Konico realistic ways to catch the legendary dogs, victory road calamity, realistic ways to move around the pokeworld without HM. And for snorlax part 2 equip snorlax with a baloon from BW that way he'll float and you can pass under him, but when your rival tries to pass a spearow pops the baloon. Or have a pokemon use nightmare and if you use the snorlax at the bridge it'll fall from it like how one would fall from bed.

What I never understood is why we can't just.... catch it.... i mean you find a sleeping Snorlax and you're forced to wake it up, only to battle and more than likely put it back to sleep to catch. Seems really dumb.

I can think of boring ideas such as fly or battle it anyway. Funny stuff... Diglet digs hole for Snorlax to fall into? Mewtwo's Psychic sends Snorlax flying? Celebi sends Snorlax to a different time? Gengar uses nightmare... and then I don't know. Don't remember the name of the move but it makes a pokemon wake up. I think it was some noise move. Minimise Snorlax somehow. Make Snorlax float with balloons. Magnetise Snorlax with electric moves and use Magnemite's magnetism to attract it away.

Also using a normal pokeball, even if it fails the Snorlax would be in it for 1-3 seconds, enough to run through while it gets off it and not notice you at all
