    • NO THEY UNDERSTAND!!! PPL JUST LIE WHEN THEY CANT GET THERE WAY!!! WHEN THE COPS COME IF THEY SEE THAT NOTHING IS GOING TO HAPPEN THEY SAY EXACTLY THAT!! HE THREATEN ME!! Crazy part is the cop has to be there to witness the threat or they have to go file a report and it’s investigated then the correct actions are handled

    • @@TTA42800, James, you were wrong on this one. Seems you are getting a little jaded. Let me explain. You have done enough audits to know from human psychology that people act on what they believe, and that lady honestly believed that she was right in saying that you could not record her without her permission. So . . . she acted accordingly and called the police. In fact, she had the right to call the police. Why? Because she was one of the very persons you seek out to educate, right? However, by the time the police arrived, she had been educated, by some unknown source, and then admitted to you directly “it’s okay.” Now, you know, and I know you know, that that is a profound admission - even though you know from human psychology that she would still be unwilling to apologize to you for her error. Knowing that, which you no doubt do, you should have given her a B- or C and considered her an educated student, no, yes, you tell me? Also, the Chief was exceptional. He was extraordinarily helpful, and perhaps even the most you have ever encountered, on first blush. And finally, and this is more an opinion rather than objective analysis, which is usually the sum and substance of my comments: you should not care about or be triggered by a camback, you, an FA Auditor, someone who champions the right of citizens to record in public spaces. A FOIA for such video is petty, James, really. I challenge you to reassess your response to such cambacks. You are flexing when you do that, and it is really not necessary since someone who records is unlikely to have valid grounds to object to someone recording, right? QED

    • @@danilopompey754she said ‘it’s okay’ bc the police were on scene otherwise she would not have said that. The chief was passive aggressive but compliant with the law. Nevertheless he was relaying his authority to tell James No he couldn’t walk back over to find out her name. The lady with the video at the end has a misunderstanding of what is private vs public. She is a public servant on the clock taking private video. She knows he was being recorded by the cams in the building but she chose to get her personal phone and video. James has every right & every reason to call out each singular behavior that is not in line with the law. We aren’t educating anyone if we let them slide by. I agree the chief was more concerned than most are.. however he had no authority to tell James he could not go back to get her name bc he was physically large and he was threatening in his appearance. They aren’t feelings police. Public Servants need to know how private & public matters work.

She was obviously educated, and so she rushes out to save face and says “He was recording and I have a right to ask not to be recorded”. Then why did you call the police? There’s never any transparency with these people. And let’s not gloss over the police officer zooming in with his lights on, illegally parking, and taking up 3 parking spots.

    • In the book of 1 Timothy 4:2, it is written: “Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron.” This verse highlights the consequences of hypocrisy and deceit. When individuals consistently lie and deceive others, their consciences become desensitized or “seared,” rendering them incapable of ethical functioning. Essentially, they become fooled by their own falsehoods, trapped in a cycle of deception that numbs their moral compass. The imagery of a seared conscience is powerful. Just as a branding iron leaves a permanent mark on flesh, habitual lying leaves an indelible scar on the soul. These liars lose touch with truth and righteousness, perpetuating their falsehoods without remorse. Their consciences become calloused, leading them further down the path of deception. Liars with seared consciences will ultimately be fooled by their own lies. Their inability to discern right from wrong traps them in a web of deceit, leaving them blind to reality and perpetuating their own falsehoods. It serves as a cautionary reminder for us all to value honesty and integrity, lest we fall into the same trap.

  • The convincing arrogance with which public employees state that you cannot record them without permission is an embarrassing display of their ignorance. The police then turn up and the first officer is rude and unprofessional, while the second officer becomes so, after identifying, both of them exhibit disdain for the people they are supposed to serve. Matt, the Police Chief made a polite entrance but then seemed intent on being obstructive with regards to your attempts to file a complaint on the employee, but eventually did the right thing. The assistant administrator was in the process of showing how public servants should interact with the public when the lady employee embarrassed them again with her performance, which was a shame.
