Wimby 2013 feels like the one that got away for Serena. 2013 was one of her career years and she was up a break in the 3rd set (2x) to Liscki. If only she could have held her serve, who knows….either way, 2013 was still one of the best, if not the best year of the GOAT’s career 🙌🏾🎉
It was never her tournament to win.She went into Wimbledon with clay court game. It's time to stop saying that "if only she this, if one she that" because her opponents knew how to play tennis too, you all Serena fans behave like you think she never lost any match because the opponent was better and that she should win 100 slams in a row . In Poland we say "If granny had a moustache she would be a grandpa", there is no "IF" in life

@@xavierrobinson200 Serena wouldn't exist if not rest of the players in tour. She wouldn't play alone. You don't play your best ever game 24/7, no one does. Her opponents were better tennis players on the day they beat her. Time to stop taking away their achievements, Serena has enough of achievements on her own, she doesn't need credit stolen from rest of WTA.
I remember watching Serena play this Wimbledon and she wasn’t playing well in none of her matches . I honestly think she needed more time to adjust after such a dominant clay court season. After all she’s the one who spent the longest on the surface after going undefeated. 2013 Serena was peak Serena.

Sometimes nerves get the best of us. In the case of Serena, oftentimes, she beats herself with so many unforced errors. Her style of play , the sometimes uncontrollable power, lends itself to.
That loss was so heartbreaking to watch! It’s almost as sad as the one to Alize Cornet.

Iga sucks on anything except slow hard courts and clay. Mediocre serve, incredible forehand, maybe top 50 mover in WTA history but nothing else remarkable. The single weakest era in WTA history.
