You know, it's good to witness their humble beginnings. People's stereotypes about being in the big 3 gives you the automatic privilege, but no. Ikonics witnessed everything, both their downfall and success. From the previous episodes we have seen them so down because some people weren't able to recognize them. I hope their wishes one day will come true and as a fan I will be honored to have witnessed it.
hey. so i get what you're saying- but i also think this comment is a bit tone deaf. Big three IS a privilege. Even if it doesn't guarantee you automatic comfort as a trainee or idol. The boys were luck to get put on a program, luck to showcase their talents before debut. We're all lucky we got to know them. If they were just trainees in a regular company, fact is they would have been cut and be stuck in debt. Trainees and idols from smaller companies have it wayyyyyyyy worse, even if what WINNER and ikon went through was bad. Im an ikonic and i do wish the best for my babies though :D

@@itsmysecret6432 I wouldn’t really say it’s lucky to get put on a survival based program, especially when it’s in the music industry. These type of competition/survival shows can be very stressful and damaging to ones mental health. For a Kpop group like iKON who’s apart of the big companies, having to go through 2 really brutal ones at such a young age is really not a good thing. Health problems can arise during shows like these and therefore many will not handle it well. Win and Mix & Match are designed to create the best sort of idols but in order to do that, big companies place a lot of work load, high level training, expectations and heavy responsibilities on these young trainees because they have a reputation to uphold. Also it doesn’t help that their success and failures will not only be judged by professionals right from the start but also includes the general public views and input. They will be heavily monitored and critiqued much more harshly compared to trainees that went to a not so well known company. It’s kinda similar to if you attend dance academies/schools. Honestly to some it may look like an easy thing to be apart of a big company but what people don’t see is that it comes with a huge burden. The media, company and general public will be at your throats every single day the minute you join. You will not survive in a company that’s always in the spotlight without having a strong and solid mental game. It’s just not possible without having that drive to push yourself so much harder because the expectations of your performances are at a way higher level compared to a trainee that from a company nobody knows. Otherwise your out and it can really hurt a person to fail at company like YG

Yes Big 3 gives you privilege but at the same time you must be up to their worth of privilege and to be worth there is endless hardship and competition with many others.... Many don't know that there is too much competition in the so called Big 3. It's something similar to your college entrance exam, for a very high reputed college there is high competition to get admitted and you can't just enter that college..... To get what they want, yes, they have to fight with their mental health and physical health, humiliation, media, public view, downfall, etc. Then how would they be this talented and still doing good? Also showcasing their talent can be done in many ways rather than saying it's good that Big 3 allows you to showcase their talent, but no it's depends on how the public views like there are many good singers and dancers who are underrated and not properly recognized because you may think through it yourself why and there are many members under Big 3 as idols but their talent is not seen properly and the company is seen being ignorant of it like for example in NCT you can see, there are many members but only few of them have that popularity privilege, I mean some who newly joined or who are rarely seen in MVs.... The moment when a person becomes an idol in those big companies, they are exposed to the media, high expectations from the public and the company, company burden, continuous schedules without proper sleeps, sometimes mistreatment and hate, not having regular meals, diet, etc. Also the trainee life in the Big 3 is not easy, they have weekly evaluation (in SM mainly) where they have to show what their singing and dancing and other things, and there is ranking system too..... Survival shows are really burdensome sometimes..... Also if you see the promotions, SM not giving EXO promotion, JYP for GOT7, YG for iKON themselves and WINNER I guess.... It's not the company that gave privilege, it's them themselves who brought that privilege for themselves by their hard work, then how would EXO, GOT7, iKON be known even without promotions?? It's them who brought that name for themselves, the company is just eating the money they brought, the company is nothing without these idols..... The before 1st and 2nd generation (TVXQ, Big Bang, GG, Shinee, BoA, 2PM, Wonder Girls, etc.) idols worked their ass off to bring a name to the so called the privileged Big 3, otherwise there would not be SM, YG and JYP also BTS brought a name for Big Hit and this will help the future idols to get the privilege to get promoted or have a good name and get help to be seen by the public and the Big 3 started with nothing and they were also small company once upon a time and they did help in the financial crises of Korea once upon a time..... Also there are many good idols in the Big 3 and other known big companies so the small companies are rarely seen by the public and other big companies dominate them and there are many talented idols who are working 10x the idols from small companies (I am not saying small company idols don't work hard but compared to what these privileged idols go through is something different). If there is anything that I said wrong, please correct me and I will be sure to add them.....

I don't know how many of you will support me but I think in my opinion B.I deserved one more chance. He was caught while ATTEMPTING ,he didn't purchased them. He was caught while ATTEMPTING, ATTEMPTING. Hanbin is really a nice guy, an obedient mumma's boy, a sweet elder brother and of course a caring and supporting leader. If he gets one more chance , I am sure that in his second chance he won't do something disappointing. He will learn a lesson from his previous mistake. I think B.I deserved one more chance. Watching this after the whole Hanbin situation. I know I will support Ikon. Probably much stronger now than ever. But i cant get over the fact that YG let Hanbin go so fast, so quick. I wanna support the artist. I really do and i will. Even if YG threw Hanbin under the bus. Hanbin will come back. He is meant to go solo. Stronger than ever. Just like Park Bom. Comeback without YG.
YG didnt throw away Hanbin instead YG tried to cover up the drug scandal for B.I but it backfired., it was Hanbin's choice to leave ikon and YG. After YG experienced former Winner's Taehyun's depression they became more careful with their artists, they gave Winner and Taehyun 2 years for him to recover but Taehyun chose to leave since he didn't want to drag the group down. YG isn't as bad as u think, and if u don't know the situation properly don't blame others just because other fans are blaming the company. I'm an ikonic and Blink myself, I feel sad when people accuse YG for things him and his artists haven't done. It was Hanbin's choice to leave so let's just hope he stays well, we should respect his choice.

I have watched and rewatced iKON TV so many times. Lost count. But starting to notice their little habits especially BI. Esp since BI's actions usually get overlooked or misinterpreted by others. Honestly I didn't find anything wrong with his actions, cause I feel he is a mixture of being himself at times then he holds back cause he is the leader and most of the criticism would fall on him. He of course still tells his members what to do. Like in episode 2 he was the one who told June to give the fans hug when June won 1st place for the college students. Then in episode 4, situation with the pull ups, it seems like he was something against the PD even though PD is the weak but endearing addition. But BI was really joking around or not letting out that he can do pull ups so smoothly. Basically he was bluffing, the downstairs team. He was awesome at pull ups though. Anyways from the games I can tell he is not active in them even though he is athletic body but he is a homebody and workaholic. Can be lacking in some aspects but he is considerate & kind esp when giving food like in the hiking Anyways If I understood correctly Song was the one who suggested pull ups cause he know BI is good at it. Then here BI, told Song to ask the fans and ppl at the ramen place if they could film and take pics. Ep 7 was a mix comments from ppl on BI, praises and criticism of course. I understand in the sense that he should have really stick with the female writer more but he is also an idol and leader if he gets in a fight well.. anyways i did noticed his main aim was to get their manager and in my opinion he may lacked in some aspects but he tried his best to protect her even though you can tell he was scared. Thankfully it was just a prank by Jay. And the guy can't really do anything if they were still inside the building. He is careful, pessimistic, does his best and when he is challenged or pressurd he gets serious. Bobby is quiet manly and observant. Obviously he did well when he was pranked by Jay but he noticed the cameras already. Had a feeling if he didnt notice he would be more tough because of how the members were acting when it was Bobbys turn to be pranked. Like they are making sure he he doesn't get pissed. Bobby probably has a protective streak. Here in ep 8 he showed his game on side like not really minding he has to dress as a girl and of course in his ep too. He is laid back and knows what he is doing Anyways Song has this habit looking out for the others like in ep 6 with Bobby and ep 7 with the female writer and his members and Song likes really keeping in mind what BI says like in ep 4, his ep 5 & 6.He is funny and a sweetheart. Jay is like Bobby, quiet and observant. And usually ears turn red when he is embarrassed. Funny, silly and sweet Chan is also quiet and observant and you can tell is is a smart guy. Works hard. Enjos what he loves June is interesting mix of loud and quiet cause of his poet side and he is weirdly endearing. DK is a cutie. A mixture of innocence or maybe playfulness is a better term and manly. Esp with his ice cream icream back in the first episodes. Anyways all the members are cute, silly, true to themselves, endearing, hardworking and sweet in their own way and have interesting deep personalities. Anyways I don't mean offense but this is how I find them and I like them 💗💗💗
I will act like Hanbin if the writer-man situation occur to me😊 Me and Hanbin have almost the same personality so I really understand his action and that is why I adore him so much. It’s like looking at your own-self on tv but your part has been played by someone else🤣 He is being truth to himself and the world . I hope Hanbin will maintain this attitude forever because that’s make me drawn to him😊 For other members, they have their own unique personalities that make them different from one another and I really love seeing them😁
