They Added Acute Radiation Syndrome To Create⁉⁉❓😱😱😱
Yep they did
Lesss go!
AWSOME!!!!!!!
Accually first
Oo
It seems like you don't know this, but you can use an infinite water source for steam engines. You can avoid using creative fluid tanks that way.
Yup cactus laughed at me for using the creative fluid tank lol
Wait whatttt? I thought they made a way to make it do u cant use infinite water oh oh OHHHH i was thinking of a different mod my bad
@@qtgaming6902no, you’re partially right. The retractable pump (Forget the name) can’t do infinite water sources unless the water source is REALLY large.
That’s correct. If I’m right you need 10000 connected water blocks which means you normally have to connect it to a river or ocean.
@@derbarbar584you actually need a 2 by 2 square
"Nothing happened". Faimous last words
Bro misspelled famous lmao
faimous
faymus
mmmm Faimous...
My favorite way to get a steam engine going is to feed the blaze burners and water pump with a hand crank to jump start the whole thing with its own power. Really adds to the whole steampunk vibe
I also use cranks as a jumpstart for my steam engines, though I sometimes have to use a clutch to close the system so it only powers the engine and not *the entire machine* lol
i use a crank bc its easier to type in the search bar
Reminds me of how cars used to have a hand crank you needed to yoink in order to start the engine and maybe liberate your body of arms.
@@creepaze Dad's pickup has hand crank windows
@@creepaze if i remember correctly, one liberated a man's jaw
Small tips^_^: Each engine can only output 16384 su maximum. 9*16384=147,456. Which is smaller than 294,912(the maximum SU of a level 18 boiler). So, 18 engine will be needed use all the su fully
yeah he only used 9 steam engines
see, now THIS is news to me I thought that using more engines only divided the total su among the engines, had no idea about this (then again I only tend to use campfires for my engines in survival lol
@@rydergolde3169i’m glad they do evenly spread out the su but with a limit it makes it challenging to have only 1 engine and a level 9 boiler
what did you just say
a nuclear power plant is a steam engine with uranium shoved inside lol
Technically yes
Finally someone with my understanding
Most of Power generation be it electrical or rotational is technically Just making hot Steam turn stuff
We are very good at making things spin lol
Pretty much lmao
The nuclear reactor can act as an alternative to blaze burners and superheaters. That’s the entire purpose of the heating system in create new age
yea, though I wish they had upgraded ways to output heat, like higher tier heat pipes (or maybe compat with Mekanism?)
You just need to make more efficent piping, its a pain but youll have to minimum double up on the piping.@@rydergolde3169
@@rydergolde3169unless forge has a heat system then I doubt it would be compatible
12:46 cactus: *breaks glass* Shalz: nothing happened Both: *gets damged by radiation* Both: OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
0:45 oh he is so happy to make a nuclear power plant nyuemyemyemye -shalz
Lol
The second I saw reactor in my survival world it was my soul goal 😂
"That's the thing about nuclear. _It wins._ Either way..." Truer words never spoken, Shalz. If only others would see it that way...
I won right?!?
By a landslide 👨🔬
No and yes
No!
The reason the nuclear had such small output is because youre supposed to pump the heat into a steam engine as an alternative to blaze burners. Stirling engines are very inefficient
True
that's how an actual nuclear reactor works yeah
"Oh, nothing happened" famous last words.
"Oh, nothing happened" gives me "Not great, not terrible" vibes XD
1:00 Interesting idea
The literal ocean they’re building on top of: *Exists* Shalz: So, we need infinite water so I’m going to probably break the rules and use creative-only stuff
For feedback: I liked both the builds! Cactus has a very detailed nuclear plant, and the substations look great. Your building did look a bit flat - it could probably use more decoration (windows, machinery, etc. on the walls or ceiling, and some more detail inside maybe), but the scenery looks amazing (call me biased 🙃)!
This dropped at the perfect time, thank you. Great video
We getting another limb with this one🗣🔥🔥‼️⁉️⁉️‼️‼️
Best series I've ever watched
you had a ocean right beneath you and you chose to use creative motors lmao
Someone once described a nuclear plant as “a really expensive way to boil water”
Another great video! By the way, at 3:25, you don't need to use a mechanical arm to feed deployers to put fuel into blaze burners - the mechanical arm can put the fuel directly into the blaze burner!
Someone might have already said something but I think FE stands for forge energy which is the delult electicty base made by forge so different mods can work together using the same base. But I might be completely wrong so don't take my word for it. (Sorry for the paragraph)
You are correct, Forge Energy is a default power base for Forge mods :D Of course, RF(Redstone Flux) still exists, but I'm pretty sure it has compatibility with Forge Energy built in.
@@mdbgamer556 RF is FE, just the old name for it. RF became FE when forge added it instead of thermal.
radiation damage jumpscare my beloved
Nuclear reactor heating Stirling-engines is such a weird clash of technological eras
the first thing I watch when I come home:
As a resident of the post-Soviet space, I think that the joke about Chernobyl is very realistic
As a person interested in nuclear power I find it very unrealistic
I think the Chornobyl tragedy isn't the thing to joke about :/
@@KitNemej it's been 40 years mate
@@LineOfThy ok, and?
@@KitNemej get over it
"Nothing happened" *starts dying* 💀
just thought id let you know mate the power output is measured in whats called 'ticks' in vanilla Minecraft thats what its called so i assume that the 't' means ticks in the create mod as well but love your videos keep it up
Loved the video @Shalz! Can't wait for the next video man! How'd you enjoy getting Radiation Poisoning with the Create Mod LMAO? Also, Create build Battle with Theomonty and Cactus using Create: Diesel Generators and Create: Oil Refineries (the Create Mod that adds Oil into Minecraft) when?
Shalz's video on Destroy confirmed?
I like how he said "GOOO!" His sound was the same as the sound effect
Random tip: you can actually make a mechanical arm feed the blaze burners Instead of arm>deployers>blaze Plus,it has the advantage of not...wasting resources The arm will only input cakes/lava/etc when a blaze runs out So u dont have multiple deployers with stacks of cakes that dont go anywhere until the blaze runs out
a nuclear power plant is just a fancy way to make steam
From what i can see the nuclear reactor is also making 1.1k fe/tick, and there are two (at least it looks like thaf from the outside), so i'm saying it's a tie
I just love the "It idi nothing" 2 seconds later: AHHHH
The 0 wasted stress units would have been a huge flex against cactus
11:40 "I am gonna SSsssssEEesh on your build now."
FE/t is forge energy units per tick, this was made after thermal expansion introduced redstone flux, meaning that anything running on RF can run on FE
couple things, one, why a creativ water Tank, when a pump can take the water directly from an infinit water source, two, you can use the Mechanical Arm to put items directly into the blaze burners, no need for deployers
I was so confused why you didn't just use the ocean for your steam engine
True!
HBM's nuclear tech mod (even if it's on the older side of mods) will always take the cake for being the best nuclear power / weapons mod
Agree, especially because of the nostalgia value. But I think create mod and its addons is still way better in terms of graphics and creativity.
I'm gonna give this win for Shalz because noob cactus didn't knew that he is supposed to use the nuclear reactor to boil water for steam engines with the boiler plate XD
The mistake cactus made is using the little wheel things, if you instead power a steam engine with nuclear boiler things he could have had like 5k for each engine
infinite water source: exists shalz: lol no
1:36 I love that quote
You don’t need to use deployers you can just use a mechanical arm, also you could have covered the entirety of the boiler with steam engine Ins to have loads more stress capacity
Shalz... Different magnets give different energy outputs...
breaks glass barrier protecting you from nuclear radiation "huh, nothing happened..." gets sick all of a sudden "AAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!"
you have a unique way of making complex topics accessible! ️
What would've been much more effective for cactus is if he used the heat on boilers instead of Stirling Engines. Stirling Engines are generally super weak, but I've gotten some designs get hundreds of thousands of Stress Units a 3x3x10 area of Reactor Rods.
cactus should've taken advantage of the boiler heaters in Create: New Age, with his nuclear setup he could've very easily made a few max level steam engines spinning more magnets producing more su and electricity.
i love when shalz makes a video
Fun fact: Nuclear power plants also produce steam to turn turbines to make electicity. Same as fossile fuel plants. The fuel just is different.
YES FINNALY A NEW VID THX SHALZ
lmao i didnt expect the chernobyl joke
I recommend using the Ad Astra mod. It’s an extremely high quality space mod that’s compatible with Create. 😊
1. I am pretty sure Redstone magnets are lv3, but one of the two fully-blue blocks are the maximum 5th tier of magnet 2. 8:05 putting both generators onto one line might be bottlenecking your power, it’s better to give each generator their own line (but I guess it’s limited by them being joined onto one line for the motor anyways)
When survival and i watch every video you now upload
Pov:Shalz posted vid Me: happy❤
the timing of this video is crazy! my friends and i literally just finished making our nuclear fuel farm a few days ago. now we have more nuclear fuel than we know what to do with haha. we found that 6 reactor rods with 1 fuel each can comfortably power a max level steam engine for about 10 minutes. so cactus couldve totally won that xd
Oh that's so awesome!! (except for the cactus winning part, I'll pretend I didn't read that)
These videos are awesome, and i love the editing and commentary.
Haha My Guy Is Quite The Master Architect And An Amazing Genius Of The Create Mod.
I think Cactus forwent a LOT of potential power from his reactors, honestly. Both builds look really cool though. 👍
Real life powerlines carry powerlines in multiples of 3 usually. Most powerlines have two "circuits" so 6 wires total carrying power, so you can make semi-prototypical powerlines with six wires to split the power between. (We don't have three phase in Minecraft Create so we get the benefit of having each of the three phases just being another wire to share the main "phase" with). I'd love it if the create mod had proper electrical circuits so you could do three phase transmission or if you were using regular single phase you'd have to create the return wire back to the generator.
Bro cheated in a creative water tank when he's directly above the ocean

BRO THE THUMBNAIL LPOOKS SO GOOD, I know its a fire vid already
Dayum, Create going addons going wild... I wonder if missiles will be next? 🤔
Create big cannons exists and it's basicslly a missile
Create liftoff is in development It's like ad Astra, but you make your own rockets And missiles You can literally nuke villagers with custom made missiles with liftoff (When it gets finished of course)
@@saiashadoesstuff1133 True
Shalz, you should post a tutorial on your mail system from your last create mod survival video.
Bro the reactor placed in the evaporation chambers and the electricity output in the containment room is literally foul 😭😭😭
why was the nuclear reactor in the cooling tower?
This new electricity thing is super cool please make more videos like this
I like how little he knows about steam engines, and how much you knows about converting rotational energy to electricity.
there is actually a create new age block that works similar to a blaze burner that uses nuclear power to function, maybe check that out as Stirling engines are very bad for nuclear power from my limited experience.
Bro had a generator inside his room ☠️☠️☠️
someone needs to teach this guy about create schematics
catus used the sterling engines but that mod has a heater that you can hook up to the reactor using the heat pipes and replace the blaze burners in a steam engine which is also more realistic
Yeah, his problem with the nuclear power plant was using sterling engines, he should have used a steam engine, heated by the reactor, that creates way more stress units than the stirling engines could ever dream of
EXACTLLY, I found it ironic when he said "I bet catus us going to make a nuclear power plant" and then promptlly says "anyways I'm going to be building a steam engine" lol
What a random Update Ps: like your create series
Bro i love your content keep on making awesome videos cant wait for more survival create mod you made me start my own create server with my freinds and its so much fun ❤❤❤
you can actually have a mechanical hand put blaze cakes into blaze burners directly (at least on 1.18.2), that's what i did on my steam engines and it's much smaller
11:55 "No way of coming?" ayyy yooo thats sus and the camera also zooms out as shalz sayas that
I love snaps videos I literally wait to get something to eat then I start watching but one flaw he has is his upload schedule but I know it takes a while for his videos that why there so good
I want train thumbnails back like just try to fit a nuclear plant in a train
This is the first video where I think it's kind of a tie. Shalz wins for efficiency, but Cactus' build was cooler. Points for radiation poisoning.
2 things, 1. just use an infinite water source, 2 mechanical arms can distribute blaze cakes to blaze burners directly
Shalz please make your create survival video i just cant wait 😭
The fact i would have to know how an actual nuclear reactor works in order to make it in-game 💀
*adds more electrical stuff*, fixed it.
Hmm I see some blocks and effects from the destroy mod are we going to get a Shalz video on that!? Love your videos!
good shalz thatk you for design
Chernobyl failed because they were underfunded and skipped safety precautions. Nuclear is safe when done properly, like most things. If you follow the rules and do it properly things work fine. It’s just that Nuclear will solve our energy and emissions problem until we figure out fusion and it’s so frustrating we don’t use it!!
Add this stuff in your survival world
Place a deployer above a 2x2 field water and let it use an empty bucket. When its full an mechanical belt bring it to a item drain what takes the water out and put it in the tank, the empty bucket will be bring back to the deployer
you should add some energy storage in the plant so your not wasting any electricty and you have a back up if it fails
The Cactus build is insane because instead of Stirling engines, he could have used the heat from the nuclear reactor to heat a steam engine and generate way more power.
Yaaaay cactuswe is back 🎉🎉🎉
what block is that connecting the 2 shafts together at 6:00?
did you ever figure it out? i would love to know as well
