I remember my college days during Manmohan's era, suddenly the food inflation increased so much that we stopped eating dal ( I remember only eating arhar because that was cheap ), most vegetables were expensive too and we were eating just one meal a day. Education was privatized and those who talk about Socialism made sure that middle class suffered badly. I know many who didn't voted for Congress because inflation was so bad, for some reason Sanjay Jha thinks it's just *Propaganda* , but it's intellectual bankruptcy of left, it's delusion that they wanted to be in power when India didn't had something as basic as toilet after their 50 years of rule.

Hundreds of thousands more would have died under the congress rule. He is my dilemma about the situation- The Nehruvian socialists are all debauched, rich, entitled capitalists who will preach socialism and conspire to keep us poor and the current BJP is motivated and talented but has a fear of Muslims that I don’t agree with. If I had to choose between the 2, I would choose BJP and RSS because they really love India and are disciplined. For example, In 1986, PM Rajiv Gandhi first tried to open India's financial markets but failed miserably but in 1991 PM Narasimha Rao was able to accomplish it because he was able to put the right team and had his hand on the pulse.
