  • Bicycles emerged in 1817 when Karl von Drais invented his Laufmaschine. Riders propelled this two-wheeled wooden vehicle by paddling their feet on the ground. By the 1860s, paddling had been replaced by pedals fitted to the front wheel. Some of these wheels grew to extraordinary sizes; France’s Eugène Meyer and Englishman James Starley built penny farthing bicycles with front wheels up to 1.5 m in diameter. Starley’s nephew, John, introduced the safety bicycle in 1885. It boasted a diamond-shaped frame, handlebars and pedals below the rider, turning the rear wheel via a chain and chainwheel - all features of bikes today.

  • Sadly these hub motors don't perform well in hilly areas where the roads are always up and down(munbai, goa etc). It will be great on flat places like Delhi, gujarat, Hyderabad etc.

  • Cycles don't have regen cause it is inefficient to convert pedaling energy to battery. Plus it is already hard to pedal electric bikes in case of no power and it will become even harder.

  • Portable battery is the USP of this. In a rented house we will not be having facility for charging at parking area. So this is the solution to it.

  • I bought one in canada worth 1500$ around although it is quite expensive but it is foldable, top speed 40 and range 60-80 depend on pedals as well It is quite worth for me
