  • 14:12 You actually want to keep any batteries, or any type of metal, away from your device as much as possible. Contact to the screen with metal or batteries could damage it, but only for a little bit. (I’ve put a slinkie on my iPod before and it wouldn’t let me tap on the screen for like 30 minutes.) Also, no magnets either. There is a lot of metal in your device and putting magnets on it could damage it more than metal or batteries ever could.

    • Instead put a locator RF ID tag under the battery cover and program ITTT to notify you if your phone's proximity to your laptop changes while you are not at home. You can even program it to turn on the camera and broadcast photos of whoever uses it, or even have it notify the police.

    • That's good, but instead of having to buy a new keyboard, you can just buy a box of alphabet noodles! And if the letters wear off your keyboard, and you are too cheap to buy the $1.99 black plastic key labels from Amazon, you could glue some of those alphabet noodles to the keys. Then you can type in the dark, by feeling the keys! :-p
