1:02 i would rather have short nails than ruin my brush, A hack to make fake nails by me: cut out the shape of your nails from a sheet of paper..for example you are making of thumb, then cut out you thumb shaped nail as lomg as you want, cut out 3 layer paste them together n then apply clear polish/nail polish on your hand then take any glue, school glue also works (your nails will not be damaged by glue as you have applied a layer of polish) n voila! Long waterproof nails are ready!
All these are amazing except they all don't fall under the category "DIY FAKE NAILS". LOL

if you want to make diy nails at home here are in my opinion the best 4 :1 this is the best and strongest in my opinion is a water bottle you cut out the nail make a small creese down the mittle its very importint then put it on with any nail polish then paint it! :) now number 2 :2 straw you cut a straw peace then cut down it make the nail shape then creese it down the mittle again then put it on your nail with nail polish and paint it if you want to :) now number 3 :3 paper you fold paper 3 times or more then cut out a nail shape then use nail polish to glue the layers together then use nail polish to attach it. Now last but least (yes I ment that and not last but NOT least) number 4 (my hand is tired from tipping) :4 tape you make layers of tape cut out a nail then attach it (I hope this helped I put a lot of effert I looked up these ways to make diy fake nails and put time in righting this)
