The fact that team 2 held out so long against team 1's massive economy is a testament to their skill.
When you build a paragon, your primary limitation to winning the game is A) having it destroyed and B) your PC hardware.

@@francopereyra6659 Not really, most games are at least one person dropping from lag, at least one person getting sniped early by something very avoidable or their own stupidity, who will then usually flame both teams over it. Most people only play on maps like Dual Gap so unless you have a lot of time to spare waiting for lobbies to fill you end up playing the same maps with the same strategies over and over. These maps also massively favour just turtling until T4 then throwing artillery and nukes at each other, or until someone builds up enough air power to score a few snipes with massive strat bomber waves. It supcoms biggest problem atm, the interesting games are too few and far between.

So the neat thing about t2 flak is it's an aoe defense that stacks. A swarm of planes can get taken out by a bunch of t2 flack sometimes more efficiently with enough of them, since Sams are single target single shoot at a time. It also hangs around so if you can lure your enemy over your flak swarm, you'll be at a significant advantage.

@@ArawnOfAnnwn Terarii was unit capping right at the end, had over 600 gunships and the rest of his base/units took up the rest. You could see him transferring tons of units to his teammates to free up unit cap every once in a while.

That early bomber play from Skill Issue is definitely a ground fire, you can't target engineers that are in a flying transport like that.

makes you wonder how low the sim speed was during game, probably send the attack command and then make a pizza.... by grinding corn leting the doug rise and then bake it after choping wood and making a fire by hand.

54:30 holy hell that megalith just got SHREDDED. About 2 dozen missiles come in and chunk out about 85% of a full HP megalith, permitting the GC double kill.

This one is indeed epic one. Was cheering for Team2 for the whole time, I hoped they'd eventually land a good nuke or something >.
Me too! They did so well for being down on eco for a huge margin and then Blodir's push gave me some hope.
I was wondering if Team 2 might pull a turnaround with their high experimental kill ratio and just salvaging so many huge wreck fields - but once the paragon hit the field that was kind of it, as they had no way to strike deep. Only hope at that point would have been a teleport on the first paragon before it got things rolling.
That only buys you 10 minutes.
I saw the build queue of those air factories and my biggest worry was that team 1 would surrender before we would see that plan in action.

To clarify the theranos vs Tesla, Theranos faked results that their machines did, thus causing fraud. Tesla just had very optimistic promises on their self driving tech. The terms self driving is not a legally protected term with a set definition so legally they didn’t lie either. They didn’t promise a set timeline either so didn’t breach any contract either. Slimy but not illegal, just optimistic and visionary if you’re more charitable

Weird how T1 couldn't fully utilize the two paras, even though they had the upper hand and not much pressure on them. It spiked above 12k from time to time, but mostly stayed under 9k.
I wonder why they don't mix in a few Flaks with the SAMs. With these numbers the total damage from the AOE must be ridiculous.

Gyle has been one of the best players himself for years. Recently however, he has been taking a break due to a lack of worthy opponents. So it's really no supprise he excels at casting aswell.

I believe the reason Gyle had to retire was because the server could not longer track his Elo, it was simply too high of a number. In his last match he played against the 10 most skilled players behind him. Gyle played blindfolded using nothing but his massive erect dong to press the keys and still won within 5 minutes.
I dont think I've ever seen a paragon used THAT way before....

Loads of immense firepower on display in this one. Although, on this occasion there wasn't much tension about who was going to win so not one of my favourite epics overall. Still entertaining though!

It's pretty consistent at this point, if you have one team with one high end player with lower ratings and another with a bit lower rating than the other teams ace, it will very often go the teams way where points are more evenly dispersed. Generally the weaker players get taken on the aces team and leave the star player in APM deficit. Be interesting to see if neuralink works how it might change the game if now you could manage extreme levels of APM. Like in the tens of thousands... Anyways as a rule of thumb I predict that the team that will win will almost always have the better point distribution.

From a more practical point of view, it's just about lying to the public vs lying to a bunch of powerful people who invested millions into your company. Elon is full of shit but the cars and rockets exist (even if they don't live up to every promise made), but the medical diagnosis device was a total scam right from the start, there was at no point any kind of conceptual schematic about how it was even supposed to work, it just promised magic.
