Great interview, respect Aleem for his social media presence and putting PET in the map. But looking at car hire businesses the numbers don't add up. Just a quick example, i buy 2x new Rolls Royce Cullinans which would cost £680k, after 2 years old i sell and going by autotrader I'd get £460k for them. So if lose £220k that means to break even id have to rent them out every month for £10k, im pretty sure most rental places rent them for £5k a weekend which would mean to make a profit it would need to be out the door quite often. Plus overheads for building and employee wages, insurances and business rates😮
Haven't listened to the podcast cos I'm not the biggest fan of Aleem so he may have mentioned this but if I recall he rents out the Bugatti for £25k a day. There's a lot of clients in Birmingham who'd rent them just to show off driving round Birmingham on a Friday/Saturday night, It's pretty sad really, but the client base is there for him for sure. PET stands out a fair bit as well on the coventry road as the area its in isn't exactly the most desirable either. I don't think what's said about his old man is true but if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, its probably a duck....
@@rrrrr410actually if you look at there accounts on companies house list, they earned nothing for the last 3 years, and one of the Rolls Royce was heavily financed against other assets in the business. Im not hating, but im intrested in business and how businesses make money so obviously i love looking at accounts, business model etc, I also own a new business renting out campervans, I bought a VW California Ocean for £65k it on average will make me about £20k a year, but resale residual after 4/5 years will still be worth over £30k minimum, So should see a profit when it gets sold/part ex.
@@Stuey1221I live not far from there, been passed a few times, remember back in 2010 when it was the car wash with a white rolls royce outside with 10 RD plate on. Yeah i read comments on his dad etc on how he has made his money and regardless how he got it, it doesn't make a difference to my life, ive seen him on another podcast and he comes across a decent fellow and Aleem looks upto him, and he has given his kids a great life like any father would.

Had a lamborghini from them, was good service but car came directly from another rental so wasnt clean Known someone who had the reg G wagon from them with a cracked windscreen and dirty inside too. They are really good PET - but improvements can be made
