PSA: do NOT use dirt in the end EVER. Endermen can pick it up and get to you if you do the two high trick. Also they will destroy your bridges. I have made a grave error recently.

As a bedrock player, i don't have advancements
We call them achievements it’s only java they are called advancements

@@robin09291 Achievements aren't world-based like in Java either.
A stone axe may do more damage than a netherite sword, but there is one major downside: stone weapons and tools have much lower durability than netherite. even with enchantments, you'll probably spend more time at an exp farm with a stone tool than a netherite one.
Very good enchantments Are required to make a netherite Sword better than a stone axe
@@AuroraNuyen-oh4bf If you are talking about dps then yeah you would need enchantments, but I'd still take a unenchanted netherite sword over an enchanted stone axe due to the swords much higher durability. Or just get a netherite axe. much higher dps and much more durability.
i think the reason why axe seemingly has lower durability is you can still use it as a weapon, but if you use it like a weapon instead of a tool, it will take 2 durability damage instead of 1
I try to build floors in larger builds on Y levels that end in 3 or 8. * It automatically matches the world water level. * It helps connect your faraway buildings together. * It makes all of your rooms 4 blocks high beneath each ceiling, and allows more elegant ceilings while still leaving 3 block high walls.
2:02
I also do this, I like to build underground bases in grids basically. From y-level 65 I build rooms that are 12x12x5 on said grid, giving each room a buffer of 1 block so I can build more complex walls with depth. If I want bigger rooms I can also just tear down the walls between the rooms. I like my system for underground building since it makes it so I never run into my rooms I've built already and can keep things connected cleanly. The only downside is mining out all the stone for it but hey, I got a dwarf play style anyways so it doesn't bother me.
Also if you play bedrock then you can hide lighting using slabs and stairs, light will shine through them since they aren't full blocks.
it only shines through them in bedrock
@@gegloos6837 I didn't know that, I only play bedrock but I'll note it down, thanks
@@gegloos6837i always do floor lights like old minecraft i remember digging two down and placing glass on some of my earliest creative worlds and i still do it end game because it still works and reminds me of better times
Yep!
this is annoying
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1728">28:48</a> Allow me to share one of my trick. It is fine to build 2 block tall rooms, but remember to build roof and floor with slabs. It not only save your materials, but also make your room practically 2.5 blocks tall, allow you to pile up two chests in a two-block tall room without problems in open the upper one.
All my first houses back in 2012 had 2 meters high ceilings, imagine a two storey house which is 6 blocks high :D

The Stone Axe > Netherite Sword is a Java only feature. Since Bedrock never got the Combat Update, Java has many advantages, such as off-hand wielding, Sweeping Edge, and Axe buffs.
Another awesome thing about Stonemasons is that is you go to a lush cave with a shovel, you can rack up a full inventory of clay within minutes Then go and trade with them, and you'll get around 20 levels and a stack or two of emeralds It's my favourite early-game experience/emerald farming method! Personally what i do is i also bring a Boat with Chest to get 2 inventories And combining that with the ender chest and shulker box trick, you can carry *81* inventories of clay with you! i have to try that eventually...
The mason has a pretty op trade early game considering how fast you can gather clay if you know how to do it.
Especially witch lush caves
Lava's also renewable through a command now, by the way. Works just like water, so a simple 1x3 or 2x2 space gives infinite lava.
That first one is advice to live by. In every world I always end up creating a huge room (about 15x15x6) with 24 double chests on each side of the room to hold all my things, labeled with signs. I always have an easy time finding things and putting things away thanks to this sort of storage system standard I've established for myself
Idk, i always used the f3+n for switching between creative and spectator. It is just faster
“Not about the amount of wood you have, its how you use it”
Double meaning
I always get enchanted fishing rods from just a regular fishing rod
And then you use regular fishing rods to repair the enchanted ones.
My knowledge is no longer from school, it's from this genius man
Skip: Getting blocks like quartz is hard. Also Skip: Quartz is a great way to get exp because there is a lot of it.
Necessity and usefulness of organising is easily leveled out by my laziness and good memory.
Man. I always set my worlds so that only a quarter of the players have to sleep even if it is a singleplayer world. That way if you are on some smp with friends you only need 2 or 3 people sleeping instead of the entire damned server.

THANKS THAT HELPED ME
1. i usually have a sorted chest array (in a side room or away from my house) and an unsorted chest array (in my house, in an obvious location, usually in the living room) so i know where 256 blocks of cobblestone are when i need them but i don't have to sort out everything every time my inventory fills
Wow I've been playing minecraft for years and I didn't know a lot of these facts, thank u.
i surely wont avoid them now! thx for the tips

I found that just two unwanted villager type are the key to having Beacon pyramid loads of emeralds. Fletchers and fishermen who if you get the right ones you can sell them sticks from mega Tegra tree farms and or fish stockpiles from fishing. PS if you put a chestboat on a hopper system while fishing on it you git a huge inventory for dumping extra items while farming mending books. takes IRL days but worth it in a grindstone in EXP and unwanted enchanted book for enchanting tables. takes about 8 mending book armor and basic tools. fishing rods will come to you as well with stacking enchantments. making the idea the fishing literally self efficient. and while fishing your minding enchanted armor repairs itself. sell excess.
Are we gonna talk about how he said that mud was shorter than a full block and it turns out it's taller?
visually, its taller
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1740">29:00</a> so an iron or even a netherite axe would deal even more dmg
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="694">11:34</a> its usualy a massive fight against 50 mobs so people cant sleep when theyre fighting because if they get hit they wake up <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1720">28:40</a> endermen teleporting in front of you while you mine it out is way worse and youre faster in a 2 block rather than the 3 block
How do you make an item filter? (for tip 20)
I'm surprised by a lot of these, not because it's new info or anything, but I'm surprised they're things people don't do.
If only a fraction of this stuff was doable in Bedrock... Also, what's wrong with auto-jump?
it automatically jumps, even when you don't want it. it can also be unreliable
@@MaxLai_0104 That's why you have crouch set to toggle.
besides for crops what is the use of having fortune on an axe?
there really are an infinite amount of things to learn from this game
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="236">3:56</a> Nty, I have seen Grian suffer enough, I am not about fish 10,000 fishes and build an altar to get 1 mending book, rather just not get mending
btw about the chest illusion with signs: its connected to the hinge. i have no explanation for the fences or anything.
That's why we should never Skip The Tutorial
33 XD. Should of shown Grian's Season 7 Mansion. As for the storage. Even if you organize. It's easy to keep filling it up until you forget about it and do another chest monster.
You should bring a crafting table while caving, mainly so that you can turn raw ores into blocks
This is such a good Minecraft tutorial channel
I guess I can’t *skip* this one
Thanks for the moss info!
Skip, as a minecrafter myself, I shall keep these in mind ;)
I cant wait to See what will this Help me with
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="960">16:00</a> and if you press f3+n you can fast switch bewteen your current (or last) gamemode and spectator
I like 3 block tall builds or more. Especially when it rains cause then i can get a house guest. I also try to get a zombie piglin as a room mate much quieter then villagers.
Fun fact : i think sleeping underwater is more dangerous then on surface. One drowned zombie with trident and you are done . Have fun rescuing the items😅. Fun fact 2; why waste enchanted book or enchant on stone tools if you coul just use them on diamond tools .
For the lights you can also use slabs. Dig 2 blocks down or up place light source, torch or glowstone. Then a slab even with the floor or ceiling and now you have lights without ever seeing them.
Only works on bedrock though
<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="110">1:50</a> There's also a datapack that has a ton more too
Just want to say that number 49 actually comes from the combat handbook on page 35("updated edition"). <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="1360">22:40</a>
I’d suggest 2.5 blocks tall rooms in houses instead of 3 unless you want potential endermen in your home. I say as someone that always makes my ceilings tall lol.
who else wants stone armour back it could save time then skipping to iron and not leather iron can take a long time to find and that stone armour was saving some of our time then finding iron! also I wont be avoiding these
FYI, for gamemodes you should be able to just type 1, 2, 3, or 4 to switch, and just typing the first letter should work as well. but I will admit it's still quicker to use f3+f4 to switch.
Not in the newer versions, the numbers can't be used with the /gamemode command anymore, and I still don't know why Mojang removed that feature.

<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="978">16:18</a> - it's a building sin, that ESPECIALLY Grian is guilty of 😆
U can use the nether quarts as a trade for Mason villagers and get extra emeralds AND xp BIG BRAIN
For the Stone Mason villager if you have lush cave the infinite amount of clay there would give you infinite emeralds from trading

This only matters in longer fights - against mobs, axes crit twoshot most hostile mobs and crit oneshot all passives in a shorter time than it takes for the equivalent sword to get 2 swings in.
That only matters against foes with enough health to survive more than two axe hits whatsoever.
