work around several very large surface mining shovels in the same part of the country as the Big Muskie dragline, the largest being the Gem of Egypt and the Silver Spade. Buckets were in the 110-120 cubic yard range...the size of a garage. The machines were around 200 feet tall, truly amazing pieces of machinery
How long would it normally take to FILL one of those dumper trucks?
@@JETJOOBOY You could just about drive one of those trucks into the Big Muskie's bucket...
And to think theres a even bigger shovel, the Marion 6360 The captain weights 2x more than the Gem of Egypt, and has a capacity of 180 cubic yards. Its operating weight, estimated to be some 15,000 tons.
@@UnknownMemoryOfTheDistantStar lol 30,000,000 pounds 😅
Bob, that sounds great but I've no idea how big that is. What about in tonnes weight and metres height?
Incredibly powerful machine!
Damn, I want one of these! Ok, I'll settle for a $400 die-cast model!
Get the lego technic model
@@johnjoe769 Grab it while it's still under $500 USD on Amazon. It's a monster and with all the batteries in the 2 motors and the iPhone app, kinda fun to operate.
LEGO makes a RC version. I have one. uses a smartphone
@@calibre97 it has 7 motors, 3 x XL, and 4 x L....
Can't imagine the logistic and cost nightmare of a track popping off. Also, how many bathtubs worth of grease are pumped into this guy? "CHECK OIL AND GREASE DAILY" lol
What a machine ! ! Very impressive, scary and intimidating ! ! Quite a team needed to keep that beast running and happy.

The amount of hydraulic fluid this thing takes is insane.
and how about grease!
2 beds 1 bath with a beautiful patio.
*I can say without a doubt I am impressed!!!*
One scoop fills a dump truck. Amazing
Spent a week a the Liebheer factory in Germany on one of those with the prototype engine heat shields many years ago just before they was released for sale .... impressive machines ....
The Liebherr 9800 is produced in the Liebherr plant, Colmar, France🇨🇵
I would hate to do bushings, pins and line bore on that beast.
I'd love to do that
Image replacing the seals in the lift cylinder
Or just replace one of the main lifting cylinders

"Constructicons, transform into Devastator!"

👍👍👍👍
I know how it feels to control this monster. I have my own lego technics set of this beast.
I’m jealous 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Yes very comparable!
.same here. It's a shame they made it a face shovel setup instead of the backhoe
In a 1:1 ratio? :D
@@henrikhyrup3995 Do you watch those Lego gearing videos?
I would be one of many boilermakers that replace the wear packages and G.E.T on the bucket. You never get over how big these machines are..
If i were younger i would move to germany and i would apply to work for this company there is no better technology than the german tech what an awesome company this
You probably need an engineering degree to work in the coffee shop lol, sure is awesome
The machine is german but this was filmed in Australia by the looks of it
Just imagine the cost to transport and assemble and then realize it's a write off and never move from the spot!
It’s hard to imagine these are financially practical
That's one big LEGO set.
Such groundbreaking technology
Would love to just see one of these working
Liebherr R9800 definitely is a very large machine but the world record holds the German made O&K RH400, later owned by TEREX, then Bucyrus and now is produced by Caterpillar Inc. under the name Cat 6090 FS. It now has an operating weight of 1000 t, 37.0 - 55.0 m3 bucket and Engine Output of 3360 kW (4,500 hp). For a few years Cat developed an even larger model, based on Cat 6090. It was called 6120B H FS and had an operating weight of 1270 t. The machine had a diesel-electrical hybrid engines of 4500 hp and a 65 m3 bucket. Unfortunately, only 2 units were made and they met many difficulties to operate and the project was eventually shut down.
Intrigued, my Maternal Grandfather used to work for Bucyrus-Erie! Not real sure what his job was, tho! I like watching hulking big machines in operation! I was wondering if you know the type & capacity of those trucks & how many scoops it takes to fill them?
Actually the biggest excavator in the world is Bagger 293 by german company TAKRAF. Weight: 14.200 metric tons Power: 16.5 MW (22.500 hp) 18 buckets with 15 m³ each
@@abcdefg3386 I made a correction only for the hydraulic ones. And yes, 288 and 293 are the biggest and heavist excavators ever built! :)
Im guessing they mean as a backhoe. The RH400/6090 is only a front shovel.
I'm surprised how small the diameter of the rams moving the boom, dipper and bucket are in comparison to the scale of the parts they are actuating. The hydraulics must operate at a very high fluid pressure. Impressive!.

interesting to know what pumps are on this monster? the video shows only a tandem of two closed circuit pumps, most likely for the operation of the swing motors.
wow, it's a big bugger alright, sorry to state the obvious but it looks so solid and well made. I've stood next to some huge dumptrucks and been awed, but nothing this big.

That thing prob has a harder time moving itself around rather than dirt.
This machine seems very efficient
It's crazy to think that the machine is really just made out of a lot of the same stuff that they use it to dig out of the ground.
