    • 🔴 LIVE: Yes, Prime Minister Best of Series 2 LIVESTREAM! | BBC Comedy Greats 1019am 23.5.23 strange that you cant get decent and well-known actors and actresses to do comedy, these days. perhaps the scripts are just too shit!? as for politics per se - the health service's desire to keep you all under lock and key and have you scrutinized by well-meaning and professional oppos - give me a break!!! - has come another step closer as they, the health service, "strike" to allow governmental institutions to implement such draconian measures. all those guys needed to do was request a pay rise just below the threshold wherein they would be taxed to the hilt and perhaps would have found themselves better off...as it is they're asking the world ie: demanding a large pay rise and will be penalised for it... ie: they wont be any better off than when they began as they'll be taxed to the hilt.

  • Brilliant. Nothing has changed since these witty, and brutally truthful lines were spoken. A supreme, and hilarious humour in Britain, is the common people watching these TV series, plus the government with its overdose of burocracy, knowing the facts of corruption in parliament and parties, the use of woolly, wordy statements and speeches, while, to this day, those skills are honed, bringing the practitioners into an almost full hypnotic state of selfmade belief. What kind of change on that island, the Seat of Mars, has made life easier, to this day? Anyone?

These days there are political advisers (think Dominic Cummings) who wield the power; older civil servants have retired; there have been years of cuts, tremendous hostility from Tories and the media ('lazy civil servants working from home' etc), and a lot of low morale.
